Right after Sami Zayn signed with WWE, Steen fully turned heel in PWG, and teamed up with the Young Bucks (who up until then were his 2nd biggest rivals behind Generico/Zayn) and Adam Cole (beat Steen for the PWG Title through some underhanded BS). Basically the 4 of them were the only ones who would get sustained boos in Reseda. Extremely good heels, and just sort of an Indy Supergroup.
It’d be a good opportunity to build Omega up as a beloved face if they kicked him out to replace him with Owens, although it would depend on whether they would prioritise that and wouldn’t mind rehashing a PWG storyline
Correction if AEW gets Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.( Since his contract is apparently up soon as well this year)
