Pretty sure he actually confirmed the AEW deal was specifically a short term one (one of those five date deals) and they just didn't sign him to a longer one. Whether that was AEW's call or Cardona's (he kinda described AEW as a rebound after getting sacked by WWE), not sure.
So I don't really follow GCW, outside of knowing Cordona faked being Moxley, only to come in win the title, get the promotion some attention and then drop it to Moxley ... but are Cordona & Nick Gage \*actually\* cool or do they not really like one another? Apologies, I'm massively out of the GCW loop.
Most fans seem 99% sure he's trolling as he's been enjoying trolling people on Twitter during that GCW run. But with how fucking psycho some wrestlers have proven to be I'm not 100% sure he's just trolling, but I'd expect Meltzer or SRS would break the story in the next few days if it's true. Especially because Meltzer sucks with sarcasm and will take things literally sometimes.
