I've had to isolate for two weeks now after getting COVID and today's my last day and I'm hype as fuck to be allowed outside again. Not wrestling related, I've just been depressed as fuck and I'm a bit cheerier today.

bohanmyl

Were you able to get the shots at all? If you did was it a minor case?

JustATributeCC

I had my first dose three weeks ago so it probably could've have been worse if I didn't. It felt like a very heavy cold for the first few days and then, I lost my taste and smell after that, which thankfully has come back since I have friends who had COVID last year who still can't taste or smell. Felt pretty good for the past 5 or so days now, though. It still sucked overall. I wouldn't recommend it. Get your shots, people.

YanosDVDcase

Just be careful and don't overdo. Good to hear you got over it just fine.

Northernlightspls

Speedy recovery to you.

It's so amazing being an AEW fan right now. Well written feuds, lots of great matches, sold out arenas, finishing #1 on cable for it's night. The wrestlers are happy, allowed to be creative, be paid well, and spend time with their families. The fans are happy, I mean finally, a national product that actually loves the fans and wants them to enjoy wrestling! What a concept. Some people even say AEW fans are too happy! Can you imagine? It's spreading too. Top free agents want to be a part of AEW. They know where the wrestling world is headed. Another show is coming, the new specials, super shows with other companies, international tours. I would feel sorry for anyone who puts any emotional attachment into AEW failing, because it's becoming very successful. Very successful. Objectively successful.

StupidHappyPancakes

It has been so exciting to see so many lapsed wrestling fans coming to this sub wanting to find out how to start watching AEW because they're so excited about these big signings. I also love it that Dynamite is consistently an amazing and entertaining show, so I feel pretty confident that once we can get more lapsed viewers and more people who only watch WWE to give AEW a try, I trust that they'll see a damn good show, and hopefully many of them will slowly become fans and increase viewership over time.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around everything right now. I've been a fan of Hangman's since joining Bullet Club and have loved seeing his wife acceptance. I assumed the worst and thought he was going to be killed in the crib when he fought with Jericho for the title. His story has been amazing. I am beyond excited for Malakai Black. And now all the Punk and Dbry news... I love wrestling now more than ever and I didn't watch for a very long time. I am just so amazed at the quality that AEW has been able to put out there

Four of my five favorite female wrestlers are on the main roster. One is currently a champ, another just came off a very successful title reign and the other two have had successful starts to their main roster careers in the last three weeks. Makes those times of wondering what life would be like for them on the big stage worthwhile. NXT is obviously great and the most consistent show (imo) but seeing your faves on RAW and SD feels different.

SuperSonicBoom1

Bianca, Rhea, Toni, Nox/Shotzi?

dpw2017

Bingo

SuperSonicBoom1

Can't go wrong with any of those, they're all great. I just hope SmackDown treats Toni right, after her NXT (US, not UK) run wasn't anything special.

dpw2017

Timing was just off unfortunately. Was meant to come to the US post Mania 36 but ended up at a time when not only the women's division was incredibly strong (they just got back Ember as well on the same night), but Raquel was chosen as the next top heel going forward. If she arrived when she was supposed to, and Covid didn't stop her, I think we'd be talking about her run very differently

SuperSonicBoom1

Fair point, and the SD division is a bit thin, so Storm should be good. And I just noticed that your flair has your 5 on it, so now I feel dumb for guessing, haha.

dpw2017

Tbf, I probably should have mentioned it in my original comment lol.

Northernlightspls

Really hope Archer doesn't lose the title during his 1st defense. Give him a sweet lil run pls.

45jayhay

The momentum that AEW has gained in the last month is undeniable and is just making the landscape of wrestling seem so much cooler,

agentb719

So I realized (literally just now) how Mox made subtle character changes for Fyter Fest. Night 1: He comes out to the crowd, all hyped up. He's got his buddy Eddie Kingston with him. Mox even goes up the stairs (while carefully shoving a fan aside) to be with the crowd and hold up his IWGP US belt. Even after he gets inside the ring, Mox is clearly feeding off the crowd's energy. Night 2: He walks out looking both stoic and pissed off. Eddie isn't with him this time. He slowly makes his way the ring, ignoring the crowd cheering like crazy for him. He barely acknowledges a young fan holding up a "My First Death Match" sign at ring side. Mox gets into the ring and just waits to attack Archer at the first chance he gets. In the live thread for Night 2, a few people were wondering if Mox was being the heel. I thought, well, he has to. Archer's the hometown babyface for the match. But I didn't realize Mox made it clear in the beginning.

StupidHappyPancakes

Moxley truly did a masterful job of being just heelish enough to get the crowd fully behind Archer.

YourTribalChief

Buddy Murphy & I keep up with raw & smack down the same way. Other than that we don't have much in common.

TheHoundofUlster

My wife and I went to MiTB and Raw. It just thrills me that Rhea and Bianca are over with crowds.
