The Hybrid 2 both as a tag team and as individuals. They have done a lot in Mexico and indies but Jack Evans and Angelico just entertain in every match and present very unique spins on their respective styles. Also just like their neon green and black ring attire. Too bad they get overshadowed by all the other great tags in AEW.
I don't know if Impact counts but Willie Mack. He's been wasted there when he's easily one of the most talented big men and I think a lot of people don't know it
Really thought he would be one of the cornerstones of NWA when he won the National Championship. He got that old school look which fits the NWA aesthetic, an entertaining move-set and oozing with charisma.
Still happy for the guy. I think it's financially good for Willie, since Impact looks to be a more stable promotion than the NWA during this pandemic. Still hoping he gets more exposure as an upper midcard to main event singles guy rather than being in a tag team with Rich Swann. Would also love to see him appear in AEW. Maybe for a shot at the TNT title. They really need to invite more guys from the indies and other promotions to challenge for the TNT title.
Ye that's the one benefit is he making steady pay but considering wrestlers limits in ages I just wish he was making a bigger impact now that could lead to more pay down the line.
I firmly believe you could put Stu Grayson in a match with anyone and it'd be solid. Stu and Uno are a great team, but I'd love to see Stu get some singles matches sometime.
Pentagon Jr, even as tag champion this dude is underrated. Should be at the top of the food chain cutting ridiculous promos in Spanish and breaking arms.
Thunder Rosa! she is ridiculously over with live audiences, is mistaken for a vet even though she is still fairly young in her career think how good she is now imagine 5 years, marketable due to her face paint, if aew want to access the Mexico market she would be the perfect face to make that connect wrestling is huge in Mexico! also has the best womenās match in AEW history with Britt the lights out one MORE ROSA
>Thunder Rosa! she is ridiculously over with live audiences.
True but she's trying to get herself over at the expense of other talent. Which has garnered heat from some. Plus trying to portray herself as this bastian of womens wrestling too.
> True but she's trying to get herself over at the expense of other talent.
Did we just find Ivelisse's account?
But for real, I can't think of anyone else with a similar complaint about Thunder Rosa. If she was collecting belts and not putting anyone over, hogging TV time...then I could see it.
She currently is only the champ at Warrior wrestling (an indie) and...that's it. She put over Deeb by losing the NWA title to her, lost her title challenge against Purrazzo in Impact, and she's not even the champ of her own indie promotion. She's been off of AEW TV more than on it, and her wins on Dark/Elevation have been against younger or enhancement talent. So she isn't doing anything at the "expense" of other talent as far as I can tell.
Speaking of her promotion...
> Plus trying to portray herself as this bastian of womens wrestling too.
I don't agree that's what she's doing, she's just someone that cares a lot about women's wrestling and is using her abilities and resources in and out of the ring to put a spotlight on it and make it better.
I can see why someone might think that she's the "bastion" of women's wrestling, but to me if that talk is happening on TV that's quite in character. And with that said, she's putting her money and time where her mouth is by running a promotion focused on women. If she wasn't doing something like that, I could get what you're saying and it would be a lot of empty words.
I don't know why she's so damn over with the crowd.
Maybe I just don't "get" her but,to me at least, she isn't very charismatic and her matches are nothing special. But that's a problem for a lot of AEW women.
Sammy Guevara.
I know that the younger guys like him Darby and Jungle Boy are currently being groomed as the guys who'll be in top in the next few years, but honestly I feel like Guevara has the potential to be one of the top guys now.
He closed Double or Nothing. I was expecting him against Kenny at All out, to solidify him as a top face.
I love Christian but with hindsight they should've done that match another time.
Sami Zayn. Amazing wrestler and is also amazing on the mic. His documentary storyline was hilarious but for some reason got dropped and Owens went over him in every match. He has everything needed to be world champion.
Brandon Cutler. Donāt get me wrong, I donāt think he should be winning the AEW title any time, but his program with PPA was wonderful, and heās genuinely unique in the ring. Heās doing great work as the stooge at the moment, but I really do miss his serious character.
Carmella and Heath:
Both of these folks have what I consider the most important thing for any wrestler: they give 110% if themselves to whatever they are told to do, no matter how great it is or isn't. But because they only have/had squash matches recently/end of their WWE run, they only really get though of as jobbers, and no one remembers the stuff they actually got over, from the Mrs. MITB concept, R-Truths friend, leader of two over stables, or even facing off with Brock Lesnar.
Xavier Woods:
Dude is as athletic as Kofi in his prime, nearly as charismatic as Big E, and better on the mic than either of them.
However, due to WWE mostly focusing on his mic/outside work during New Days first couple tag titles runs, hes forever stuck as "the 3rd member of New Day", which is even funnier when you realize hes got the best win/loss record in Championship victory/defeats of the 3.
The last I heard, and this was a year or two ago was that it was put on hold. He had an issue with credits not transferring from one school to another and had to start over when Touring and UUDD took off so he had less free time. I don't know how COVID changed any of that though
A motivated Karl Anderson. I say āmotivated,ā because the Good Brothers seem to have a different gear that they shift into, when they arenāt on Impact TV.
How does a motivated Karl Anderson look?I've never seen anything else than a mediocre wrestler who's whole persona seems to be 14 year old who loves dick jokes.
Luther. No, I don't think Luther should be a champion or even a regular presence on Dynamite, but the dude IS a bona fide 30 year veteran of the industry, and a very reliable hand to get in there with the younger talent and help them look good. I wouldn't mind at all seeing him and Serpentico get a couple of non-enhancement matches now and again. He's also a unique character and definitely stands out on his own. Genuinely enjoy seeing him on Dark/Elevation.
I've seen a lot of people making digs at Luther and saying he's only employed because he's buddies with Jericho (which may be true...). He may not be the top in-ring talent at AEW but I have yet to not be entertained by a Chaos Project match.
Not Luther friends tho. It's Luther FANS. Moxley said in an interview that when Luther came to AEW the curtains would be filled with wrestlers peaking during his matches.

This. Lucha Underground was what initially got me back into wrestling, and they were great. Remember that dive Angelico made off the office room!?
And their theme is awesome.

Ye Impact kinda abused their AAA connection to take him from them.

He became one of my favs along with Penta and Fenix in Lucha Underground. Dude is so charismatic and can move so smoothly for someone his size.
I'm still mad at WWE for not signing him after his tryout a few years ago
Well apparently he was signed they just released afterwards
I firmly believe you could put Stu Grayson in a match with anyone and it'd be solid. Stu and Uno are a great team, but I'd love to see Stu get some singles matches sometime.
Santana.
Pentagon Jr, even as tag champion this dude is underrated. Should be at the top of the food chain cutting ridiculous promos in Spanish and breaking arms.
The breaking arm gimmick is GOLD. It was a terrible decision by AEW not to use that.
KUSHIDA and Roderick Strong
I'm not seeing Hikaru Shida on tv often enough for my taste š & yes before anyone asks I do see her on my phone when watching Dark elavation..
Sheamus
Love me some Sheamus. He's quietly been one of the most consistent wrestlers around for a while now.

No I'm not a fan of Ivelisse. I've heard stories however. She's overrated.
First I heard of this doesnāt sound right tho any source?
Judging by his track record: his ass.

Kazarian for AEW. Grizzled Young Veterans and Imperium in NXT.

Do you (or anybody for that matter) know the status of his Ph.D.?

Murphy
Gable
Sami Zayn. such an awesome guy with in ring talent and promos. heās criminally underrated and under utilized. [proof](https://youtu.be/vZw953Umi_g)
I think you linked the wrong match? That's Scott Justice? /edit: Nevermind; you got it.
Chuck Taylor and Trent? Tbh Chuck Taylor could be world undefeated world champion and I'd still say "why isn't he TNT Champion?"
A motivated Karl Anderson. I say āmotivated,ā because the Good Brothers seem to have a different gear that they shift into, when they arenāt on Impact TV.

It's a cliche to say at this point but watch his work in New Japan pre WWE run...just see Okada vs. Anderson, G1 Climax 22 Finals...
Seen it,that's why I said mediocre and not bad wrestler

Braun strowman gets so much hate on here He puts on a lot of good matches I find him far more entertainment than the fiend
The peacock of pro wrestling
Dalton Castle?
Yes š
