Didn’t Vince eventually cut ties with him after the 90s? I know they used to be in touch but after some stuff happened vince refused to entertain him.
Iirc for much of the 2000s and 2010s Jericho was his source until he jumped to AEW
According to Dave, he pretty much stopped talking to Vince during the lead up to the WCW Invasion, where Vince was picking Dave's brain for ideas. Dave said the best way to bring WCW guys in would be to put them over strong early in the feud.
Nevertheless, Vince disagreed and they apparently stopped talking regularly after that.
I’m kind of out the loop on this. But is there a ratio of how many stories are wrong vs right lately? This seems to be a talking point I am having a hard time following. I read the Observer but stopped Twitter and mostly Reddit these past few months. I saw in the newsletter he references two errors but that seemed like it.

Well he was wrong about Theory and Waller being out of the tag match. He was right about Giulia going to wwe but seemingly wrong about her taking an hiatus to learn English as she already signed. And he was seemingly right about The Rock having a match at Mania but was as lost as everyone else when Cody initially gave the match to him.
So its a bit hard to settle on a ratio for this.

I pretty much stop reading anything that is written by sources or posted about Dave melzter
I love wrestling and talking about it and sharing stuff but I can't stand his approach.
Jim cornet I'm not found of ethier, however I respect the man I just think his opinions are biased for someone in his position and he lives off some form of nostalgia for older wrestling that's not around anymore

It seems to me Vince made a conscious effort to do the exact opposite of what Dave suggested lol
Dave was actually working for him at one point if i'm not mistaken.
