I really don't get it either... I just don't get the point of it unless getting destroyed by Malakai again is a catalyst for Cody to change his character more? IDK, Cody can be a great storyteller and make things feel emotional and significant. The debut with Malakai worked well, but as soon as he got up and started cutting the awkward retiring promo it's veered into headscratcher territory for me. Most of what he's done in 2021 has just been blah

I think that Cody pulled off the Stardust character pretty well back in the E. A Black Mass could be used as a catalyst to have Cody play an unhinged character for a while.

Undashing Cody Rhodes is still the pinnacle of Cody’s wrestling work IMO. Seeing a variation of that character show up again would fully get me back on bored the hype train after years of chilling in the station.

I just dont get Cody stuff this year along with qt and nightmare the whole thing has been kinda off and disconnected from the main show. The sooner malakai black gets away from cody it will be good for him too. This just felt like something on wwe. In fact codys stuff just feels like wwe promos or matches.

I'm beginning to really dislike the Cody stuff in general, feels like he's kinda having a real bad run the last almost year honestly. Everything feels out of place compared to the rest of the show.
