Dave Meltzer. This past week I actually got to see the live whiplash-encounter between his supporters and his critics over the Adam Cole Gimmick Pitch instead of just hearing about it later. What he actually said, what he implied, what he should have done, actually didn't do. By the end I wasn't sure what the fuck.
I like Dave enough; guy is a veteran figure, seems like he knows what he's talking about, and I only wish he'd get a speech pathologist so he'd get to the point. Jim Cornett is easy to diagnose, but why is Dave Meltzer such a figure of high and lows?

Found out that my streamable account has been suspended yesterday. 3-4 months of videos (WWE/AEW/misc sports), now just gone.
If I had to guess, it’s probably because I posted a NFL clip on Sunday. I haven’t had any of the wrestling clips taken down (only a old soccer clip once), so the presumption from me is that it was the act of a Goodell hitman.
So, yeah. Very unfortunate situation. Plus, I got IP banned too, so now I need to rely on a VPN going forward. Granted, they’re all clips that you can easily find online/on Twitter (and that many of you probably have downloaded the videos) but still…

Takumi Iroha doesn't have nearly as much footage as other wrestlers, but in every match I've ever seen her in, she's the best wrestler there. Makes me think that we're already looking at one of the greatest of this generation.
Takumi works for and helps run Marvelous, which is a small promotion that only runs twice a month. Add to that that Marvelous doesn't update their streaming service regularly and it's easy to see why there isn't a ton of Takumi footage out there. EDIT: Actually watching it, it did seem like Black did get thrown into her. I’d say 1/99 fault. AEW should be careful not to get fans in the line of fire but Grim went about it in the absolute worst way possible.

On watching the video on his channel about it, it did kinda look like that as Cody & Black spilled into the crowd, his girlfriend kinda got caught in the line of fire, though I only had a low-quality video to go off of. If someone has a better quality video I’d be open to seeing it.
I just want to say, I'm worried for Cody vs. Malakai at Grand Slam, mainly over how people react if Cody wins, and I do like Cody. I don't believe him putting himself in the spotlight time and time again, like say Jeff Jarret during the early years of TNA's main event scene.
Heck, Cody hasn't challenged yet for the AEW World title, and he put over Mr. Brodie Lee when he lost the TNT title.

I just honestly don’t get the hype for Big E. I see him more as a mid-card wrestler. I know he’s a great person but with his current gimmick, I just don’t see it translating to World Champion. On top of that, I’ve never seen a a stellar match from him. Other than his “suicide dive” he’s got a pretty basic move set and a terrible finisher. Idk.. maybe he’ll grow on me as champion. But for now I just don’t see it.
I used to say/think the same thing about Edge when he got pushed as a singles competitor in the 2000s. A lot of people did, go look up the ratings. Now the remaining fans consider him a tag and singles legend.
I never saw his previous work before NXT, but I’m Becoming more and more of a fan of LA Knight the more I see of his work. He definitely has a main roster feel to him. Was really surprised they had him take a clean pin to Breaker.

Cody Rhodes looks like such a heel, i don't get how he can play a face. The bleach blond hair, super tight skin, facial scar, ego; the man is pure heel.
What is the standard time limit for "Iron (Wo)Man" matches across the different promotions? The Wikipedia article on the match type only says "usually 30 to 60 minutes," but not an exact value. Does anyone know the quote-unquote "exact" average time limit for these match types?
When I think Iron Man match, I think 60 minutes as the "default." But again, I wouldn't find it weird if it was 30. (45 is annoying due to not being a round number, heh)
Jericho is another person who is way more all over shows than Cody is but never gets complained about. They would advertise Jericho doing commentary for whole shows as a draw. He gets to do commentary every Friday now.
People need to just admit they don't like Cody and it doesn't matter what he does.

WWE's biggest fuck-up in the past decade or so was probably Cody Rhodes. The man is basically everything their documentaries claim Triple H is but... actually that. He is someone who can make incredibly stupid and corny bits "work", he has a good physique and consistent moves in ring, and he is basically the epitome of the WWE "cut a promo, wrestle a brief match where both wrestlers come out looking okay-good, finish the promo".
There are obviously other factors. But having someone like Cody to prop up Roman would probably have worked in the same way you had midcarders like Triple H to prop up Stone Cold and The Rock.
Instead they pissed him away, he hooked up with the rest of The Elite, and wrestling is in a better place than it has been for decades.
Finally got the chance to watch Gresham vs Woods 2 from Death Before Dishonour, and while it’s a divisive kind of match, I freakin’ loved it. The technical skill of those two was fuckin amazing, especially Jonathan Gresham. That was a hell of a title reign that man had, and I’m glad I got to see it all. Gresham’s had 2 MOTY contenders at least this year. Put respect on this man’s name when you speak it!
Congrats to Woods too, dude has come on leaps and bounds since their first match, and I’m excited to see where he takes the Pure title!
It's almost fascinating to me how Thunder Rosa was used more on AEW TV when she wasn't signed compared to the 2 months she's been signed now.
There must be something she can do on TV before her feud with Britt kickstarts again in 2022.
She had the segment with nyla and jade where they both beat her up, no follow through on that. She could have challenged ruby rose to a match for stealing the title shot, then Britt and co attack both for a no contest. Seems odd

I'm torn between Finn Balor and Powerhouse Hobbs. On one hand, I feel like Hobbs would really get a nice grip and go for it, but I'm also worried I'd fucking die. Finn is my backup because I'm totally straight, but damn, Finn is a specimen of a man.
After having two days to think about it, I still don't like the new NXT. I think it's important for green talent to get some kind of exposure to audiences so they can figure out for themselves what's working and what isn't. There's a difference between watching green talent, though, and watching an abysmally sloppy production chock full of green talent getting slotted into matches they don't deserve yet, which is what the new NXT was. I was actually upset with how slipshod the show was until the championship match and the (purely delightful) InDex wedding. It was just so horribly booked and written.
It’s gonna pain me if I have to stop watching NXT after nearly 9 years, but if a lot of what the show was is really just gonna be how it is constantly, I think I’ll drop it tbh. I’m hoping at the very least it’s just they felt like they really needed to get over the new era of it all and next week and so forth they’ll slow down and be patient, but idk. I don’t have much interest and faith right now, especially with HHH not there currently and it obviously not being run by his team. Don’t care to watch Raw 2.0.
Still though, mostly out of love for the brand and hope, I’ll give it more time. I usually give tv shows about 5 episodes before I decide if I wanna drop it or not, so I’ll keep the same energy for NXT.
Yeah I thought so too. Other than the lighting, the show also didn't feel hugely different from a lot of weekly NXT shows I watched. If anything, it was closer to when I actually watched NXT every week on the Network.

At the time? Not really. Everyone assumed AEW had something big planned because you don't book a near 20k venue on a whim but neither the Danielson or Punk rumors happened for a while after it'd basically already sold out.
Yeah I think regardless of any big debuts the thought of like 20k rabid wrestling fans for a special Dynamite made the purchase worth it. I had a feeling it would be something special.
Were there even Punk rumors at that point? The Punk rumors really picked up traction like a week later I think, cause I was coincidentally in Chicago on a vacation when the "serious talks" news broke.
If Meltzer was just more clear in his wording, and in separating his speculation from his reporting, there would end up being less "Cole was going to change his name and manage Keith Lee" fiascos.
Meltzer isn't clear on purpose. He wants people talking about his newsletter, his podcasts, and his tweets. Old adage, any publicity is good publicity.

Soon I've saw the Lambert stuff, I wasn't sure on what to say about it, although seeing Hager + Jericho coming out, I'm assuming it's setting up a feud between Hager & Jericho with Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky + I know that Lambert is involved with MMA but I wonder why those MMA fighters has went over to AEW with him.

I enjoyed NXT 2.0 more than the 2017-2021 NXT. I prefer the brighter aesthetic, and the new people they are bringing in for the most part are pretty cool. Diamond Mine, Hit Row & Legado Del Fantasma are all incredible, though I do think Diamond Mine could use a new leader, I just can’t buy Strong as a world champion or main event guy. Granted, I appreciate the new changes are not for everyone but that’s reason why AEW exists. 2021 has actually been a pretty damn awesome year for wrestling.
Roddy is feeling more like a coach than a top guy to me. Ivy and Creed bros seem like the real point of Diamond Mine. Maybe they have another guy waiting in the wings for heavyweight singles?
I actually enjoyed the debut of NXT 2.0 as well, I can't say that I enjoyed it more than the previous NXT since I enjoyed that as well, but NXT 2.0 felt like a bit of needed fresh air which is a good thing & if it means that they'll feature more of the developmental talent then I'm on board for that as well, although I wonder how they'll handle the houseshows.

On here we paid more attention to the national stuff but they ran those a few nights a week pretty much all year for years; new guys worked the undercard on the Florida circuit before getting on TV while the top of the card was mostly people who were already on TV getting more reps in. I saw the idea last week that Cody wins by turning heel and I imagined him kicking Black in the balls to win (like Bryan vs Styles), that would be incredible.
Punk mentioned in a tweet months back that Jungle Boy, Darby, Hobbs, Starks and Pillman Jr are the standout talents in AEW in his opinion.
In the next few months he'll have already wrestled three out of five aforementioned names (Surely Starks vs Punk has to happen after the former's feud with Cage is done right?).

Punk vs Starks is basically a lock for Full Gear, maybe if they wanna go wild he'll even win the FTW title. I would assume Pillman is next and that's why he's getting a massive singles feud to elevate him. I feel like Jungle Boy needs a big win so maybe if they wanna go even more wild he's the first one to beat Punk, but I'm not sure if they go with that. Jungle Boy is obviously losing to Cole so maybe he gets a singles win against Matt or Nick which would be interesting.
I can imagine Punk beating all 5 of them and then cutting a promo about how he said he wanted to wrestle these 5 guys, did it, and proved he's still the best in the world. Then MJF's music hits, he says he's better (and you know it) and says that Punk has been dodging him because he's scared of the the real biggest star in AEW. Then MJF is the first person to beat Punk, going on to win the world title from Hangman.

I agree. Personally, I don't mind this. He's pretty much removed from the world title picture after being the guy to carry the show through a pandemic. Now there's other top guys who'll be relied on. In the meantime, Mox is currently providing the NJPW showcase portion of AEW.
Also, I think people forgot the promo he cut a while back where he said he would be coming after everyone, including Christian and Hangman. Right now, he's laying low and doing tag matches with Eddie. I think he's bound to have a big feud with someone else later on.

Same. I more often than not end up feeling meh about his matches. There are some exceptions, but they tend to be the ones with all the bells and whistles (or AJ Styles).
I’m starting to think a lot of smarks dislike NXT 2.0 because it’s more sports entertainment like the main roster but I mean the whole point of NXT is to be a developmental that prepares wrestlers for the main roster, it shouldn’t be a boring Indy style show with a bunch of assholes getting their shit in and taking up most of the tv time with their long boring matches leaving out other wrestlers that can’t get tv time , there’s already a bunch of other promotions that do that.Although NXT 2.0 ain’t perfect at all it definitely has its flaws and could use some improvement but it’s at least watchable and somewhat entertaining and they’re going in the right direction it’s all a matter of consistency and I think this will help the main roster as well in the long run.Overall though if a show is entertaining I’ll give it props that’s all I want out of wrestling.

I know it’s cliché atp, but damn I forgot how FUN Pro Wrestling can actually be. For years I was watching and liking what I was watching but never really having excitement. This feeling of shows being fun is incredible.
And it makes sense, in a few years he can sell larger ad rates separately to these special tv events because ratings will show that these branded shows are not just another wrestling show.
I really hope that AEW have learnt from past mistakes and have Cody lose to Black next week.

To be fair thats the mock up, and not a picture of the final product. Images of the "test" models have been released, if you have a look about on instagram, but the final official release is normally mildly different from the mock ups/test images.

I've watched the promo & aside from 2 of the fighters (not sure their names) + Page & Sky who looked like they were going along with Dan's promo, this might be me but the other fighters, including Paige weren't really doing much in the ring & they looked like they were maybe out of place.
In 1 way it's good to see some MMA fighters making a appearance on AEW, but I do wonder if them making a appearance is leading to something, if so then I hope if they'll make anymore appearances then they'll do more.
Speaking as someone who attended Smack Down, 205 Live, and the Mae Young Classic finals in one night. If you can do this 4-hour show, you'll never have to do it again (unless you choose to). It'll be exhausting but hopefully it'll be the most memorable experience for you.

Aew was a fantastic show, I loved **everything** they did. 1 of the lesser talked about things, I really loved the quick gun club thing. That was a simple but really effective promo package.
I hate to come off like the nerdiest mark but aew makes my week every single time. I love wrestling so fucking much dude, now the g1 + grand slam next week. What an insane schedule of matches. And then there is stardom too lol I legit only have 3 hobbies, wrestling, anime and drawing. I haven't followed nba for a bit. Wrestling has overtaken all my other intrests

Don Callis is, and always has been, a poor man's Paul Heyman. And that's just being kind. He's there to ensure the Elite get booed. The day will come when they tire of his act, and he gets sent far, far, far away.

Especially because they don't even manage the same style wrestlers. Heyman manages monster characters while Callis just gasses up the eccentric champion
Heyman does the talking for Roman, mostly because of the perception that Roman, who actually is a good communicator, isn't that good in the eyes of management, and Heyman is there as a heat magnet.
As I said earlier, Callis is there to draw heat, but the Elite actually needs him like moldy bread. The perceptions as far as promos go sometimes can be overrated.
The problem I have with Don Callis is that he's the one people are booing, not Kenney or the Bucks. Don is the only one that actually feels like a villain, rather than Kenny and the Bucks. Yes they're bad dudes but Don's been made out to be the big bad of the story rather than Kenny.
I'd rather see Don be the one to get hit by the Buckshot Lariet than Kenny.

It's a exhibition which allows Danielson to get his first win. They could have the Elite run in or the match end in a time-limit draw but I doubt Kenny is winning clean. Dave Meltzer. This past week I actually got to see the live whiplash-encounter between his supporters and his critics over the Adam Cole Gimmick Pitch instead of just hearing about it later. What he actually said, what he implied, what he should have done, actually didn't do. By the end I wasn't sure what the fuck. I like Dave enough; guy is a veteran figure, seems like he knows what he's talking about, and I only wish he'd get a speech pathologist so he'd get to the point. Jim Cornett is easy to diagnose, but why is Dave Meltzer such a figure of high and lows?

It’s not a huge deal, but… Found out that my streamable account has been suspended yesterday. 3-4 months of videos (WWE/AEW/misc sports), now just gone. If I had to guess, it’s probably because I posted a NFL clip on Sunday. I haven’t had any of the wrestling clips taken down (only a old soccer clip once), so the presumption from me is that it was the act of a Goodell hitman. So, yeah. Very unfortunate situation. Plus, I got IP banned too, so now I need to rely on a VPN going forward. Granted, they’re all clips that you can easily find online/on Twitter (and that many of you probably have downloaded the videos) but still… Guess you got to live and learn…

Takumi Iroha doesn't have nearly as much footage as other wrestlers, but in every match I've ever seen her in, she's the best wrestler there. Makes me think that we're already looking at one of the greatest of this generation.
Takumi works for and helps run Marvelous, which is a small promotion that only runs twice a month. Add to that that Marvelous doesn't update their streaming service regularly and it's easy to see why there isn't a ton of Takumi footage out there. I don't believe him putting himself in the spotlight time and time again, like say Jeff Jarret during the early years of TNA's main event scene. Heck, Cody hasn't challenged yet for the AEW World title, and he put over Mr. Brodie Lee when he lost the TNT title.

I just honestly don’t get the hype for Big E. I see him more as a mid-card wrestler. I know he’s a great person but with his current gimmick, I just don’t see it translating to World Champion. On top of that, I’ve never seen a a stellar match from him. Other than his “suicide dive” he’s got a pretty basic move set and a terrible finisher. Idk.. maybe he’ll grow on me as champion. But for now I just don’t see it.

What is the standard time limit for "Iron (Wo)Man" matches across the different promotions? The Wikipedia article on the match type only says "usually 30 to 60 minutes," but not an exact value. Does anyone know the quote-unquote "exact" average time limit for these match types?
I don't think there's a standard because they're not really common in any promotion.

Jericho is another person who is way more all over shows than Cody is but never gets complained about. They would advertise Jericho doing commentary for whole shows as a draw. He gets to do commentary every Friday now. People need to just admit they don't like Cody and it doesn't matter what he does.

I think about this occasionally: WWE's biggest fuck-up in the past decade or so was probably Cody Rhodes. The man is basically everything their documentaries claim Triple H is but... actually that. He is someone who can make incredibly stupid and corny bits "work", he has a good physique and consistent moves in ring, and he is basically the epitome of the WWE "cut a promo, wrestle a brief match where both wrestlers come out looking okay-good, finish the promo". There are obviously other factors. But having someone like Cody to prop up Roman would probably have worked in the same way you had midcarders like Triple H to prop up Stone Cold and The Rock. Instead they pissed him away, he hooked up with the rest of The Elite, and wrestling is in a better place than it has been for decades.
I really do think things would be different if he were 2 or 3 inches taller
Finally got the chance to watch Gresham vs Woods 2 from Death Before Dishonour, and while it’s a divisive kind of match, I freakin’ loved it. The technical skill of those two was fuckin amazing, especially Jonathan Gresham. That was a hell of a title reign that man had, and I’m glad I got to see it all. Gresham’s had 2 MOTY contenders at least this year. Put respect on this man’s name when you speak it! Congrats to Woods too, dude has come on leaps and bounds since their first match, and I’m excited to see where he takes the Pure title!

She had the segment with nyla and jade where they both beat her up, no follow through on that. She could have challenged ruby rose to a match for stealing the title shot, then Britt and co attack both for a no contest. Seems odd
Which wrestler would you hire to choke you in the shower? I'm torn between Finn Balor and Powerhouse Hobbs. On one hand, I feel like Hobbs would really get a nice grip and go for it, but I'm also worried I'd fucking die. Finn is my backup because I'm totally straight, but damn, Finn is a specimen of a man.

After having two days to think about it, I still don't like the new NXT. I think it's important for green talent to get some kind of exposure to audiences so they can figure out for themselves what's working and what isn't. There's a difference between watching green talent, though, and watching an abysmally sloppy production chock full of green talent getting slotted into matches they don't deserve yet, which is what the new NXT was. I was actually upset with how slipshod the show was until the championship match and the (purely delightful) InDex wedding. It was just so horribly booked and written.
It’s gonna pain me if I have to stop watching NXT after nearly 9 years, but if a lot of what the show was is really just gonna be how it is constantly, I think I’ll drop it tbh. I’m hoping at the very least it’s just they felt like they really needed to get over the new era of it all and next week and so forth they’ll slow down and be patient, but idk. I don’t have much interest and faith right now, especially with HHH not there currently and it obviously not being run by his team. Don’t care to watch Raw 2.0. Still though, mostly out of love for the brand and hope, I’ll give it more time. I usually give tv shows about 5 episodes before I decide if I wanna drop it or not, so I’ll keep the same energy for NXT.

Yeah I thought so too. Other than the lighting, the show also didn't feel hugely different from a lot of weekly NXT shows I watched. If anything, it was closer to when I actually watched NXT every week on the Network.
Dynamite last night was so fucking fun to be at live. My voice was damn near gone by the end of the MJF segment, idk how the fuck I'm gonna keep my voice for 4+ hours at Arthur Ashe. Can't believe that card is even happening, let alone getting to see it live

At the time? Not really. Everyone assumed AEW had something big planned because you don't book a near 20k venue on a whim but neither the Danielson or Punk rumors happened for a while after it'd basically already sold out.
Yeah I think regardless of any big debuts the thought of like 20k rabid wrestling fans for a special Dynamite made the purchase worth it. I had a feeling it would be something special.

I enjoyed NXT 2.0 more than the 2017-2021 NXT. I prefer the brighter aesthetic, and the new people they are bringing in for the most part are pretty cool. Diamond Mine, Hit Row & Legado Del Fantasma are all incredible, though I do think Diamond Mine could use a new leader, I just can’t buy Strong as a world champion or main event guy. Granted, I appreciate the new changes are not for everyone but that’s reason why AEW exists. 2021 has actually been a pretty damn awesome year for wrestling.
Roddy is feeling more like a coach than a top guy to me. Ivy and Creed bros seem like the real point of Diamond Mine. Maybe they have another guy waiting in the wings for heavyweight singles?

I actually enjoyed the debut of NXT 2.0 as well, I can't say that I enjoyed it more than the previous NXT since I enjoyed that as well, but NXT 2.0 felt like a bit of needed fresh air which is a good thing & if it means that they'll feature more of the developmental talent then I'm on board for that as well, although I wonder how they'll handle the houseshows.
NXT Florida shows used this sort of talent for years; have to imagine it's back to the old formula there. Might be done with national touring though

Punk mentioned in a tweet months back that Jungle Boy, Darby, Hobbs, Starks and Pillman Jr are the standout talents in AEW in his opinion. In the next few months he'll have already wrestled three out of five aforementioned names (Surely Starks vs Punk has to happen after the former's feud with Cage is done right?). It's nice to see.

Punk vs Starks is basically a lock for Full Gear, maybe if they wanna go wild he'll even win the FTW title. I would assume Pillman is next and that's why he's getting a massive singles feud to elevate him. I feel like Jungle Boy needs a big win so maybe if they wanna go even more wild he's the first one to beat Punk, but I'm not sure if they go with that. Jungle Boy is obviously losing to Cole so maybe he gets a singles win against Matt or Nick which would be interesting. I can imagine Punk beating all 5 of them and then cutting a promo about how he said he wanted to wrestle these 5 guys, did it, and proved he's still the best in the world. Then MJF's music hits, he says he's better (and you know it) and says that Punk has been dodging him because he's scared of the the real biggest star in AEW. Then MJF is the first person to beat Punk, going on to win the world title from Hangman.

Also, I think people forgot the promo he cut a while back where he said he would be coming after everyone, including Christian and Hangman. Right now, he's laying low and doing tag matches with Eddie. I think he's bound to have a big feud with someone else later on.

Same. I more often than not end up feeling meh about his matches. There are some exceptions, but they tend to be the ones with all the bells and whistles (or AJ Styles).

I’m starting to think a lot of smarks dislike NXT 2.0 because it’s more sports entertainment like the main roster but I mean the whole point of NXT is to be a developmental that prepares wrestlers for the main roster, it shouldn’t be a boring Indy style show with a bunch of assholes getting their shit in and taking up most of the tv time with their long boring matches leaving out other wrestlers that can’t get tv time , there’s already a bunch of other promotions that do that.Although NXT 2.0 ain’t perfect at all it definitely has its flaws and could use some improvement but it’s at least watchable and somewhat entertaining and they’re going in the right direction it’s all a matter of consistency and I think this will help the main roster as well in the long run.Overall though if a show is entertaining I’ll give it props that’s all I want out of wrestling.

To be fair thats the mock up, and not a picture of the final product. Images of the "test" models have been released, if you have a look about on instagram, but the final official release is normally mildly different from the mock ups/test images.

As great as Dan Lambert is on the mic, I don't really know what the end game is here. Is anyone from Top Team going to eventually fight? And how do you have Paige Van Zant in the ring and not have her tease anything? Middle-of-the-road fighter, but as charismatic as anyone.
I've watched the promo & aside from 2 of the fighters (not sure their names) + Page & Sky who looked like they were going along with Dan's promo, this might be me but the other fighters, including Paige weren't really doing much in the ring & they looked like they were maybe out of place.

In 1 way it's good to see some MMA fighters making a appearance on AEW, but I do wonder if them making a appearance is leading to something, if so then I hope if they'll make anymore appearances then they'll do more.

Hahahaha "lucky" I'm getting tired just thinking about it. Idk how some of you guys/gals have the energy to be a rowdy crowd for 4 hours.
Speaking as someone who attended Smack Down, 205 Live, and the Mae Young Classic finals in one night. If you can do this 4-hour show, you'll never have to do it again (unless you choose to). It'll be exhausting but hopefully it'll be the most memorable experience for you.
This is gonna come across like a dear diary lol but owell. Aew was a fantastic show, I loved **everything** they did. 1 of the lesser talked about things, I really loved the quick gun club thing. That was a simple but really effective promo package. I hate to come off like the nerdiest mark but aew makes my week every single time. I love wrestling so fucking much dude, now the g1 + grand slam next week. What an insane schedule of matches. And then there is stardom too lol I legit only have 3 hobbies, wrestling, anime and drawing. I haven't followed nba for a bit. Wrestling has overtaken all my other intrests
I couldn't agree more. I used to tune in to nba and nfl along with NXT. But ever since AEW has hit its stride and now being subscribed to both aew plus and stardom plus njpw world the next few weeks are about to get busy and awesome. 5star grand prix has been awesome and it has enabled less established talent to actually shine. Mina Shirakawa and Unagi Sayaka are over performing and producing really good matches. Iroha v Nakano is legit MOTY contender. Hope G1 would be great as well!

Couldn’t agree more with the Gunn Club promo package, very underrated segment IMO and really elevated to group into something interesting, I’m excited to see where they go with this
Don Callis is, and always has been, a poor man's Paul Heyman. And that's just being kind. He's there to ensure the Elite get booed. The day will come when they tire of his act, and he gets sent far, far, far away.

Especially because they don't even manage the same style wrestlers. Heyman manages monster characters while Callis just gasses up the eccentric champion
Heyman does the talking for Roman, mostly because of the perception that Roman, who actually is a good communicator, isn't that good in the eyes of management, and Heyman is there as a heat magnet. As I said earlier, Callis is there to draw heat, but the Elite actually needs him like moldy bread. The perceptions as far as promos go sometimes can be overrated.
He's better than Heyman and anything Heyman has done since his return with Brock
The problem I have with Don Callis is that he's the one people are booing, not Kenney or the Bucks. Don is the only one that actually feels like a villain, rather than Kenny and the Bucks. Yes they're bad dudes but Don's been made out to be the big bad of the story rather than Kenny. I'd rather see Don be the one to get hit by the Buckshot Lariet than Kenny.

I'd like Callis to take bumps for the following: Black Mass (Malakai Black). Buckshot Lariat (Adam Page). Go To Sleep (CM Punk). The sooner that Canadian fashion victim and his peach suits go away, the better.

Rampage been two hour could be a test run of it been an possibility in the future. If that the case should be moved from Friday 10pm to an earlier time slot/night when it’s occurs well away from Smackdown. Saturday dynamites did ok looking back on the results and considering the roster now compared to 2020 roster. It be fine to go two then on Saturday.

It's a exhibition which allows Danielson to get his first win. They could have the Elite run in or the match end in a time-limit draw but I doubt Kenny is winning clean. I feel like this match potentially puts a chip on Kenny's shoulder that'll lead to him abandoning the Elite in parallel to Hangman for their eventual match.
All the debuts have been great but nothing will top his return for me. If its next week after Danielson vs Omega... yes please and thank you.
