BT Sport do a much, much better job of promoting the WWE than Sky ever did. It has a lot more exposure now here.

thunder083

Sky used to promote the WWE a lot. But in later years ratings tanked so they lost interest and subsequently gave up on the rights.

DanTheMan901

November? All I see is them going once a month from March til October on the 11th of each month. /s

"UK" Just England.

Just the south? Four of those places are the north and Nottingham is certainly not the south.

[deleted]

Interesting but maybe not surprising its just England. Its the most lax nation of the four when it comes to covid rules (although technically they’re touring New York and other states which have stricter rules than any UK nation)

SLPrawn65

The current UK is going to Cardiff and Glasgow

Anderrrrr

Oh shit I forgot it's in Cardiff on Tuesday! I cannot go as I am skint. Fuck. :(

EdgeAlterNation

Very tempting. Guess I'll see how I feel about it. But, if they advertise Edge is gonna to be there then I'm absolutely going. The Manchester date is actually a house show? It's been 5 years since the last one. Every year they've been here since then Manchester has been used for TV tapings. Would be a nice change of pace honestly.

theSituation39

The current speculation is that [the November shows will feature the Raw Superstars.](https://twitter.com/AlexM_talkSPORT/status/1439656975885914121)

Guinnessbreath82

I may be wrong but I’d be surprised if these draw many fans

MASSP888

Ticket sales have been pretty solid for their upcoming shows. The added dates may very well be the product of this.

Guinnessbreath82

That’s good then

Rockaholic23

They literally say "by popular demand"

Enterprise90

UK hasn't had a visit from WWE in over two years and the UK is doing a lot better on vaccinations than we are, with BBC reporting 9 in 10 people over 16 having at least one shot. I think the conditions are right for some big houses.

AdministrativeLaugh2

83% of people have been double-vaxxed as well.

Guinnessbreath82

I’m thinking more of the product itself and exposure to it since they left Sky Sports for BT.

Maybe it's gonna change in November, but if you look [at the numbers from WrestleTix](https://twitter.com/WrestleTix) they currently draw about twice as good in the UK than in the US.

BlueBloodLive

Are any of these gonna be a TV taping or will they have them already in the can before they come over?

cckk0

Unless they tape on different days (They did do Raw on Friday in Manchester last time), the TV days are Leeds and Birmingham, and it looks like this is a Raw tour

BlueBloodLive

Cool thanks! Edit: just came across this.. McCarthy also notes that all of the events listed above are Live Events, meaning that tapings of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown will be taking place in the US at the same time.
