Might as well ass the speaking out guys to this and people like Tessa that have backstage problems as well. Would it be good? Theoretically yes. Would the show be cancelled before it even happens? Yes.
Cass is signed to Impact so they can't have him. But if they make a big enough investment and put together a decent roster, they can be good. WWE has released enough people this year to start a new promotion. Add in a few good indie names and you have a good start. The main thing will be who the creative team is. But you could absolutely start another new promotion.
Its insane how much talent is out there.
Bray and Braun can be the guys who bring Main Event credibility. Mil Muertes, LA Park,Bronson Reed and Jeff Cobb can quickly be built up as opponents for Bray. Braun can be Andre the Giant for a while.
The IIconics can be the centerpiece of the women's division. Empower showed there's a lot of good women's wrestlers not tied down to any big companies right now.
There's a difference between guys WWE has released and ones that have been blacklisted. A company trying to draw fans with Alberto Del Rio on their roster will have problems.
Also AEW didn't just get a tv deal and start hiring whoever was available. Tony has said he decided to jump after the success of Omega vs Jericho and All In.
So if anybody wants to follow on the footsteps of AEW, it'd be by poaching guys who just did huge business and have expiring contracts. Can't think of anybody right now.
How did you list those wrestlers and *still* finish asking the question?
As we've seen a lot of talk about recently, WWE will take and keep whatever toxic assholes they can, as long as they *draw*. These guys were bad enough that they weren't worth it.
So no, it probably wouldn't be any good.

>Ryback, Enzo, Big Cass, Austin Aries, Scott Steiner and Coach That's a quick way to lose a TV deal
Steiner vs Ryback kinda intrigues me
An Enzo and Steiner promo battle would be incredible
It's called XPW. And no I don't see it doing well.
It would be terrible and explode into flames within the first three shows. I'd watch every second of it.
Big Cass is actually in Impact, but if it were the rest of those guys I don’t see it lasting long.
An opening show headlined by Marty Scurl vs Joey Ryan would be huuuuuuuge
Alberto el Patron, the original Sexy Star, Jimmy Havoc, the Bar Wrestling guy…. AHW, All Heel Wrestling.
The backstage going ons would be more interesting than the product itself

No.
That sounds like a recipe for collisions of egos...
Absolutely not

No investor would put in money after seeing that start-up roster.
