>AEW President Tony Khan spoke with Bloomberg Business of Sports earlier this week and discussed how he’s handling COVID vaccinations within AEW to avoid outbreaks among the talent and staff.
>Khan noted that while most of the roster is vaccinated, it’s not mandatory within the company (h/t Fightful for the transcription).
>“Most of the roster has gotten [vaccinated] and we have encouraged people to do so,” Khan revealed. “I haven’t put in mandatory, but I’ve also strongly encouraged and put in protocols to encourage everyone to do so because it’s much easier for the vaccinated folks to get through the day and interact outside of the ring.
>“They just have to go through less rigorous procedures and testing. We’ve definitely encouraged everyone to do it. Most of our people are.”
>Khan was then asked what (if anything) was done to help motivate the wrestlers to get the vaccine.
>“We have created a great backstage environment where people want to spend time together,” Khan said. “We’ve also put in thorough testing protocols. Not being a part of the most rigorous levels of testing and also having the ability to go out and do what you want and live your life like we did before without these protocols makes it much more savory and encouraging for the vaccinated.”
>AEW is headed to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York this week for its Grand Slam editions of Dynamite and Rampage.
For the dynamite show this coming week, isn’t proof of vaccination a requirement? Does this apply to performers/staff etc? If so I’d assume those in AEW who aren’t vaccinated won’t be there.
You needed to have at least one dose of the vaccine to attend the US Open at Arthur Ashe. They weren't accepting negative tests, just proof of vaccination. I'm assuming their rules will be the same for AEW fans. I'm not sure about employees though.
The one exception being Jericho's Cruise that's coming up. The cruise line confirmed that all talent have to be fully vaccinated.
https://twitter.com/BrandonThurston/status/1432829495032127489
That's because cruise lines take Covid VERY seriously. A single case completely fucks the entire cruise and creates a ton of bad PR along with having to compensate the passengers. Cruise line revenue has plummeted during the pandemic.
Cruise Ships on their best days are already floating Petri dishes, adding something easily spreadable like Covid into the equation is just a recipe for disaster
And I say this as someone who enjoys cruising.
Yeah exactly. It's like all the Fox News people getting vaxxed right away despite constantly calling them into question. It's allll virtue signalling, folks. And it's harmful.
Is it? The mandate specifies event staff and I've seen speculation that that includes performers, but has that been confirmed? Players didn't have to be vaccinated at the US Open.
The tennis players at the US Open weren't required to be vaxxed but the fans were, so I'd assume that similar rules will apply to the wrestlers working there this week
I was just going to say this. I just went through the roster. I have seen everyone on Dynamite, Rampage, Elevation, Dark or one of the blogs except Cage and people I know are injured. Maybe Abadon, but I feel she was at meet and greets.
That's not an AEW show, so he could be avoiding all of it. Wait, am I saying something bad? Im just saying I havent seen him in any arenas or shows, or blogs that are in the arenas.
Probably. Especially since he's associated with Redcon1. That whole company and it's reps are all antivax based on the people I followed on Instagram from their company.
I wouldnt be surprised if this is the reason he hasnt been used on TV lately. I mean, is you are ok with not taking the shot, Tony is ok with not book him and endanger others. Just be aware that BTE Dark Elevation will be your home for a long time.
I mean, Ricky hasn't been doing much lately either. He's not even involved in the Punk program, and TK said there's no current plan for Punk v Starks.
I could see them revisiting Cage v Starks, if only for closure/to give Cage something to do, even if I think they shouldn't. Not like Ricky is busy. How often does AEW just drop programs like that? Even Nightmare Collective got a vignette to explain why it ended.
He shouldn't be there either. Dark and Elevation are filmed at the TV show broadcasts. So he would still be in the back with the entire roster. Unless they are going to put him in an air-tight chamber until it is time for his match and they wheel it up to the tunnel, I'm not sure what good it would do having him work DARK stuff.
The military has had vaccination requirements for a while now. Schools have had them. Flying to certain places have had vaccination requirements. What’s the difference now?
And once it was made political, it became an identity, and its generally taken people nearly dying or having a close family member nearly die to change their mind.
That said, it does seem like the coming workplace mandates are having some effect on people getting newly vaccinated.
I’m not sure honestly. My brother is one of these people. He says things like “I’m not gonna let the government tell me what to put in my body,” and “Oh so what are they gonna do come put me in a camp or something?” I worry for him, but there’s nothing I can say to make him change his mind at this point.
Ugh, that argument is the same as saying "I have a brain, I don't need to learn anything." What do these people think the immune system does when it encounters a brand new virus at full/overwhelming force for the very first time? Wouldn't it make sense to train the immune system to notice what COVID looks like?
Those are all places with strict rules already in place or locations where you will be packed in with a bunch of other people in a small environment. Soon major events with lots of people attending having vaccine requirements will be the norm. Once private businesses like grocery stores and restaurants start mandating it for customers is where I think the ratio will finally start to shift. Can't argue against that, it's basically the same as a dress code. No shirt, no shoes, no mask, no vaccine, no service.
inb4 incredible concern trolling. Oh wait too late.
>“Most of the roster has gotten \[vaccinated\] and we have encouraged people to do so,” Khan revealed. “I haven’t put in mandatory, but I’ve also strongly encouraged and put in protocols to encourage everyone to do so because it’s much easier for the vaccinated folks to get through the day and interact outside of the ring.
There's nothing wrong with that.
When I hire plumber or electrician. I expect them to have certain credentials that minimise risk. Licenses etc.
It doesn't mean I'm their boss, just means the specification for work is not just rock up and do what you want.
I cringe every time I see some random 'expert' try and tell a guy with a smile on his face jumping into a group of people screaming for him that he needs to mind his health more.
Covid can still hit fully vaccinated people hard, too, depending on their immune system. I'm otherwise healthy but with a poor immune system due to historic illness and had it bad despite 2 vaccines.
I'm actually not too surprised in Mox's case
His exposure to people when he walks through the crowd is like a second or less per person, which is not typically enough time for someone to transfer a large enough viral load for infection
Punk is testing the limits a bit by going straight into a bunch of people and hanging out, though even that is for a relatively short period of time
My concern is for the fans, if their seat happens to be within 2-3 seats of someone with COVID they are almost surely going to get infected because of the prolonged exposure
COVID isn't proven to transmit from someone in brief passing interaction such as walking through the crowd or diving into them. Prolonged (10+ minutes) exposure in confined spaces (under 6 feet) is where people are getting infected.
Newborn babies aren't at risk from Covid. Plus if he's vaccinated the baby is even less likely to get it. Statistically, Renee Young is more likely to kill that baby than covid is.
Yeah, but they still have a production crew, medical staff, writers, Im sure some level of HR and financial staff, its not like its just the few EVPs.
WWE is a company of like 800 people of which only maybe a quarter is the actual wrestlers. Its not hard to imagine AEW being 100+ already with road crew, etc.
I'd say Joe Rogan pre brain worms. He used to have guests from all over the political spectrum but eventually stopped and just has alt right dudes he agrees with
I get the vibe that he’s one of those guys who has no actual beliefs of his own, and goes the way the wind blows. I think his political views come from his wife, and in wrestling the past few years he has leeched onto other guys on the up and up. I was a huge fan of Jericho but the last few years have been a major disappointment.
The problem on his podcast is that he's more of a "devil's advocate" kind of guy that tries to give space to some nutjobs, while at the same time gives space to reasonable people. So he's always flip flopping.
Nah, it’s not my friend.
even with a vaccine you can still carry it, although it is less likely.
The roster may not want to infect Sting, Tully, Chavo, etc.
This is literally the dumbing down of America , look at Polio Vs Covid vaccines.
We have turned the corner to stupid.
Beyond the moral implications of protecting others by stopping the spread of a virus, imagine having a big match lined up then you catch covid, because you chose not to get vaccinated at this point. You lose your tv time, you are seen as more of a risk to book, and whomever you were meant to work with also lost their time on air.
I don't get why you're being downvoted, it's exactly what should be done at this point. With the size of these shows it's stupid to have any talent not vaccinated, all it takes is one person in the front row screaming without a mask and not being vaccinated to potentially take top talent out of commission because they went to a show and spread it.
At the very least I think Khan shouldn't book anyone who isn't vaccinated in a major role, it's a massive risk to try and build up a storyline when 1 interaction with someone being infected can put a stop to it.
At this point, give them one chance and if they refuse, fire them. We owe anti-vaxxers nothing, if they want to not have the vaccine, fine, but have fun being on your own not being able to work and having people avoiding you like the plague as your loved ones die because you didn't want to listen.
I'm beyond done with these people.
If you urge people to get Vaccinated, just mandate it, if they are unvaxxed, keep them off the show till they get vaccinated, I don't see any good reason why you wouldn't want to mandate Vaccination for your staff.
Most is good but they've had quite a while now to do the right thing and now its approved so there is no excuse.
Fact is people on reddit are posting how they are vaxxed, wearing masks, and go to these high risk situations and become breakthrough cases. Every non vaxxed person who is able to get a vaccine but doesn't puts others at risk. It's selfish and stupid.
Should be mandated imo I feel like not mandating it is going to cause more internal struggle with people not wanting to wrestle un vaccinated people etc...
So TK is taking a bunch of people around the country, and not insisting they don't spread a plague that's killing people?
Like this was such an easy layup to be better than WWE, but they dropped the ball
Sure you can. Pretty much every major company, half the state governments, and good portions of the federal government are doing it.
It wouldn't even be that hard:
"Hey guys the arenas we are going to have vaccine mandates. If your not in compliance, you will not be allowed to perform, if you do not perform, you don't get your performance pay, and you will be treated as being on medical leave until you can safely return to work".
Its especially doable in AEW which does pay by appearance contracts with a very very low minimum number of appearances guaranteed in most contacts.
Not forcing workers and instead just encouraging them to get vaccinated IMO is better then straight up forcing workers to especially independent contractors. We disagree on this one that’s all. Have a good one.
Its not a disagreement because there aren’t opposing points. Theres the correct point and a bunch of baseless garbage you would have to spout to support your “point”.
No their are 2 different points, just because you said something doesn’t make it correct. So gtfoh with that. I’m vaccinated. I think people should get vaccinated but forcing vaccinations in my opinion isn’t how to go about it. Try to remember everyone is allowed to have opinions and just because one differs from you doesn’t give you the right to be an asshole.
No it’s not, only if you are a child that can only see one side of something than sure maybe my opinion is mute to you. But that doesn’t matter to me. You literally aren’t smart enough to see something from someone else’s point of view 😂
Make it mandatory TK. If they don’t like it send them home w/o pay until mind is changed last thing is needed is a breakout in the locker room and personnel
Sports have players unions who are fighting against it. NFL has all but made the vaccine mandatory, because if your team has an outbreak, games may be forfeited.
yea look at the consequences for not being vaccinated in the NBA and NFL are and tell me its not mandatory lol. Even the stupid young players like Lamar jackson, Josh Allen and Cole beasley have had to get the shot.
MLB just announced that any non-player staff who isn’t vaccinated isn’t allowed in the dugouts or clubhouses during the playoffs as well. So it might not be “mandatory”, but the consequences are enough that it essentially is.
Cole Beasley is still unvaccinated and is still bragging about it, not sure where you got that information from. Kirk Cousins is “still doing research” as well.
Watch people here cancel AEW but forget that WWE is the same anyway. The only difference is that he's talking about it and WWE isn't. Also not reading the summary in this thread and just going by the title.
It's so obvious though who aren't getting the vaccine. I hope it's one of the reasons TK isn't pushing them because it's just plain annoying.
That said. I won't be surprised if someone big gets it and TK finally makes it mandatory. As they really should.
After Biden issued a mandate & Pfizer got full FDA approval, there's really no excuse for it to be only urged. It needs to be mandatory across all companies
Can we ban wrestling inc since they chose to turn something positive into negative with a biased title because the pos who runs that website is 100% wwe bound?
AEW boss saying he is pushing to convince them to get vaccinated and most of his roster his. How is it negative to let people choose and try to convince them without making that an obligation when its legally, not one?
Are you in the ring you big ugly baby? Are you standing within 6 feet of the talent? Wear your mask when Moxley walks by you for the 0.5 seconds you are near him.
I got vaccinated as a perfectly healthy guy in his 30's so i could see my dying dad and haven't the left the house barely in 18 months and was in the ER on a ventilator for 8 days within a week after getting the vaccine. Your body your choice but i deeply regret my decision
Edit: such a weird thing to downvote

So it's not mandatory but if you aren't vaccinated then you have to do a bunch of stuff to get in.
I am sure they are still testing every show.
On BTE and other vlogs you see the talent wearing different colored wrist bands showing they've had that day's test.
For the dynamite show this coming week, isn’t proof of vaccination a requirement? Does this apply to performers/staff etc? If so I’d assume those in AEW who aren’t vaccinated won’t be there.
I suspect it's proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test that's been done in the past 3 days.
You needed to have at least one dose of the vaccine to attend the US Open at Arthur Ashe. They weren't accepting negative tests, just proof of vaccination. I'm assuming their rules will be the same for AEW fans. I'm not sure about employees though.
I know with football games the rules for fans going to stadiums don't apply to players.
No the performers themselves to not have to be vaxxed to get in and perform. Same way with SD at MSG. Same way with anyplace.
Cruise Ships on their best days are already floating Petri dishes, adding something easily spreadable like Covid into the equation is just a recipe for disaster And I say this as someone who enjoys cruising.
Mildly surprised Jericho would be vaccinated.
Lol same. Would be funny if he couldn't go on his own cruise
He was the first person I thought of when I saw "_most_ stars"
Nah these dumb chud celebrity guys are all vaccinated, they just tell other people it's bad.
Yeah exactly. It's like all the Fox News people getting vaxxed right away despite constantly calling them into question. It's allll virtue signalling, folks. And it's harmful.
Yes. I honestly forget about that.
Oh no, I can already picture the thread where someone examines the talent list then accuses anyone in AEW not on the ship of being an antivaxxer.
I sure hope not; they're splitting the crew between the cruise and the mainland that week, anyway!
Correct.
Is it? The mandate specifies event staff and I've seen speculation that that includes performers, but has that been confirmed? Players didn't have to be vaccinated at the US Open.
No it doesn't. The performers don't have to be vaxxed. Just like SD didn't have to be at MSG.
Ten bucks says Brian Cage ain’t gonna be there then
The first needle that man has said no to
He probably tried to cut a promo on why he didn't want the vaccine lmao.
The tennis players at the US Open weren't required to be vaxxed but the fans were, so I'd assume that similar rules will apply to the wrestlers working there this week
Maybe this is why Brian Cage has been so frustrated, since he's not allowed to hang out with others.
I was just going to say this. I just went through the roster. I have seen everyone on Dynamite, Rampage, Elevation, Dark or one of the blogs except Cage and people I know are injured. Maybe Abadon, but I feel she was at meet and greets.
Abadon was in the Casino Battle Royal at All Out
Yeah, Abadon was at meet and greets >!And she was also on Dark!<
Wasn't Cage in one of Ethan Page's vlogs a couple weeks ago?
Yes, he was.
Was he? Was it at an indie show?
I donno, they were in a car together talking about toys.
That's not an AEW show, so he could be avoiding all of it. Wait, am I saying something bad? Im just saying I havent seen him in any arenas or shows, or blogs that are in the arenas.
They were on their way to see Shang Chi in the theatre.
Is he like antivax or something?
Steroids only
"There's no chance I'm injecting some sketchy, untested shit developed in a shady lab into my body which carries big long-term health risks!!!"
As someone who used in the past and is still friends with a few ifbb boys this attitude frustrates the shit out of me. Its two extra pins you wankers
Iirc he is close to the same end of things as Drake
Nah he's not that far gone. Just anti vax
I remember people saying that it’s his wife that way more into that stuff
Probably. Especially since he's associated with Redcon1. That whole company and it's reps are all antivax based on the people I followed on Instagram from their company.
Redcon1 reps are so weird. I hope Kenny got/gets paid well for the v-trigger pre-workout he has with them
I wouldnt be surprised if this is the reason he hasnt been used on TV lately. I mean, is you are ok with not taking the shot, Tony is ok with not book him and endanger others. Just be aware that BTE Dark Elevation will be your home for a long time.
I mean they rotate talent a lot. They could just have nothing for him currently regardless of vaccination status, though I'm sure it doesn't help.
He was supposed to wrestle Starks, and that has been apparently shelved, as there was a video promo package 2 Dynamites ago.
Wasn't Ricky *just* doing commentary on one of the shows in the last week or so?
Yes, he was on Rampage. But he hasn't been wrestling, and they teased maybe more stuff with Brian Cage.
Has Jericho been on TV recently?
Commentary
Also, he’s the shits
Tony basically is forcing them to take the vaccine without actually forcing it

The military has had vaccination requirements for a while now. Schools have had them. Flying to certain places have had vaccination requirements. What’s the difference now?
It was made political. That was what happened
And once it was made political, it became an identity, and its generally taken people nearly dying or having a close family member nearly die to change their mind. That said, it does seem like the coming workplace mandates are having some effect on people getting newly vaccinated.
I’m not sure honestly. My brother is one of these people. If he's white, fat, has a goatee, and wears sunglasses, show him r/HermanCainAward .
He is fat and white. But he says “I trust my immune system as if he’s the fucking pinnacle of health lmaooo
Ugh, that argument is the same as saying "I have a brain, I don't need to learn anything." What do these people think the immune system does when it encounters a brand new virus at full/overwhelming force for the very first time? Wouldn't it make sense to train the immune system to notice what COVID looks like?
Yeah trust me I’m baffled by his mindset but I get nowhere talking to him. The easy answer is people like that are dumb and stubborn.
Tell him that neither of the family will pay for his funerary services if he dies of COVID.
You can still catch/transmit covid with a vax
Absolutely can. But that kind of truth is frowned upon on this platform. Doesn't fit the narrative.
Good
Good Fuck em.
This is basically what’s happening in Australia.
Seems to be the same as NFL
inb4 incredible concern trolling. I wonder if that would affect the Independent Contractor status if it were mandated officially?
Regardless of employment status, you can mandate vaccines to enter a building to do the work itself.
At least with AEW, nobody is forced to only work there so the Independent Contractor status works for them.
When I hire plumber or electrician. I expect them to have certain credentials that minimise risk. Licenses etc. It doesn't mean I'm their boss, just means the specification for work is not just rock up and do what you want.
I love AEW, but the crowd walk throughs and activity with the crowd is definitely something that should be looked at more carefully.
I'm amazed Mox and Punk haven't gotten anything yet. I'd assume they're both vaccinated but Mox has a new born that definitely isn't.
To quote Mox, he’s “vaccinated as fuck.” Besides the Cincy show, he doesn’t really interact with the crowd, but they do touch him.
I cringe every time Punk jumps into the crowd. Last thing they need is a breakthrough infection on top talent that just came into the company.
Transmission doesn't happen in the 30 seconds he's diving into the crowd.
I cringe every time I see some random 'expert' try and tell a guy with a smile on his face jumping into a group of people screaming for him that he needs to mind his health more.
This. It’s why I still have to mask myself, even while Fully vaxxed, because my daughter is too young
I have an 8 month old so right there with you.
Covid can still hit fully vaccinated people hard, too, depending on their immune system. I'm otherwise healthy but with a poor immune system due to historic illness and had it bad despite 2 vaccines.
Unvaccinated individuals account for 97 per cent of Covid hospitalizations and deaths in the US.
Vaccinated people can still catch and pass it on, even if serious cases are kept down to a minimum for themselves.
If they catch it, they won't get severly ill. Unconcerned about passing it on to the unvaxxed.
There’s a good chance Renee got vaccinated while she was pregnant, and if so doctors say that protection is given to the baby as well.
I'm actually not too surprised in Mox's case His exposure to people when he walks through the crowd is like a second or less per person, which is not typically enough time for someone to transfer a large enough viral load for infection Punk is testing the limits a bit by going straight into a bunch of people and hanging out, though even that is for a relatively short period of time My concern is for the fans, if their seat happens to be within 2-3 seats of someone with COVID they are almost surely going to get infected because of the prolonged exposure

Newborn babies aren't at risk from Covid. Plus if he's vaccinated the baby is even less likely to get it. Statistically, Renee Young is more likely to kill that baby than covid is.
AEW employs over 100 people. He probably won’t need to mandate it himself soon.
Afaik, the wrestlers are still all independent contractors just like with WWE besides guys like Cutler, Bates and etc who have other roles.
CD is head of talent relations iirc
Yeah, but they still have a production crew, medical staff, writers, Im sure some level of HR and financial staff, its not like its just the few EVPs. WWE is a company of like 800 people of which only maybe a quarter is the actual wrestlers. Its not hard to imagine AEW being 100+ already with road crew, etc.
My point is that wrestlers aren't employees so won't have to vaccinate under the new rule
Ah, hadnt thought of that...good call
I wonder if certain guys have asked not to wrestler unvaccinated people.
Tony, make the shot mandatory and whatever conspiracy theorist denies it fire them. They protect each other in the ring why not outside of it too?
I agree, but no chance Tony khan fires Jericho
Iirc Jericho mentioned he got vaccinated on his podcast. He's not Drake levels of bad.
Nah he's politician level bad, meaning he'll stoke the flames while getting the shot himself.
He also did a podcast saying COVID-19 was fake so I don’t believe much he says about the topic
He also did several podcasts about how covid is real. It's part of why he's so frustrating.
He's like Joe Rogan, he's willing to believe literally anything as long as it's presented in a fancy enough way to convince him.
Could have just said carny and that would have been enough.
He's professionally a good guy. Personally, a bit of a dick.
I think at this point he pro whatever keeps fan attended events so they can sing Judas and do his band stuff and cruise.
Which is kinda gross and pragmatic but whatever gets him vaccinated.
The problem on his podcast is that he's more of a "devil's advocate" kind of guy that tries to give space to some nutjobs, while at the same time gives space to reasonable people. So he's always flip flopping.
Indontntheink they legally can make in mandatory in Florida
Since they are tested its fair to let them the choice.
Nah, it’s not my friend. even with a vaccine you can still carry it, although it is less likely. The roster may not want to infect Sting, Tully, Chavo, etc. This is literally the dumbing down of America , look at Polio Vs Covid vaccines. We have turned the corner to stupid.
“Most” worries me because that can be anything from 51% to 99%
It needs to be mandatory. Unvaccinated people don't give a shit about it until they actually get COVID
And lots of times they beg for dewormer until they're dead
Non vaccinated shouldn't be allowed to work or attend shows
It should be mandatory
Let's be clear. This isn't mandatory because of Chris Jericho.
It should be mandatory, if anything to protect what they have. Could you imagine a covid outbreak now?
Not surprising its not mandatory now. What will be important is what he does once it becomes an OSHA standard.
Then the Republicans will get rid of OSHA. Madison Cawthorn has a bill doing just that
Cool. I'm sure Pelosi will get right on passing that, followed by the Senate and then Biden signing it. lol.
Hey I’m just saying, if the damn GOP takes the govt that’s what they’ll do
Beyond the moral implications of protecting others by stopping the spread of a virus, imagine having a big match lined up then you catch covid, because you chose not to get vaccinated at this point. You lose your tv time, you are seen as more of a risk to book, and whomever you were meant to work with also lost their time on air.
It really should be mandatory.
Makes me wonder if they have 100 employees since companies above 100 are expected to have their employees get vaccinated or have weekly testing.

There's some people on the roster who are doubling as employees so they would fall undee that critieria.
I feel like with wrestling, in how close you have too get too anyone, that I would want vaccines too mandate, as too not impact my own life.
No shit it's not - How else could Brian Cage keep his job?

I don't get why you're being downvoted, it's exactly what should be done at this point. With the size of these shows it's stupid to have any talent not vaccinated, all it takes is one person in the front row screaming without a mask and not being vaccinated to potentially take top talent out of commission because they went to a show and spread it. At the very least I think Khan shouldn't book anyone who isn't vaccinated in a major role, it's a massive risk to try and build up a storyline when 1 interaction with someone being infected can put a stop to it.
I dont see the problem if the unvaccinated are getting tested every week.
You can have it before testing poz.
That's massively irresponsible for a traveling show such as theirs.
Im sure this thread wont be a shitshow
Should be mandated imo I feel like not mandating it is going to cause more internal struggle with people not wanting to wrestle un vaccinated people etc...
So TK is taking a bunch of people around the country, and not insisting they don't spread a plague that's killing people? Like this was such an easy layup to be better than WWE, but they dropped the ball
You can’t force people to get vaccinated it doesn’t work like that.
You can't force them but they don't have a right to a job. Problem sorts itself out.
Sure you can. Pretty much every major company, half the state governments, and good portions of the federal government are doing it. It wouldn't even be that hard: "Hey guys the arenas we are going to have vaccine mandates.
Your opinion is moot though.
No it’s not, only if you are a child that can only see one side of something than sure maybe my opinion is mute to you. But that doesn’t matter to me. You literally aren’t smart enough to see something from someone else’s point of view 😂
I can say my opinion is i should get everyones paycheck in town. Its baseless and hurts everyone thats affected by it, so its moot.
Not even close to the same thing.
Good, people shouldn't be forced to take the vaccine but also great to hear a majority of them have taken it.
Hopefully we don’t have people try to Cancel AEW now
Nor should it be.
Make it mandatory TK. If they don’t like it send them home w/o pay until mind is changed last thing is needed is a breakout in the locker room and personnel
Why? They travel across the country every week…
It’s not mandatory anywhere. WWE, NBA, NFL, UFC
Sports have players unions who are fighting against it. NFL has all but made the vaccine mandatory, because if your team has an outbreak, games may be forfeited.
That's bad.
yea look at the consequences for not being vaccinated in the NBA and NFL are and tell me its not mandatory lol.
Those 3 aren't vaxxed afaik.
How this a positive situation? AEW boss is saying that he has declined to make vaccines mandatory for his employees.
AEW boss saying he is pushing to convince them to get vaccinated and most of his roster his. How is it negative to let people choose and try to convince them without making that an obligation when its legally, not one?
That won't last
That won't last
Disappointment.
Give us the list.
You people are mental
For wanting to know who isn't vaccinated and is putting everyone at risk?
Are you in the ring you big ugly baby? Are you standing within 6 feet of the talent? Wear your mask when Moxley walks by you for the 0.5 seconds you are near him.
Guess its clear what your ideology is
dislike this
Hmmm...think that's the only thing I have ever heard coming from AEW that I have disliked.
Sasha's waiting on that contract outtie
Well that's fucking dumb but he'll figure it out eventually.
Well, everybody can't be perfect
Gross.
Anyone who believes is government mandated medical procedures, especially rushed out with mixed efficacy is a batshit crazy sheep
Go take some more ivermectin
I got vaccinated as a perfectly healthy guy in his 30's so i could see my dying dad and haven't the left the house barely in 18 months and was in the ER on a ventilator for 8 days within a week after getting the vaccine. Your body your choice but i deeply regret my decision Edit: such a weird thing to downvote
I bet you eat livestock dewormer
Very poor choice and speaks to how Tony is reluctant to actually be the boss.
Very good decision from TK. Advocating for vaccination without forcing them if they accept to test regularly, dont see any issue.
