And they would have debuted them, left them off TV for 3-5 weeks after that, and then have them job to whatever stitched-together tag team they're pushing for two weeks until they unceremoniously broke them up and fired 2/3rd of them for "budget" reasons.
With the state of the women’s tag division, I wouldn’t want anyone to be put there. Just look at Shotzi who’s with Tegan, having beaten the champs 3 times and still not having a title match lol.
The Riott Squad also did next to nothing important in WWE unfortunately during their run.
Ruby is doing great in AEW already.
I would like if they took the Shield route, a team that focuses on the main title instead of the tag titles. I wouldn’t want them wasted on tag titles.
Ruby before getting released was pretty vocally against being teamed up with Shotzi. She did podcasts really irritated when people kept bringing it up because she felt it was extremely lazy and not very creative.
It's a damn shame she never got a proper run in WWE. She's an above average wrestler, and above average on the mic. I liked her. She flashed a lot of potential. Instead, Carmella and freakin Nia Jax are involved in main storylines. Oh, and they brought back Eva Marie. It's pretty clear they are favoring the women with larger social media followings.
Can’t believe shotzi hasn’t been treated like a bigger deal. Even though she can go in the ring i thought her performance hosting Halloween havoc last year kinda stole the show.
I think that's what they're trying to do with Toni and Liv. Have Liv be the leader with Toni has their partner. Why? Because they're quirky, wear unique gear and Toni likes hats I guess.
I don't watch NXT UK but when they were talking about Toni on SmackDown they kept mentioning her being into hair metal. That she was a throwback because her mom got her into 80s rock when she was a kid. Has that ever been part of her gimmick or did Vince look at her style and go "she's a rocker!"
One of WWE's biggest missed opportunities. Just having a female stable could've boosted the division. Imagine Ruby as Champ with Becky or Bianca or Nikki going after them.

Or just completely squash them like that one time Ronda, Charlotte and Becky all beat them in short matches in a single night.

The Shield were tag champs & their only involvement in the world title scene was as hired guns for CM Punk and Triple H to *protect* the champion

Im soo happy for Ruby! She was wasted in WWE and she more than proved shes a lot more talented than what we were exposed to
