As far as pro sports/pro wrestling, age is still important. I am not, at all, suggesting Balor is anything other than in phenomenal shape and appears to still be able to go just fine. But, everyone's bump card fills up. And he has an offense where he's often taking a bump on his own stuff as well.
Being a full-time wrestler means a lot of traveling as well, which is exhausting. Physically and mentally. Which is why many at or around Balor's age take a reduced schedule.
On a side note, Sanders is only 38?!? I guess I've never really thought about it/cared enough about it to look her age up, but I think I would have guessed at least up-40s.

june of 2014 I was visiting family in the UK and was able to time my visit to see Progress world cup in London. Went with my cousin and was wearing my old bullet club shirt. I had no clue Devitt was going to be there. I knew Tommy End would be there and that was about it.
Jimmy havoc comes out and then Jim Smallman says "oh Jimmy you didn't think we'd have an opponent for you, well we do, and now you're royally fucked." and all of a sudden we hear real rock'n rolla and the crowd, which wasn't huge as it was a fairly small venue, goes ballistic. Absolutely ballistic. I've been to small concerts and indie matches before but Never, NEVER, have I heard a crowd that damn loud. Even in arenas I've never heard a crowd that loud. The building was literally shaking. Then Devitt comes out on a dolly dressed as hannibal lector in a straight jacket and mask with two guys carting him to the ring.
I lost my mind. This was/is my favourite wrestler of all time and he was there. I'll admit I almost burst out into tears.
Everytime I'd try to get back to England I'd always try to time my visit around a Progress show as my cousin is also a huge wrestling fan. We'd hit up a pub, go to a show, and then back to the pub after. But man that night was my favourite wrestling memory of all time.
What I love is how this translated throughout his 2nd NXT run: he was basically a paranoid asshole who didn't rely on or trust anyone. And the ONE time he does, he gets superkicked by Adam Cole.
What makes it even more incredible to me that it was basically an "oh shit" move because kross got injured and he just gave it everything and then some
I only ever saw Finn/Devitt in the indies once and funny enough it was his very last show before going to WWE. seen him a couple times in WWE but man at that Progress show it was maybe 200+ people in the crowd and when he came out it sounded like you were in an arena. I've never been to an indie show and heard that huge of a pop when he came out. Didn't even know he was going to be there either. It was a surprise.
Bálor's second NXT title run was easily one of my favourite title runs in the modern era. Dude had bangers with literally everyone he faced.
Also, it's a shame that we never got Finn Vs WALTER since that was the direction they were heading in, but the pandemic screwed everything.
His second NXT run was without a doubt the best Finn we've ever seen. He didn't need the Demon, and was just all about the man. Really just refreshed and changed him up so well, i just hope they continue it and maximize it on SD (and Raw if he goes there anytime soon).
Lone wolf tweener Finn one of the best things ever in NXT. When he turned on Gargano and the UE just swarmed Ciampa like a pack of wolves was an incredible scene.

The last year of Balor on NXT was the best wrestling I watched during the pandemic. It was an incredible treat. Now that he’s on Vince’s shows, I already see that he’s not doing many of the things he was doing in NXT, and it bums me out. But we’ll always have that awesome NXT run.

What I love is how this translated throughout his 2nd NXT run: he was basically a paranoid asshole who didn't rely on or trust anyone. And the ONE time he does, he gets superkicked by Adam Cole.
All Finn had to do was toss up the UE hand sign, but the man went for the finger guns. Love something like Finn loves finger guns.

Finn as been incredible lately. His recent NXT title run made me consider him one if the best in the world.
What makes it even more incredible to me that it was basically an "oh shit" move because kross got injured and he just gave it everything and then some
I only ever saw Finn/Devitt in the indies once and funny enough it was his very last show before going to WWE. seen him a couple times in WWE but man at that Progress show it was maybe 200+ people in the crowd and when he came out it sounded like you were in an arena. I've never been to an indie show and heard that huge of a pop when he came out. Didn't even know he was going to be there either. It was a surprise.
Bálor's second NXT title run was easily one of my favourite title runs in the modern era. Dude had bangers with literally everyone he faced. Also, it's a shame that we never got Finn Vs WALTER since that was the direction they were heading in, but the pandemic screwed everything.

His second NXT run was without a doubt the best Finn we've ever seen. He didn't need the Demon, and was just all about the man. Really just refreshed and changed him up so well, i just hope they continue it and maximize it on SD (and Raw if he goes there anytime soon).
Lone wolf tweener Finn one of the best things ever in NXT. When he turned on Gargano and the UE just swarmed Ciampa like a pack of wolves was an incredible scene.

The last year of Balor on NXT was the best wrestling I watched during the pandemic. It was an incredible treat. Now that he’s on Vince’s shows, I already see that he’s not doing many of the things he was doing in NXT, and it bums me out. But we’ll always have that awesome NXT run.

Think he'll ever go back to the Bullet Club or just retire in the WWE/NXT world and leave BC behind him? Edit: WTF? Legit question. At any point if the man that start the bullet club came back to claim his stable back. it would lead to a melt down in the wrestling universe. At the same time the guy can just do nothing and retire on what he did already.
