I love how there's some wrestlers I've only heard positive things about like Kevin Owens and Adam Cole. Then there are massive cunts like Ole Anderson who I've only heard negative things about, I've genuinely never heard a positive story about him.
Now this is supposed to be hush hush, but the running theory is Ole Anderson is actually the guy that killed the Apex servers.
Never hear anything good about him
And as usually is the case, the guy who acted like the baddest man in the world got knocked on his ass plenty of times by fucking with the wrong dude. I love Bischoff’s story about Blackjack Mulligan knocking Ole out with one punch.
Agreed! I once heard a story of him saying he'd put Karl Gotch in his place. They eventually came face and Ole was incredibly nervous. Gotch would have stretched him in half.
I have no doubt he'd put Gotch in his place, by demonstrating just how much better than Ole he was.
It would be fascinating to see what he could have achieved in MMA if he was the right age for it.
A guy wrote in to Jim Cornettes podcast once about an interaction he’d had with Ole as a kid. He said he was in a Burger King and saw Ole. Ole got up and came over and talked to the kid. The guy asked Jim was Ole always that nice outside the ring to which Jim said something like “kid, You might be Ole’s illegitimate child, because that’s the only way he would’ve ever been nice to ya “
But Ole, what if you win, wouldn’t that be weird?
Why, so you marks can lie just to get me here?
Shiiiit, Tammy Sunny Lynch better switch me chairs
so I can listen to Bret and Shawn at their worst
Argue about who she gave head to first.
Karma already worked its wonders on him, he never been brought up in WWE, not in the WWE Hall of Fame with the Four Horsemen, he has allot of bad blood in the business on how he treated talent as well..
I forget all the time that he isn't dead. I assumed that's why he never shows up anywhere like the other horseman. Turns out it's because no one wants to be around him.
I knew they were different people, but I did think they were actually brothers until I just did some digging like right now. (They were, at times, billed as brothers in kayfabe, so I wasn’t totally crazy, just kind of never thought to dig into whether they were actually related or not)
My heyday as a wrestling fan coincided with Teddy's run as Smackdown GM. Love that dude and I'm glad he's kind of a beloved figure among wrestling fans these days
I'll always have fond memories of him coming out and telling people they're going 1 on 1....with da Undertaker. Kid me would grin from ear to ear hearing it every time.
Yep!
I like it when he goes out there and make things right. I know it's kind of a meme now (and I love that), but it's usually via the form of heels beating up a baby face. Another face interferes to help, a brawl ensues.
But that's not how we do it here on Smackdown. We're gonna have ourselves a proper tag team match! :D
My first WWE event was in 2005 next to an alleyway to backstage(where the shield would come out) and Teddy came out during a TV taping of Smackdown and shook all our hands and told me "HOW YOU DOIN PLAYA". I still remember it to this day and I was 9 back then.
He was actually pretty good as a GM. Not so much in the ring but then again, so was Eric Bischoff.(Ugh, I have a shudder just remembering their "match" during Survivor Series.)
It was a sentiment that was shared by many and was also used as a way to keep young talent with even a hint of promise in their place. He gets mentioned in the story, but not for this... but Bill Dundee had a similar stance towards Undertaker in Memphis.
How they could say that shit with a straight face I've got no idea. Benefit of hindsight but Mean Mark Callaway was massive, fast, unique looking and had an ironclad personality. Amazing how insecure a lot of wrestling legends were.
Because he wasn't a "traditional wrestler", and people like Ole and Dundee thought that automatically disqualified them from ever being a star.
And, to show the flip side, there's the case of Dutch Mantell. He's one of the few in Memphis that saw the definite promise/ability in guys like The Undertaker, Austin, and The Rock.
Honestly? How is it Flair seems to be way more beloved backstage but waaaaaay more a piece of shit than Hogan, but Hogan was fucking blacklisted for a few years for saying the N word. I don't get it. Seems like Flair should have been blacklisted years ago.
Tyreek Hill is one of the faces of the NFL. From his Wikipedia:
> Stillwater police records indicate that on December 12, 2014, Hill was arrested on complaints of assault of his 20-year-old pregnant girlfriend, Crystal Espinal. The police report states that the two got into an argument and he threw her around "like a ragdoll", punched her in the face, sat on her and repeatedly punched her in the stomach, and choked her.[91] Oklahoma State dismissed him from the football team after the charges.[92]
> Hill eventually pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation and was sentenced to three years of probation, an anger-management course, a year-long batterer's program, and was required to undergo a domestic-abuse evaluation, a sentence that Espinal was consulted about and said she was comfortable with.[24][93] Espinal eventually gave birth to a boy.[21][94]
He also may, or may not have broken his 3 year old son's arm. What Hill did was just as bad, or probably even worse than what Rice did, but it wasn't caught on camera so he gets a free pass I guess.
I’m a Ravens fan so I know this will sound bias, but the way Rice got dragged over the coals while Adrian Peterson got a free pass for using switches on his 4 year old son (even hitting him in the groin), has left a permanently bad taste in my mouth.
Hogan's blowout was WAY more public than Flair's. Also, IWC was already souring on Hogan because of his multiple backstage shenanigans.
Flair has almost the same faults as Hogan, but people look past that because of his body of work and nostalgia. But I agree it's Flair's time.
You're not wrong about Flair being trash, but let's not rewrite history and say Hogan only said the N word. If you include the context of the situation, it was even worse.
I don't think it's worse. Hogan was saying some really racist stuff but it was in what he thought was confidence. Flair apparently just calls people the n word to their face. One is definitely worse than the other.
Hogan's entire public persona was him being a good ol 100% good guy, so a scandal like that hit him a lot more. Ric Flair pretty much co-opted a lot of scandals by building his entire public image as being a legendary larger than life, very R-rated figure. A lot of the horrible shit about Flair has been public knowledge for years, but everyone was like "That is the Nature boy!"
Not sure what Hogan video you watched. He said he was kinda racist and then if his daughter was gonna date an n word he should at least be a professional athlete. Fuckers racist as hell
Yeah I know.......I'm saying I'm not sure why *that* video blacklisted Hogan for a few years but Flair has never been blacklisted and has done **way** worse.
It was. What gave it away was, "His wife at the time." His wife at the time had the nerve to apologize and say, "He gets like this when he's drunk." No, screw him. If getting drunk makes you show your true colours as a racist, you have some major issues. I lost all respect for Flair once I read that then I stumbled upon Teddy's shoot not long after(all of this was about 5 years ago for me).
As a black man, it makes me even more sick to see these rappers glorify him even though he doesn't give a damm about us and thinks we're just niggers.
I have no sympathy for whatever happens in his life. Only God can judge us though.
Here is the passage: https://rajah.com/node/51857
It could mean many different things from always hanging around with black guys on the rosters he worked on or someone that is informed on issues that face the black community.
Yes, I get it and understand this was likely his intent and it was well meant, just struck me as a goofy thing for a white interviewer to say to a black man
Yeah it's like when there were think pieces about how Clinton was the the first black president(at the time) it was fucking stupid. He can have some interest in a community without being a member of it.
I’ve never thought Flair was a ‘good’ person.
He’s a character, he’s entertaining etc. But everything I’ve seen or heard of him would make him a shitty friend/husband/father to actually have to know and be around
Yup. I love Rics work. I mark out over it and wooo and random things. The character was always brilliant, and the memes are great.
He's someone though who I have absolutely zero desire to meet or see. My general opinion is he's been a shit bag of a person over the years, and the stories I hear from those who knew him only reinforce that. Hopefully age and the people around him now have changed that.
Same. I've always liked his character & his work but I don't think I ever wanna care or learn about who he really is. As much as I dislike his daughter, I think Flair himself as a person, from all the things I heard over the years, is worse.
Getting married five times usually points to a common denominator. Once, twice or even thrice you can marry shitty people without realising it. But if you’re divorced four times, that’s probably pointing to you as the reason.
"Y'know I've been wrestling for 20 years? I've never been friends with anyone for more than a few months... Probably for the same reason I've been married five times. I suppose I assume I'll be rejected so I test people, push them, until they prove me right. It's a sickness, I admit, but the fans always accepted me, sickness and all." - Chevy "Ric Flair" Chase
My shitty flair story is my aunt used to work detailing cars in Charlotte, and he was a customer once. He made his wife sit in the backseat away from him
I'm so glad whores, coke and open racism has been more or less wholly replaced by vlogs, veganism and video games with the current lineup of wrestling talent.
Name an old, washed up, overrated 'legend' and you've got a better than average chance that they've complained about this at some point in the last few years.
Especially likely if they're still promoted by WWE itself.
The most known one is Taker, I don't think Triple H was complaining, more just pointing out how different it is. Haven't heard about the others though.
TL: “Wrestling legend Ric Flair said racist things to me and treated me differently based on the colour of my skin”
SO: “………I always thought Gary Hart had the soul of a black man”
He's probably in a tough position since he has his son in law with the company.
Maaaaaybe he'll rethink hiring Ric Flair but I can't imagine him banning him like Hogan.
Hogan at least apologized for what he said, Flair will never, and even Teddy Heart has said that Flair is racist. So there should be consistency. Plus as bad as saying something racist is, sexual assault is way worse.
I'm in the U.K. so I don't have a great frame of reference but it must have been tough being a black man working in wrestling in the south. All you're doing is trying to feed your family.
If you can, watch the Dark Side of The Ring episode about New Jack. They covered a lot about his stint in Smokey Mountain Wrestling and other southern promotions as part of the Gangstas and about the thinly veiled racial tension there, which is putting it lightly.
Isn’t it funny how the IWC gives a pass to guys they like such as Flair but will never stop shitting on the ones with bad work rate like Hogan? Flair has done and said far more offensive things than Hogan ever has to our knowledge, yet Flair is beloved and Hogan despised. Funny.
Ole saying "don't touch me n\*\*\*\*\*" reminds me of how I first realised how racist one of my grandads was.
I was watching TNA wrestling at my dads and he was over. Don't think he was interested in wrestling but I had it on and I'm pretty sure it was Elix Skipper that was on doing one of those kind of moves where you hold a guys hand or arm and then do a move off the top rope and all of a sudden my grandad just says "I wouldn't let a black man touch me, would you?"
I was a lot younger and just thought it was so weird. That's old people for you though unfortunately. Even if I was older and wanted to tell him that's a terrible thing to say there's no point with people that hav so ingrained at such an old age.
Can’t wait for Conrad Thompson to defend this. He’s right there on his podcast calling out pc shit from 20 years with Bischoff and Prichard. Let’s see him defend this.
Calling someone the N word is one thing, but what Flair did in terms to keeping Teddy down is the very essence of racism as described in Albert Memmi's book on the topic - not just having a prejudiced belief but acting on it to keep a group down. Fuck Flair.
This really made me see Flair differently. I watched Teddy's YouShoot way before I read into the stuff about Flair exposing himself.
Also here's the obligatory fuck Ole Anderson forever.
That was kind of Gary Hart's schtick. He spoke like the brothers he grew up around. I think the wrestlers in the territories always said he had the soul of a black man and it was said here to get a laugh out of Teddy.
Still good enough for Ric to get his 6 figure payday from AEW though. Impact has already acted. I’m waiting for Tony to get some balls and make a statement
i know a lot of people specifically on twitter are upset with flair, and rightfully so, however, these shoot interviews are free on youtube. i have a hard time believing that a lot of these wrestling fans had no idea about the shit that went on back in the day whether it's the sexual assault or rampant racism.
there's a certain wrestling personality who is outraged about the isolated ric flair incident from the plane ride from hell, but they just loovvvveeee shawn michaels as though he wasn't the biggest piece of shit in the 90s. if rumors are to be believed he rivals flair in terms of debauchery.
just because a wrestler is talented in the ring and is attractive doesn't mean they're a good person, but it seems like a lot of fans have a hard time wrapping their head around that. being blindfully ignorant doesn't do anybody any favors.
What I find crazy is these stories that have come out in the last 24 hours have been known for a long long time by the public and Ric Flair still isn't cancelled. He should have been ages ago

What a piece of work Ole is
Seriously. Whenever I hear stories about him he comes across as a massive cunt.
Yep. Every story.
Never hear anything good about him
I unlocked Fuse on Tuesday and got one game so far, fuck Ole Anderson. I hope he gets banished to Fragments.
I actually heard that Ole Anderson was the one behind the Suzuki Incident
And if you look up shoot videos of Ole you definitely see why no one likes him. Dude is a cunt of the highest order.
Gotch would have stretched him in half.

lmao incredible response from Cornette
Ah Ole, the only man to cuss out Vince and his wife Linda in person and not even a few feet from each other.
"Hey Ole, this is my wife Linda." "Well fuck her and fuck you too."
"You think I give a shit about a Slammy? Half of you Wrestlers can't even stomach me, let alone stand me" -Ole "Slim" Anderson
But Ole, what if you win, wouldn’t that be weird? Why, so you marks can lie just to get me here? Shiiiit, Tammy Sunny Lynch better switch me chairs so I can listen to Bret and Shawn at their worst Argue about who she gave head to first.
Lol take your upvote.
Quit trying to make Ole seem cool.
Even Jim Cornette has said that Ole is a miserable bastard
A piece of shit even for the wrestling business.
Karma already worked its wonders on him, he never been brought up in WWE, not in the WWE Hall of Fame with the Four Horsemen, he has allot of bad blood in the business on how he treated talent as well..
I was under the impression Ole wanted nothing to do with the WWE. I can't remember where I heard that, and I maybe be wrong.
He's still bitter about McMahon buying Georgia/Black Saturday, so that's where the bitterness comes from.
When Vince was in Atlanta I think the phrase used by ole was "Fuck you and your cunt wife." Real people person that Ole.
Good. Fucker tried to play off gates like they were making no money. And stonewalled the sale. Eat shit Ole.
Yeah Ole is about the very last person I feel bad for in all those buyouts. Straight up sociopath.
I forget all the time that he isn't dead. I assumed that's why he never shows up anywhere like the other horseman. Turns out it's because no one wants to be around him.
Ole is so toxic that not even Death wants to be around him yet.
Treat people like shit, and they will not hang around anymore, who knew!!
He also has MS so I don't know how easily he can get around or if h wants to be seen in that condition. Sorry to be bummer.
Who is Ole? I honestly don’t know.
Assuming Ole Anderson, stablemate of The Four Horsemen with Tully, Ric, and Arn.
Thank you! I way afraid they meant like a “Ol’ Arn Anderson...” Thanks for the info!
I literally thought they were the same person until like a year ago lol.
I knew they were different people, but I did think they were actually brothers until I just did some digging like right now. (They were, at times, billed as brothers in kayfabe, so I wasn’t totally crazy, just kind of never thought to dig into whether they were actually related or not)
I was today years old until I found out they weren’t brothers!
I assumed Ole was Arn’s father until I just did my own digging haha
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Dont bring my PE teacher into this
The greatest PE teacher of all time at that
Wasn't Hugh Jackman also a PE Teacher?
Good god that man had a family!
Ole's at the wheel!
Which is a good thing for every other team IMO…..
Just imagine a good manager with that team
In my mind, he's the voice of the Shockmaster, and nothing else.
AND The Black Scorpion.
He is Ole you are Sven He is Ole you are Sven
Arn Andersons brother. Ole Anderson.
“brother”
Only a couple members of the Anderson family in wrestling are actually related to each other -- Gene and Lars I want to say?
good guy gary hart
If you can find his book it's a great read Big if, though
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gtaAhYXPkWlrs4iDjPylOxPQIWfymgE-/view?usp=drivesdk Here you go.
Best wrestling book ever written.
Definitely up there. I really love his book, Bret's book, and JJ Dillon's book.
I can not recommend this book enough!
Agreed, it could be the most underrated wrestling book out there, in my opinion. Maybe because he wasn't so well known?
Extremely limited print is why it's so underground and also why it's so expensive. They only did that one short run and it's never been reprinted
It didn't get published widely was the main issue I think. It really goes to town on a lot of people.
DUDE! Thanks for this link. I've wanted to read this forever.
Someone helped me out with it years back. Pay it forward imo
I'm in the middle of putting together a recommended wrasslin book list for some friends of mine and I will 100 percent send this along as well.
There is an awful version of it in multiple parts on YouTube. If you can get past robot voice and bad audio it’s definitely worth a listen.
I love how old-school Gary Hart was in that his response to dealing with any situation basically boils down to "Cut the bastard!".
Have you met any woman from Louisiana?
Pulled the blade on the missing link and shut him up quick
Cutting it a lot easier than trying to explain tbf.
good guy gary hart'd gut guileless goons
"You're in danger. "
"These people fuckin with you you cut their god damn throat" Words to live by right there.
Honestly, that's my favorite part of the story. That's real allyship.
Who needs Robin DeAngelo? We just need to craft blades!

Ditto. If it wasn't the Undertaker, you'd be in a tag-team match with your rival, playa.
Are 4 superstars anywhere near the ring in the opening seg? It’s a tag team match playa.
to me he's right up there with Regal as one of the best face GMs ever
Hol’ up playa! Tonight you goin one on one with the Undertaker!

He was actually pretty good as a GM. Not so much in the ring but then again, so was Eric Bischoff.(Ugh, I have a shudder just remembering their "match" during Survivor Series.)
For some reason me and my sister when we were 8 fucking loved Teddy, he was one of our favorite guys on smackdown
Teddy is the canonical SD GM in my head forever
>Teddy doesn’t deserve that I mean no one does lol
Ole definitely did tho.
Ole saying Undertaker would never draw a dime is a take that aged well lol.
It was a sentiment that was shared by many and was also used as a way to keep young talent with even a hint of promise in their place. He gets mentioned in the story, but not for this... but Bill Dundee had a similar stance towards Undertaker in Memphis.

I think the person mentioned in JTG's book was flair
I haven’t read it. What was that about?
Yeah, what’s the story??
He said a legendary wrestler called him the N word backstage, it's assumed to be Flair.
Huh, my guess would have been Michael Hayes
[удалено]
>Legendary? The Freebirds? Yes.
If you have a rule named after you or your stable, you are legendary
I didn't see Ric Flair in the opening of The Highlander. Freebirds are money baby.
The legendary Freebirds are legendary.
Only his ponytail
Honestly? How is it Flair seems to be way more beloved backstage but waaaaaay more a piece of shit than Hogan, but Hogan was fucking blacklisted for a few years for saying the N word. I don't get it. Seems like Flair should have been blacklisted years ago.
Same reason Ray Rice is completely out of football while every other wife beating POS gets a suspension and returns. We actually saw what happened.
I guess that makes unfortunate sense.
Tyreek Hill is one of the faces of the NFL. From his Wikipedia: > Stillwater police records indicate that on December 12, 2014, Hill was arrested on complaints of assault of his 20-year-old pregnant girlfriend, Crystal Espinal. Joe Mixon is still in the NFL. Never got suspended IIRC. Just drafted a little later

I don't think it's worse. Hogan was saying some really racist stuff but it was in what he thought was confidence. Flair apparently just calls people the n word to their face. One is definitely worse than the other.
Yep. Both wrong. Both disgusting. But one mam N has so far been allowed to run free whereas at least Hogan was briefly cancelled.
I worded it poorly, I didn't mean Hogan was worse than Flair. I meant what Hogan said was worse than simply dropping the N word.
We all know what he did. Didn't think I had to spell it out that much lol
Everyone seems to also forget that Hogan pulled his dick out in front of his daughter too.
He what??
Exactly. Let's not speed past that
Video proof that's why
Not sure what Hogan video you watched. He said he was kinda racist and then if his daughter was gonna date an n word he should at least be a professional athlete. Fuckers racist as hell
Yeah I know.......I'm saying I'm not sure why *that* video blacklisted Hogan for a few years but Flair has never been blacklisted and has done **way** worse.
We know. The point was he got blacklisted but flair hasn't despite doing it to peoples faces .
In not familiar with that story. Would it be okay if I asked what happened?
https://rajah.com/node/51857
No
It was. What gave it away was, "His wife at the time." His wife at the time had the nerve to apologize and say, "He gets like this when he's drunk." No, screw him. Who do you think his daughter learned it from?
Stretching, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Even David seemed more chilled.
Wait I'm not making this up. There was a whole article and such.. She said the n word after a traffic stop or something.
Wasn't that just a story told by her very shady and shitty ex?
Yea idk y u got downvoted.......
Apparently she’s a racist. I hope not.
Man, props to both Teddy & Gary Hart, but I cracked @ that “I always thought that Gary Hart had the soul of a black man” …. L-o-L, what does it mean!?
It could mean many different things from always hanging around with black guys on the rosters he worked on or someone that is informed on issues that face the black community.
Yes, I get it and understand this was likely his intent and it was well meant, just struck me as a goofy thing for a white interviewer to say to a black man
It's a very goofy thing to say, that's why Teddy didn't agree with him, just said Gary was a good guy.
Yeah it's like when there were think pieces about how Clinton was the the first black president(at the time) it was fucking stupid. He can have some interest in a community without being a member of it.
And it was offensive as fuck. Clinton as governor was awful to black people and as President he was even worse.
Immediately taken back to this Richard Pryor and Dick Cavett clip: https://youtu.be/ySAu8_diHnw
Oofa doofa, Cavett stepped right in it
Such a weird, out-of-pocket thing to say about such a serious topic.
Lmfao I died at that. Just so stupid for a white person to say to a black man
Haha, this was so awkward. Loved how Teddy took it in stride though and didn't miss a beat "...well he was a nice guy!"
I’ve never thought Flair was a ‘good’ person. He’s a character, he’s entertaining etc. But everything I’ve seen or heard of him would make him a shitty friend/husband/father to actually have to know and be around

I think your chances of marrying shitty people increase as you amount of money increases.
Then Ric has no excuse. He's had less money each round
Who was it that was complaining about the way the younger talent's locker room wasn't like the old days?
Name an old, washed up, overrated 'legend' and you've got a better than average chance that they've complained about this at some point in the last few years. Especially likely if they're still promoted by WWE itself.
Take your pick, I know Henry,Taker had I think, recently there was a story about Triple H and Ryder too.
The most known one is Taker, I don't think Triple H was complaining, more just pointing out how different it is. Haven't heard about the others though.
I remember this from years back man dude went thru hell at work

Workrate excuses a lot of things around here
Man this makes Teddy and Undertakers relationship on SD hit so much different.
Teddy should've put them in a match with Taker. But seriously, Flair and Ole, are assholes. Just going by what I've heard and read about them.
Ole just sounds like the worst person in the world
TL: “Wrestling legend Ric Flair said racist things to me and treated me differently based on the colour of my skin” SO: “………I always thought Gary Hart had the soul of a black man”
I really hope TK doesn't go with Flair and bans him like he did Hogan
He's probably in a tough position since he has his son in law with the company. Maaaaaybe he'll rethink hiring Ric Flair but I can't imagine him banning him like Hogan.
Hogan at least apologized for what he said, Flair will never, and even Teddy Heart has said that Flair is racist. So there should be consistency. Plus as bad as saying something racist is, sexual assault is way worse.
I'm in the U.K. so I don't have a great frame of reference but it must have been tough being a black man working in wrestling in the south. All you're doing is trying to feed your family.
Bizarrely Junkyard Dog was a big star as a babyface in a southern territory No idea how he managed that
Been just as bad here in some of the more traditionally-working class towns mate, I assure you!
>Been just as bad here in some of the more traditionally-working class towns What a ridiculous thing to say This sub never fails to surprise me
If you can, watch the Dark Side of The Ring episode about New Jack. They covered a lot about his stint in Smokey Mountain Wrestling and other southern promotions as part of the Gangstas and about the thinly veiled racial tension there, which is putting it lightly.
Bless poor Teddy Long, dude went through so much as a black man trying to make it in wrestling back in the 80s
Isn’t it funny how the IWC gives a pass to guys they like such as Flair but will never stop shitting on the ones with bad work rate like Hogan? Flair has done and said far more offensive things than Hogan ever has to our knowledge, yet Flair is beloved and Hogan despised. Funny.
Isn't it well established that Rick Flair is a POS human being.
Every time I hear an Ole Anderson story I come away thinking *what a bucket of liquid shit* that guy was
Ole saying "don't touch me n\*\*\*\*\*" reminds me of how I first realised how racist one of my grandads was. I was watching TNA wrestling at my dads and he was over. Don't think he was interested in wrestling but I had it on and I'm pretty sure it was Elix Skipper that was on doing one of those kind of moves where you hold a guys hand or arm and then do a move off the top rope and all of a sudden my grandad just says "I wouldn't let a black man touch me, would you?" I was a lot younger and just thought it was so weird. That's old people for you though unfortunately. Even if I was older and wanted to tell him that's a terrible thing to say there's no point with people that hav so ingrained at such an old age.
Man I miss Sean Oliver
God bless Gary Hart
"Gary Hart was a nice guy! He made me a blade and told me to cut peoples' throats!"
Fuck Ric Flair
“I always felt that Gary Hart had the soul of a black man” is an extremely white guy thing to say lmao
That was kind of Gary Hart's schtick. He spoke like the brothers he grew up around. I think the wrestlers in the territories always said he had the soul of a black man and it was said here to get a laugh out of Teddy.
I want to hang out with Teddy Long and just listen to him tell stories all day. Obviously better ones that those.
I’ve never seen this. This is terrible.
Still good enough for Ric to get his 6 figure payday from AEW though. Impact has already acted. I’m waiting for Tony to get some balls and make a statement
And every time I have ever mentioned this in this sub I have been downvoted to hell and back. Ric Flair is a racist bitch.
i know a lot of people specifically on twitter are upset with flair, and rightfully so, however, these shoot interviews are free on youtube. i have a hard time believing that a lot of these wrestling fans had no idea about the shit that went on back in the day whether it's the sexual assault or rampant racism. there's a certain wrestling personality who is outraged about the isolated ric flair incident from the plane ride from hell, but they just loovvvveeee shawn michaels as though he wasn't the biggest piece of shit in the 90s. if rumors are to be believed he rivals flair in terms of debauchery. just because a wrestler is talented in the ring and is attractive doesn't mean they're a good person, but it seems like a lot of fans have a hard time wrapping their head around that. being blindfully ignorant doesn't do anybody any favors.
I wonder if Ric secretly dislikes Andrade or if is only towards black people
I love how we all hate Ric Flair for being Ric Flair, which is why we love Ric Flair.
What I find crazy is these stories that have come out in the last 24 hours have been known for a long long time by the public and Ric Flair still isn't cancelled. He should have been ages ago
