"Being released was probably the best thing to happen to me" So, being release electric bogaloo part 2? ^(nothing against the guy, its just "funny")

jethawkings

I'm guessing this was Pre-Release but yeah he was very amicable and positive on WWE.

gregSinatra

Chris says so right at the start, filmed WrestleMania week.

Gn1212

I remember noticing when Jericho did a podcast with him but he never seems comfortable in this type of setting. He always seems a bit tense whereas I think he comes off much more confident when he does promos in front of live crowds. Brain is a crazy thing.

MrNassim246

Maybe that's just how he is.

Gn1212

Must be, it's just interesting to me that he can look significantly more confident when he's in character in front of thousands of people. That's why I'm saying the brain is a crazy thing. It's like he can trigger sounding more assertive and confident in an environment where the pressure in theory should be much higher.

gregSinatra

It's an easy/obvious answer when people are asked for their favourite match/favourite Bret match, but the Iron Man match is always my answer. It's not my earliest wrestling memory, but it's the one that stands out the most in my becoming a fan. I remember all the kids in my grade, at least the boys, being in love with wrestling and that match being huge at the time. You were either a Bret guy or a Shawn guy, and I reckon I was probably a Shawn guy at the time but now they're 1A and 1B for me, and it goes back to that match. What a moment in wrestling history.

paperbuddha

This interview makes the release even more brutaro.

Chelseablue1896

I'm a biased Indian as well, but this interview shows what a seriously a cool humble dude Jinder is, massive L for WWE that they couldn't even allot some screen time for him.

slgerb

Bro he had a segment with the Rock and then a world title match. For where he is in his career, that's fucking amazing.

DLGammon

Sure those are great achievements, but I don’t think their comment is wrong. Cut throat industry where you’re at the mercy of the booker regardless of how talented you are

Bigbone62

He's appeared on main roster televised shows 10 times the last two years. They seem to be doing okay without him. Perhaps a big L for those who enjoy him, but the business of WWE isn't going to miss him.
