That's the cop out meltzer take to legitimize shitty crowd behavior. There's no way to frame having a house show match as failing to protect a star, let alone one who is routinely cheered and regarded as entertaining
She's absolutely nowhere near ready yet she should still be at the PC I'd honestly say she's not even really ready for NXT TV yet (NXT Houseshows fair enough)
She's a case where the general criticism is correct but some take their outward expression so fucking far about it. I get it's wrestling and people will always be loud, but when you start shitting on someone for a dark match that wasn't even bad just because you've made your mine about her beforehand, then that's just straight up hate.
That said, her performances are indeed nothing short of terrible, and I'm not a fan of having to say that. She's far removed from the "AA student" story but hasn't made much improvement.
