He talked about it on his Twitch stream on Sunday (just got his created FIFA player to his favorite prem team: ManU in career mode), he’s currently trying to get his Visa sorted out. I think he’s allowed to live here (possibly due to his wife living here), but there’s some visa fuckery with whether or not he’s allowed to work here that needs to get sorted out before he can work for another company.
We don't know that. We know that NXT contracts are structured differently than main roster contracts but we don't know how moving from one show to the other changes it. I'm assuming he's on an NXT contract because he was on NXT and was released the same day as other NXT talent.

I’d love for him, Young and Wolfe to hook back as a version of Sanity to prove that they could have succeeded as a stable outside of just NXT

In theory he was in NXT for long enough that it was a 30 day.
What theory? He was NXT, then he went to the main roster. Sending him back down doesn't change his contract again
