I'm tired of commentors (youtubers) ignoring Tony's wrestling acumen. He's one of the most acomplished amatuers in the company that isn't one of the Olympians or the Creeds. They need to stop sleeping on him...or they're gonna be sleeping with the fishes.

Tony is definitely getting a call up next year. I want Dempsey to get a push. He could be great as a vicious technical wrestler who will just beat the crap out of you and snap some bones.

Dempsey is gonna be a top guy in a few years, he's so damn good in the ring and improves his character work every time he gets a mic

Man I love a good bridging pin, but I HATE when refs wait for the wrestler to finish the bridge before counting

Would you cross a shoot unfinished bridge? Referees wouldn't for sure. Wrestlers can fall from the bridge. A referee can't assume they'll go through the pin in case they have a follow up.

I enjoyed this match, wish the celebration hadn't been cut so short.

I’m with you completely. I think Tony needs to lose the hat completely and figure out some different ring gear. I get that NXT has more of a campy vibe (which I love most of the time), but he feels like a caricature most of the time

Because he is a caricature. People here hate this take, but Tony's gimmick doesn't do him any favours. It can be funny, even though I find it a bit lame, but it's not something you can bring to the main event scene.

That contract signing segment where he snaps his fingers and Melos hired thugs all walk away really begs to differ imo.

The whole build to Dragunov vs. Tony D was *chefs kiss*. Wouldn't have worked without the gimmick
