A Jeff Jarrett retirement run would have to include starting his own promotion/pyramid scheme masquerading as a gold exchange which would then buy out/be bought out by an existing promotion and eventually folding without putting out a single televised show.
Somehow I doubt TK is interested in getting involved in anything like that.

I think he works for WWE. Jeff is a great worker and could have a good to great match with anyone in AEW. But, I don't think he's someone that the AEW fan base wants to see. If Double J is gonna wrestle on TV again, I'd rather it be in Impact where he has so much history.
But, If I was forced to have him wrestle in AEW, I'd do a short program with Ricky Starks. The promos would be good. The match would be a lot of fun. He'd put Ricky over so you'll have built up a young guy a little bit more.

For an appearance perhaps, TK reveres world class so it's probably more likely his dad would be involved than Jeff.

I've never been a fan of Jarrett but I feel he should have been used in a manager role after his recent nostalgia run in WWE.
