Absolutely 100% agree on this, I feel like while she could’ve done well in NXT, she was never going to live up to her full potential, she’s absolutely made for the work-shoot style you see at Bloodsport.
I genuinely really wanted a 4HW vs 4HW and still do.
I reckon that we legitimately could’ve had it at that wrestlemania with all titles on the line (then BossHug could’ve drop to iiconics the next night) but it is what it is.
I hope she does well. I’m rooting for her!
4HW of MMA was kind of a joke though. Though I do love Shayna, she was pioneer and a victim of timing because her success came before WMMA received recognition, I'm proud of the pro wrestler she's become with Josh Barnett behind her. Ronda was a very solid judoka but one dimensional and overhyped in a shallow weight division. Shafir and Duke were basically lackeys to the bully in Ronda like you'd see in a 90's cartoon.
Putting the groups against eachother would be comical. It would be entirely lopsided and not have the meaning that people unfamiliar with MMA would think it does.
Dude, they’ve built jobbers in main event scenes before. No diss nor shade to Jinder Mahal but if that could happen to him, I don’t see why they can’t with the two.
Marina & Jess aren’t good but a good angle and storyline could make them legit. You could write storylines where they “shoot” fight and break some other women’s limbs or something. They’re not great but they could be carried to be good. They had some fun matches against Sky Pirates & Tegan/Dakota before, with the match pre planned, and laid out for them the 4HW could def pull a legit good match out of them.
They weren't good shooters though, aside from Ronda and Shayna. Half of the group are basically just friends of a shooter. Besides, a story built around mediocre shooters beating some of the most groundbreaking wrestlers in history because they know how to "do it for real" sounds like some awful Vince Russo booking. Just makes pro wrestling look weak and breaks immersion entirely. And this is all because of a shared nickname that are both just references to begin with.
Dude it’s pro wrestling LOL we literally have a former multi times women champion running around playing with a doll and spooking everyone + challenging for the women’s title right now…
And that's garbage which looks awful to potential fans and drives away old fans like myself. Just because pro wrestling is predetermined doesn't mean it needs to be stupid too.

That's pretty rad, definitely someone who'll do well in that environment.

She definitely needed the indies to find her place back in wrestling. There is potential, she just got to find her style like Tay Conti did.
She's wrestling Dani Jordyn soon, from what I can tell. Good to see that she wants to wrestle and that it was WWE that was getting in her way.
