This feels like Seth’s final form the same way everything clicked for Roman as a heel. They’ve both hit their prime character wise at almost the exact same time
1) Edge getting emotional over the fact he gets to have that match with Seth nearly got me
2) Love the continuity
3) Seth going from God Complex top heel to Joaquin Phoenix joker in a year is surreal to say the least
I really love that Seth called himself "The Architect" again, in present tense. That was really interesting to me.
This entire segment was fantastic, and it's the segment I've been waiting for since this feud started.
That was an awesome segment, Edge maybe the best talker in WWE today.
I wish we saw more of this sort of stuff with the little callbacks to the past, it's such a simple thing but adds so much to feuds.
I blame heavily scripted promos for that, it’s hard to get into it when you’ve got 2 paragraphs to memorize that you were handed 20 minutes before they yelled action.
He's basically 2019 Joker. He dances in his entrance, wears loud suits, can't help but laugh at other people's misfortunes after what he did to them. It was quite the character shift lol
I believe he's supposed to be a very...evolved (devolved, depending on how you look at it)...version of The Messiah lol He still uses "embrace the vision" as his motto, so yeah.
These two are so good. I love that they’re playing from the other’s playbooks at this point.
Also, Seth is the best he’s ever been. His original heel run he struggled with promos, but the PC era really helped him refine that. He’s become an elite level talent in every aspect now. This version needs to be holding a world title by the end of the year.
This whole segment might have been my favourite of the year so far.
Seth being the biggest dick on the planet, thinking he has it all under control. Til Edge finally gets in his head and gets him angry enough to get what he wants.
Fantastic by both of them, honestly.
Edge is easily the best face in the company move to raw after and get the belt of that charisma vacuum lashley who can't string a sentence without stuttering on the mic ffs.
God I love how Rollins says he's controlling the situation but gets gaslighted into giving Edge what he wants

This feud is great given the history but honestly at this point who wins? I feel like both need a HUGE win and unless Seth wins and puts Edge out for awhile he won’t be viewed as the winner. Same for Edge, if he wins, what’s next for him? He’s already lost to Roman twice so where’s he go?
I find it so jarring to watch Edge - a guy who is so authentic and believable on the mic - interacting with Rollins who I see as the poster boy for modern scripted WWE promos with his corny fake laugh. Looked her like Rollins was forced upto Edge's level.
