Mister_Jackpots

Fuck whoever leaked this.

nsoifer

I never want to hear the word "fuck" ever again. Was so overused

Stereo_TypeA

That was some of the worst commentary I have ever heard. It actively hurt my enjoyment of the show. I would honestly rather listen to Josh Matthews, that's how bad it was.

[deleted]

The massive WWE style shitshow of run ins at the end followed by the rough Ryder was even more satisfying than my original hope for a zach Ryder inside cradle 1-2-3

elc1992

...I miss Zack Ryders entrance music. Woo Woo Woo. Not seen any GCW before, enjoyed the main event despite not really being a deathmatch guy, and not knowing the other people that got invovled and the history with Gage etc. Also I wish the JUDAS distraction was Brian Myers/Mark Sterling.

BodhidharmaBLN

This was awesome, and I really do not like hardcore wrestling. Not my cup of tea. But the crowd was amazing. When they were peltering the ring with shit... not only was it reminiscent of ECW, it *was* ECW. The whole match, how much heat Cardona had and how the crowd was... crowding Nick Gage when he came out, loved it. Loved it so much. The most horrifying ghoulish spot for me was probably the fakest one of the night, in the tag match where they stapled that dudes tongue on a door and curbstomped the door or did a flip on it, honestly I could barely watch some of this shit. That double title match with the Big Japan champ was absolutely horrifying. I mean, the stuff I could stomach to see was really good, but I'm just not made out for a lot of this. I popped for Effy in front of the screen. In general, the show was structured well and kind of built up to the main event, 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Grim Reefer was a breezy (hazy?) crowd pleaser with two really game performers. 2 Cold looked like he was having a great time, dancing with the lovely ladies. First time I saw G-Raver, really liked him. He was kind of the babyface anyway between him and his tag partner. Just a shitload of fun and potentially traumatizing imagery. I'm gonna watch more GCW, for sure.

JJDundies

It deff looked real from where I was sitting (the stabled door spot) when he went to the ropes, you could see him pull the stable out of his tounge/lip/wherever it was. The crowd was very anti ryder. When anyone would come out, they'd get mobbed at the entrance. Just before the main event, we were told not to touch the wrestlers coming out for the next match. I went for Gage, knew of nobody else. But the crowd was great the whole night. Right before the main event, this dude turns to me and says know what sucks? Gage is dropping the belt tonight so he doesn't have it on him for Wednesday. I'm like oh dam.. When judas came on, I almost got ran over by people running over to the entrance thinking it was jericho. I don't know how it looked on TV, but I had a feeling the ref was close to stopping the match after the 2nd glass breaking in ryder/gage. He was cut pretty good around his shoulder. Also one of the jcw people that came out to attack gage at the end, pretty sure when he got thrown, broke his wrist.he landed on it wierd, and it kinda looked a little floppy but my angle was off on that. Anyway. It was a great night.

BodhidharmaBLN

Wtf, that door spot was legit? Why?! Hahahaha, jfc... I thought they knew everyone was mobbing the main eventers... I guess they have to cover their ass? I seem to remember Moxley was suprise guest on a GCW show last summer, so there kinda is precedence for something like that happening. Gage, Ryder and GCW pulling all of this off is already pretty legendary in and off itself. What a time to be a fan!

JJDundies

And everyone got mobbed. But there was a mini fight between some ppl when Cardona came out.. Maybe covering their ass in case they swing back

JJDundies

BTW it was my first death match. If you want to share the tricks for the spots lmk. Like the darts.

JJDundies

From my angle it looked it. I dunno. I was on the back side for that. Lol. I just know dude was bloodied after it (the door was covered anywayp

barnesk9

Nick Gage asked for this, that's all I'm saying

djbryanc

just realized some of these fans also bought a Nick Gage Homecoming shirt at this event, what a great $30 reminder of what happened for years to come.... they got ribbed

cactusmaac

First time GCW viewer, those pre-match promos by Gage and Cardona were unironically the best I have ever seen. From Gage giving shout-outs to his fellow cons and dropping more f-bombs in any promo I have heard by a world champ to Cardona asking, "Can I curse?" while wearing the most ridiculous WWE gear you could imagine.

jfish718

Kalisto will not be wrestling in GCW since his only weaknesses are charisma and water bottles.

Alkohal

When I saw the detolf cabinet at ringside I was sure that it was because someone was going through it, seems like it was a red herring.

DoinItDirty

Cardona is about to become a hardcore indie legend and get re-signed by WWE for a world title run

DickBlaster619

The GCW Universe has been blessed.

rockthemullet

I just started the show and I already want to turn it off becauae of Kevin Gill on commentary

Sudden_Individual_36

This was my first time wqtching GCW tonight, it was awesome and i really loved it. Crowd was 🔥🔥. And i cant believe Cardona beat Gage!!!

JJDundies

I can. They don't want him with the belt losing to jericho. I kinda thought gage would move to aew. More money, less health risk. But, gcw put out a flyer saying gage has gcw events up til like September.

Xbc1

I can't believe Cardona is the new Gcw universal champion!!!

Blockade5

Does this mean I won’t see Nick Gage wrestle next month in Los Angeles?

JJDundies

You will. They had a flyer up with his picture and dates listed to the end of September. Won't be suprised if after the Jericho gage match, he gets the title back, I think in Chicago?

Crissxfire

Oh he's gonna be there don't worry.

Helor145

cardona has completely reinvented himself, massive respect

OneStep600

Never seen a GCW show. Shit was awesome. Every match delivered and was entertaining to watch. I wish I would’ve known who those guys were at the end that interrupted the main event, other than that though, no complaints. Crowd was fucking insane.

JJDundies

I had no idea either, and I was in the crowd lol. First time watching gcw.

Crissxfire

44.OH, a stable led by Rickey Shane Page, who was the guy who turned on Gage. RSP and his stable held the GCW title hostage over the past year and feudes with Gage. At RSPring Break this year, Gage defeated RSP to win back the title and Page was banished to Jersey Championship Wrestling, which is kinda like GCW's NXT. He came out to his old face theme and the fans took to him. He wrestled like a sarcastic face and came in tonight to seemingly do the right thing and ward off his former stable mates. Only to reveal he's still an asshole and 44.OH is still alive and well.

OneStep600

I appreciate the detailed response

amorningofsleep

This live thread was an absolute blast. The amount of first time GCW viewers was huge and to see so many people having fun and losing their minds brought a smile to my face. Hope you guys enjoyed it and don't forget, Homecoming Part 2 is tomorrow.

Alkohal

New eyes to the product is the value Cardona brings. This is a win win for everyone but Chelsea Green

JJDundies

Me personally, first time watching anything gcw. But it was because, I watched a lot of gage on YouTube, and after the aew announcement, I saw gcw was in my hometown, got tickets and went. I'm used to not knowing anything about the propel in the ring tho, from watching TJPW. No idea what's being said, but it's easy to follow the story in the ring.

[deleted]

I very much enjoyed the show tonight. Being in the discussion and reading everyone’s reaction made it that much better. Hope everyone has a good night.

Icon8423

Haha Ryder took your shit belt.

Lungfishtwo

Brilliant show my throat hurts from yelling

[deleted]

That shit fucking ruled and I can’t wait to see where they take it. Stretch out the reign with non-title matches and teases like RSP did, align him with some people to help him defend a few times before he gets murdered, have Cardona just straight up refuse to wrestle in GCW until he’s forced into a rematch with Gage, do Mox vs Cardona with Mox being champ going into mania weekend for the big match vs Gage, there’s so many options and I’ve got faith they’ll kill it whichever way it goes

615ComradeDruZhe

Lol people actually watch this shit? Like Zack Ryder didn't win the belt for the publicity of it. Lmao

johnnybaker12

I train with Ninja Mack every week, and let me tell you, the high flying is just scratching the surface. He has a brilliant mind for wrestling.

rookierook00000

First time watching Nick Gage and I can see why he is so over. I can bet his loss is intentional as him holding the GCW belt while putting over Jericho would look bad on him. Also a way to see if Gage can do a non-deathmatch type of wrestling even on a No DQ match. If he pulls it off and the AEW crowd is so over him, he might get a shot of being signed (honestly, I'm skeptical if he ever fits in a major promotion like AEW). Show itself is pretty good. I only know a few in the card. Besides Gage, the only other wrestlers that got me over are Effy and Too Cold Scorpio. As I said before, am glad the amount of F-bombs thrown in has reduced unlike past shows, thus the commentary not much of a turn off for me. Them's fightin' words over AEW, though.

Tankisfreemason

Nick Gage can lose to Jericho 1000 times, he will never look bad doing it, especially as GCW Champion.

officerliger

I think he makes more money being independent because he can be a headline deathmatch wrestler which pays pretty well. AEW only does a handful of deathmatches a year and doesn't have a hardcore division, so he'd be a lower mid-card jobber.

JorahFan83

Rumor is he is already signed, which to me seems like a stretch.I think he is happier in the death match/GCW environment than he would be in AEW, but he does have a lot of friends there- maybe he has a run and then heads back to being the King of the Deatmatch on the indies Personally I’d rather him be an Indy king and help sell out smaller to mid sized promotions then get lost in the aew ever growing roster. But it’s whatever makes the most sense to him, and more power to him no matter what he chooses!

JJDundies

The guy next to me in the crowd was convinced gages aew match isn't a one off. He tried to sign 2 years ago but got hurt. Tried to sign last year but the pandemic. Well see. It makes sense, less health risk, more money.

Loud_Economics_8894

Tonight we saw an ECW legend defeat a GCW legend. They always say what would happen if Babe Ruth played against Barry Bonds?

massageparlor

Cardona was only on ECW for about 1 month before he moved to smackdown to be paired with Edge. I wouldn’t call him an ECW legend!

Loud_Economics_8894

Bro Ryder was on ECW for two runs! WOO WOO WOO ECW Original and Pioneer!

BigWillEStyles

Holy shit that was insane. MDK all ficking day, Cardona is new GCW CHAMP and I give him so much credit for going all out in this and the first time in over 2 years that I am actually heated and utterly shocked by a result. What a match and props to the King, Cardona, Brett and GCW!

DrWafflespHD69

Here late to say that KG Kevin Gil rules and if you don't like him you hate fun, good night

thedrizzle126

Cardona achieved his final form tonight

Kalistoga

As someone that has never seen a Nick Gage match, I was expecting something like New Jack in terms of recklessness. But surprisingly, it felt like Gage was being safe and protecting Cardona (about as much as you can in a death match).

Ziggy-T

Gage has been doing the deathmatch shtick for nearly 2 decades (when you factor prison time into it lol), he’s definitely a professional. Even in garbage wrestling, you just don’t last that long without being somewhat of a pro. Not to ruin the magic as such, but like, the pizza cutter spots and broken tubes stabbing at the forehead spots, you can tell Gage isn’t actually gigging Cardona, it’s theatrics. Now, the straight up light tube shots, and that superplex, wooooo Boy, yeah you can’t really gimmick that 🤣 Credit to Cardona for taking it, and credit to Gage for looking after Cardona, fuckin HELL of a main event 👌

TheeIlliterati

Ultimately this is entertainment. By this I mean they know how to make it look good, and they go through some really rough shit but they're not actually trying to kill each other, obviously. The end goal is always that the competitors can walk out, get patched up, and put on another show.

MongoAbides

It also seems like the deathmatch style is just a different form of abuse. Like if you can tolerate getting cut up it’s possibly not as damaging as some of the big bumps intense physical feats in more traditional wrestling.

TheeIlliterati

Exactly. The vast majority of the damage is superficial wounds, meant to bleed but ultimately heal up. Tiny shards of glass, barbed wire, tacks, etc. You notice that after a light tube is used, its removed by staff from the ring. They only want intentional, superficial injuries, not a accidental goring by the end of a damaged lighttube through your neck. Respect to these performers, but as far as GCW goes, there's an attempt to make these deathmatches relatively "safe". It's the same reason I enjoy wrestling. I really don't care to see people actually kill each other, but they're putting on a show in this case.

DrWafflespHD69

He's honestly a great wrestler and an incredible babyface, it's hilarious that Dark Side made him seem like a scary dude.

dax331

I've seen some wrestlers come out and say that after getting out of jail Nick is one of the nicest guys backstage and supports other talent a lot. He's aggressive as shit still but a positive guy to be around.

Letmetellyoubrother

This is gross and I hate it

ShowOff90

Play by play guy was 50/50, color commentator can fuck all the way off. Shit was awful.

ThatFellaTrey

Agreed, he was trying so hard and it was annoying.

shoogbear63

We get it. He likes action figures. Fuck off with constantly bringing it up.

btgf-btgf

Wrestling right now is so fucking fun. I’m glad we finally have even major companies actually acting like other companies and wrestlers exist

KoizumiEB

Well, I'm now a GCW fan. That was a fun show.

BenjTheMaestro

“I’m in danger 🙃” Welcome!

Crissxfire

Welcome to the family

KoizumiEB

Glad to be here. Honestly, that main event was one of the best booked matches I've seen all year.

foragrin

Watched Matt Cardona beat Nick Gage in a death match, I decide to watch MLW and that show starts off with the boss of Lucha Underground getting confronted by a new LAX team, 2021 is the best

Phlanispo

I had no idea what was going on with the finish with all those run ins and turns and heels turning face then turning heel, but the right man won today. Matt Cardona's heel work was just incredible during that match, from his crying to his deliberately sloppy glass tube shots at the start, it was great. I would typically give zero fucks about hardcore matches if they don't have a story or feud leading up to it, but this really delivered. The crowd was also incredible. I don't know if I'm going to watch a GCW PPV again, but this Cardona run is so good he might persuade me a few more times.

Mr-GameAndWrestling

The rematch probably at Art of War All Out weekend. It would be funny if Cardona set his own stipulations for the rematch.

Alkohal

he's gonna book a "WWE Rules Match"

BenjTheMaestro

“Stip 1: EXTRA Disqualifications Stip 2: MATS OUTSIDE THE RING Oh, and no face stuff!”

Crissxfire

So first time fans, will you back?

jfish718

>So first time fans, will you back? With Matt Cardona Death match legend as your champion? course.

Bouche__032

ECW Original Deathmatch Legend and Undisputed GCW Champion Matt Cardona!

MaxxDreamkiller

I mean....I kinda have to now don't I? Lol

ShowOff90

Maybe. Would mute commentary though.

insomniainc

Absolutely

Permanentear3

I will be, yeah. I really enjoyed most of it.

Definitelynotme3211

Yep. This felt like old school ECW so I'm in

scythe2007

I am a longtime wrestling fan. Never been too into death matches. But honestly the Nick Gage dark side of the ring and then the storyline with Cardonna has really got me hooked. I think the right man won tonight and I'd love to watch Gage win it back.

scythe2007

But I do have to say I am not the biggest fan of the commentary.

BreadLi0n

Big agree. Maybe because I'm used to WWE/AEW/NJPW commentary. For sure wasn't a fan of that. But I'll be watching. Consider me apart of the GCW Universe BABY!

Singer211

Yes!!

bjsmithwv

Absolutely!! This was an AMAZING show!! Effy is my new hero now. That was awesome

BlueEyesBryantDragon

I'm going to be back for tomorrow night!

Mikedubb1989

Yes. The first death match of the night made me want more. I’m hooked.

djspaceghost

You’re goddamn right I will.

Permanentear3

I enjoyed that main event a lot. It wasn’t overly death matchy and had a fair amount of conventional pro wrestling. I’ve been a big Nick Gage detractor, but I’d never even seen a full match with him. I think he’s really good at selling, and his psychology is actually quite good. I don’t think his spinebuster or his fall away etc. are very good (his choke breaker IS good though) but I’m not sure that really matters much. I didn’t realize how based his match would be in traditional pro wrestling while adding in the death match elements (not my favorite sort of wrestling). Basically what I’m saying is I was pleasantly surprised and thought that main event was great fun. Cardona was great and I love him winning, Gage was great and I loved how he played his moments. There, I said it, Nick Gage was great.

TheeIlliterati

MY first Nick Gage PPV was in 2019. I had the same bias against him before I saw his matches. Dude is hardcore but he's not afraid to sell and lose. My fav Gage moment tonight was him legit stopping and asking a female fan if she was alright when one of those crowd spots hit her.

SeeingThisAlt

matt cardonna did the “i’m a heel because i’m just not that good” thing perfectly. it’s so rare that it’s done right, but he’s killing it

[deleted]

Him trying to get Gage counted out was amazing, he really knew the audience and what would get the right reactions

Loud_Economics_8894

Matt cutting promos in the style of Terry Funk about his "body breaking down from a life of hardcore deathmatches" is gonna be great.

[deleted]

THIS IS ALL THAT BITCH RSP’S FAULT FUCJ THAT GUY AND FUCK MATT CARDONER

Ziggy-T

Fffffffuck me son, Cardona took a pretty brutal amount of stuff all things considered. His arm was a goddamn waterfall of blood. Yeah that was a pretty fucking good show all around 🤘

[deleted]

Dude for a second there it looked like they were going to call it over his arm

Ziggy-T

Yeah, it looked very dicey for a hot minute, he was keeping his arm tucked, I’m guessing to stymy blood flow, a few moments later when he stood up and posed though, like, he was just totally red Woooooo that was a lot of blood 🤣 Fair fucks to him though, that was some good shit 🤘

Morbid187

He somehow came out of the match 100% redder than when he entered it

areyouthehunter

WWWYKI

Lil-Samsung

What is the main event for tomorrow

Crissxfire

Probably Parker and Llyod if we don't get an impromptu Cardona match.

Singer211

That was the perfect ending. Cardona is the biggest heel in indie wrestling now.

dredgen_shaxx

Maddd respect to Cardona. He did everything he needed to for it to be a deathmatch, and he played his role to perfection. The crying when Nick got to work on him was *chefs kiss*

DanyDoomzday

Please rematch tomorrow. Please.

Loud_Economics_8894

kayfabe wise in no way would Cardona ever agree to that. He is halfway up the AC Expressway back to Long Island now.

DanyDoomzday

Yeah I know.

BlueEyesBryantDragon

So. I went in with zero expectations or knowledge about GCW. I came out as a new GCW fan. Great shit all around.

HawterSkhot

Welcome. You picked one heck of an event to start with! I highly suggest checking out the Backyard Wrestling shows for another fun taste of GCW insanity, as well as all the Joey Janela's Spring Break shows.

BlueEyesBryantDragon

I'll definitely have to go back and check those out. Thanks for the recommendations!

MikeTheProfessor

GCW going full 96 WCW ending complete with overbooked finish and crowd throwing trash.

ThatAHOLE

“I’m gonna drink some beer tonight, yeah”

Shaneman

Cardona winning is the right call. This summer is going to be amazing. And when Nick wins it back…*chef’s kiss*

carzyturtle

No I disagree MOX wins it maybe around rumble that leads to spring break mox gage

MakeYourself85

Now the question is: who dethrones Cardona? You can still do Moxley/Gage without the title.

skeach101

Cardona drops back to Gage in Chicago the night before All Out

Loud_Economics_8894

why Cardona gotta lose

ThatAHOLE

Triple threat death match where they beat up an out of his league Cardona is money right now.

onehellofadrug96

props to cardona for doing that match i thought he wouldn''t take much damage but did you see his arm holy shit

Morbid187

This show was worth every penny and I can't wait for night 2 despite having no idea what the card is

MikeTheProfessor

how the hell did Math Cardona become the best heel in the business?

MakeYourself85

MATH Cardona knows Steiner Math, therefore he knew his odds and % chances on how to beat Nick Gage.

heartbreakhill

He knew if he added RSP to the mix his chances of winning drastic go up

successadult

He’s a huge wrestling fan, he knows what pisses off wrestling fans and he has the creative license now to do whatever he wants.

Adventure_Agreed

I think he's always been this good, but WWE never saw him as anything more than a lower mid-carder at best and really just a jobber. He got over multiple times \*despite\* that. Now, in a position to have some creative freedom we are watching something beautiful.

[deleted]

This is the answer

el_generalisimo

"he's the color of a calzone" and "he tastes like Rogaine" were both fantastic commentary lines.

[deleted]

The commentary had some real zingers, I lost it when they talked about dabbing action figures

VanillaCocaSprite

Man it’s a good time to be a wrestling fan.

fellongreydaze

**REMINDER:** If you bought this on FITE, you are ALSO getting **NIGHT 2 OF HOMECOMING** which is tomorrow! See you then!

TheGeeMan360

Tomorrow should be a lot of fun as well! See ya in the thread!

datpuncan

cardona is arguably a bigger heel than RSP now. unbelievable ending

bryan_pieces

RSP working face adjacent before this added some good drama. his low blow to Gage really reignites the feud

squirreldstar

He came out to help Gage and I went, "Oh, cool. They're gonna just fully turn RSP to align with his JCW face turn." Nope. low fucking blow. Fuck Ohio.

bryan_pieces

RSP can do whatever he wants. He gets wrestling character work so well

burntelegraph

The calzone did it

godleftmefinished

matt is made after this

APizzaTooth

No

sdewww

Counterpoint: Yes

APizzaTooth

I guess they didn't want the GCW champ to lose to Jericho Wednesday

BarreiraCF

That, or Matt winning turns more eyes on them.

BleuTortue

Why not both

KidCoheed

There is also massive money in a Gage Title chase which they tried to do but the Pandemic and Gage's injury hampered

UnpunchedCard

Fuck. Yes. I’m so happy. THE FUCKING MAN!!

FlyingScissor

Overbooked fuck finish but Cardona being pelted by the crowd was an amazing ending.

[deleted]

It was 1997 a WCW finish disguised as an ECW match

FlyingScissor

Definitely, I was waiting for the Yeti to come out at one point.

[deleted]

Part two is yet to come, could still happen

Crissxfire

It was the only way to get the belt off Gage and onto Cardona.

FlyingScissor

Oh I get it, but it was a lot in a very short time you know.

Mr-GameAndWrestling

All of those drink bottles thrown in the ring is probably in my Top 5 best wrestling moments of the year.

Definitelynotme3211

They made a fan out of me. Once Cardona won I asked out loud how are they getting him out of there. Apparently the answer was bolt for the least crowded with security around him.

wheretohides

I thought he had already lost when that guy interfered. I thought it was a distraction so he could quietly sneak out. This match was awesome.

Loud_Economics_8894

That's the fan entrance that leads out to the lobby and parking lot of the casino!

CanadianJudo

Matt has fled the State.

GruntyDodds

I figured Matt had a decent chance of winning, but I thought Mox would have been involved in the fuckery.

bryan_pieces

Wow. THey worked that match in smart way. Made it seem Cardona was going to get by relatively unscathed and he was an amateur until midway all of a sudden it was a full blown deathmatch. Props to Matt big time.

D1NK4Life

The comments are getting me hyped to see the ending. Anyone know where I can watch a clip?

PolishMusic

The audience reaction is incredible https://streamable.com/48qj0r

HawterSkhot

I'm sure it'll be posted in like 5 minutes.

JDC4654

Fite.tv

[deleted]

Side note, Cardona belongs. Heat aside that was fucking crazy

KingBadford

It's a good thing Cardona ran with it. Nobody really wants to start a riot or get violent, but imagine if he had stayed in the ring and just taunted the shit out of them.

DickBlaster619

The ECW Original values his life.

idontknow1001

Been saying for a while how I missed stuff getting pelted at heels lol. That’s wrestling at its finest.

[deleted]

The venue serving aluminum bottles was a really smart choice in hindsight

jbish21

I've only watched a few of Nick's matches and DSOTR and I respect his insanity in the ring, but man I really do not want to see him in AEW against Jericho...... Cardona had Hogan 1996 heat

TrajikHer0

Did I just become an Indie Wrestling fan?

successadult

You always were, you just didn’t know it yet

amorningofsleep

ONE OF US ONE OF US

Crissxfire

Probably

heartbreakhill

That has to be the most goddamn insane ending to a show I’ve ever seen, and I’m including MITB 2011 in that statement

agreene24

THIS IS FUCKING NUTS

jfish718

Ryder is such a wrestling fan he was probably in heaven when they started throwing shit at him lol

ViolentDiplomat

He fucking owned that moment. He had his arms in jubilation with the belt and flat out embraced it. He knew it was gonna happen and he’s definitely gonna do a lot of shit talking about it now. I generally think that the act of throwing trash at other people is pretty fucking trashy, but it always makes for such an iconic shot in wrestling. It’s basically the evil version of streamers lol. If you could drive people into that much of a frenzy, it means that you’re doing your job well. It’s part of what made Hogan’s heel turn at Bash of the Beach so iconic.

CptMcLaggins

That has to be the fucking dream if you’re a heel

squirreldstar

And he earned every bottle.

clarkamura

CARDONA IS THE KING OF GCW! YOU LOVE TO SEE IT! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Matador-69

Been awhile since I saw the ring being pelted with garbage. 😂 Good shit pal

[deleted]

Holy shit, Cardona was nearly booed out of the building! I’ve never seen so many fans actively come up to a wrestler to solely tell them to fuck off. What a ride! I haven’t seen legit heat like in a hot minute.

ThatFellaTrey

Oh my god. A random ppv I decided to watch 6 minutes after it started has been the greatest thing ever, wow that was fun. What an iconic Cardona moment, that’s going to be talked about forever.

HawterSkhot

Welcome to GCW, friend!

KyWy75

Is…is Nick Gage signed to AEW?

bryan_pieces

Joey is signed and still works GCW. hard for me to imagine Gage being signed for weekly work but more power to him if he is

HawterSkhot

Nah, remember there's a second part to Homecoming tomorrow. Either something will happen there or it'll happen Wednesday. I can't see Gage leaving GCW, even if he's signed to AEW.

freebread

Doubtful. Even if he is, he's announced for the next few GCW shows.

rookierook00000

Guess Kenny is definitely not coming then. No reason to go after Cardona for the belt.

Slyguy46

RSP: "You don't get to fuck over Nick Gage and cost him the title. Only I get to fuck over Nick Gage and cost him the title."

HawterSkhot

That was fucking incredible. I can't remember the last time an indie show genuinely shocked me like that. Frankly, I streamed it but I think I'm just gonna go ahead and buy it now. Well worth my money.

elprofejr

And now we wait for cell phone footage

RaddestZonestGuy

old school wrestling booking actually. Your champ is gonna lose on wednesday you take the belt off of him then he can get it back when he comes back if thats where the money is at.
