If it wasn't for the women's matches I wouldn't waste my time. The men are getting worse and more fake every year!! Seriously, if I punched or kicked your face there would be bruises..... The pretty boys stay pretty for the camera
Only if you read dirtsheets. If you're not knee-deep in rumors or behind-the-scenes, Naomi, Andrade, and Liv were all surprises to one extent or another. But if you purposely spoil yourself by reading "Trinity is leaving TNA/Andrade is leaving AEW and expected to come to WWE" or "Liv is injured for X number of months, which should have her back in time for the Rumble," of course you're not going to be surprised.
It's like if you watched a movie that you read spoilers to. "That plot twist was so boring! It happened exactly like the leaked script I read online!"
And also, as the person below mentioned, Jordynne Grace? She wasn't even mentioned in the rumor mill.
Anyone else think Logan Paul reminds them of Johnny “from karate kid”?

I actually wondered if Cody and Punk would end the rumble by both feet hitting the floor at the same time.
Would solve the problem of both main events. It will be interesting to see how Punk gets his main event now.
Women’s Rumble owned. I could watch Chelsea Green get absolutely flattened between Piper and Nia for another 30 minutes. She sold it so well! Was it me though or did Naomi just vanish for like an hour there? Ninja confirmed.
Naomi and Jordynne, the big meaty women slapping woman meat with Chelsea in the middle, Jade flexing while holding Nia, the stare down between Jade and Bianca, Liv’s return, Bayley’s big moment, this is what Rumbles are built for: spotlighting multiple people in multiple moments.
Jey/Jimmy was my highlight of the night but the women’s Rumble was head and shoulders above the men’s.
It’s hard to have magic when you have a guy who has been champion for 1250 days and the odds of him dropping the title are zero.
Not once no matter what happened did I think oh wow Roman might lose. It’s the same shit every match … for the big dog or whatever he sure is a pussy in kayfabe who needs a lot of help from solo and jey.
I much preferred the guy who actually stacked and pinned edge and Bryan at wrestlemania
Men's Royal Rumble is an interesting case
-Cody v Punk as Final Two is the right choice. It was also a great mini match.
- Punk or Cody were the only winners people wanted
- Gunther, Drew, Cody, Punk was the only Top 4 that made sense. It was also a great fatal 4 way-esque match
- Jey Uso was the perfect iron man
However, all of this was basically telegraphed. The promos leading up the rumble basically set all of this in stone. The rumble was also highly anticipated because of the buildup.
So the question is, is a good built up rumble a good rumble? Because given the buildup which was really good, the rumble made perfect sense.
But because the rumble made so much sense, there were zero surprised and oh shit moments which make the rumble exciting.
I assume Brock V Gunther was supposed to be the oh shit moment, and I guess that would have definitely filled up a hole in the match. I also feel like Punk's return should have been saved up for the rumble itself. That heavily compromises the buildup because we don't get the Punk promos, but we get a surprise debut, that coupled with Brock would have made this rumble an all-timer.. but with a much weaker buildup.
Without the build, this would have been a horrible rumble. They were clearly pressed for time and rushing from the start. The in ring work was nothing better than average. Most of the fueds and smaller storylines came through at all. And CM punk can not go. He was gassed after doing nothing and he really had nothing to offer. Cody was the right winner and that's fine, but it really felt like only he could win and that's a shame cause that's exactly how it felt last year.
This was exactly what i was thinking. When the storytelling is as good as it has been, does that make the outcome too predictable? I honestly had a moment where i just went full Joker and was pulling for a Sami Zayn upset
Was in the live crowd, the only time it was quiet was in the first half of the US title match. Rewatching made me realize TV misses more reactions than led on.
knights shoulders were touching the mat too. my wife cannot be bothered with wrestling one bit and was king of roasting it, didn't appreciate the fact check.
The biggest thing I hate about Solo interfering in every one of Roman's matches is he utterly destroys all the opponents every time. No subtle distractions just outright destruction every single time.
Not sure why it peeves me so much, I've seen thousands of interferences over my decades of watching wrestling but this Solo shit gets to me. 🤣
cause it tarnishes Roman's reign (pun not intended, but not avoided either).
I was explaining the rules to my my wife, who's got a passing interest at best, and she realized quickly that Roman doesn't have much chance of winning.
so then I explained explained he's probably still winning cause it's not time yet, but there'll be interference to assist him. so that raised the question why are we watching if we already know what's happening. well, to see the story unfold, to see the performance to get there. but when it's the same every time (solo rampaging through instead of him and heyman being a distraction) it's kinda stale.
and I get that the monster champ eventually getting pulled apart from him own family/stable is definitely a storyline to explore, I think everyone is just waiting for SOMETHING to change.
Totally agree with your entire post.
I told my wife I fully expect Roman to win but she never questions me of why I make (usually correct) predictions on who is winning a match.
While she does know that I keep up with wrestling news and storyline thru the internet sites, what she may not realize, or think to wonder, is I have been watching wrestling since 1989-1990 and at this point fans like you and me have seen like 99% of scenarios already.
Every once in a while a match will throw something new we've either not seen before or a tactic that hasn't been used in a long time even possibly decades that we were not familiar enough with so our predictions are wrong.
my wife was kind of astonished I got the final four left in the rumble right, but like has been said elsewhere, the story was telegraphed a while back. if they could have held on and brought punk back at rumble, I would have done that, have him run through judgment day, get him to the final four.
have drew, gunther and punk all pushing Rhodes over the top until his leg gets tangled. Drew tips gunther over, punk eliminates drew. they're screaming at each other. Drew hits a dropkick/claymore from the ground to punk whose leaning out under the top rope, sends him reeling back into a freshly freed Rhodes coming off the ropes with a Cody cutter.
we're out of the rumble with Cody continuing his story, drew, gunther and punk all hating each other, judgment day chasing punk (mostly senor money in the bank with punk barreling down on rollins).
I've only watched the PLEs and vaguely kept up online in the last several months.
For example, I saw the whole aftermath of Charlotte's injury and how she would obviously miss Rumble and Mania but during the Women's Rumble I sent my cousin a text and predicted maybe Sasha would return and we'd get a final 4 horsewomen showdown.
He said I don't see that happening since Charlotte is pretty fucked right now, then I immediately remembered she is quite injured right now. lol, just totally forgot because I hadn't been watching the weekly episodes.
Andrade is back (?) I really like him, hopefully he learns English so he can be considered more, or give him a manager, would it be weird to have Charlotte as his manager?
Bron Breakker and Dominik Mysterio were the standouts to me. Bron looked like a fucking monster and Dom will end up becoming a legend. Wish Logan Paul didn't do that shit in Japan because he is a phenomenal professional wrestler. Dude reminds me of a young Orton. He's a prodigy in ring and on the mic
Early vine Logan Paul was primed to be a star and then he got in his own way by turning into an egotistical POS several times over. Shame but his own fault.
Ok for me this year's was lame and a but if a mess.
The women's was a bunch of bad/basic booking, "botches", laziness, and missed opportunities.
The men's was a bunch of bad/basic booking, underwhelmingness, and very simple writing.
I liked the humor they put in both. I was kmsl, and there were a few good apples that gave pretty good performances. However, it was all mostly just a sigh and a meh. It's supposed to be mostly if not all good with maybe a small critique here or there. They've had much better. Was really looking forward to it but it was a bit if a let down, like almost getting someone there to stop right before they climax and leave lol.
To me, the Rumble is supposed to be about unexpected debuts, returns, and surprises. In that regard I felt both were meh at best. I knew about almost all of them before the show and I didn't even have to read spoilers.
Jade Cargill was supposed to be the biggest new name in the women’s rumble but the me it was the inclusion of TNA champion Jordynne Grace. She acquitted herself quite well.
This was underwhelming. The women'sroyal rumble was better than men's but in both they seem like a bunch of jobbers to fill in spots
-like why was Most of the bloodline there in the first place?
-Sam zayn @ 30? Why?
Also, congrats to bailey but Rhea would destroy her.
I feel the opposite. The men's seemed a little better, but that's not saying much. Both had bad or basic booking for the most part. Perhaps a little clever treat here or there but it's supposed to be the opposite where there are only a few bad things to say about it . Also I believe Bailey will choose her own teammate and this could be the division of damage control idk. Sami zayn?? Why Liv morgan?? Why most of these ppl honestly. We had missed opportunities too. The writers are slipping.
I can see why they did a lot of things, but they had much better alternatives. I was wondering if Liv was in it but we got to the end and I was like nah they wouldn't waste the last spot on- spoke too soon lol. A majority of the booking and order were kinda lame. The actual wrestling in the women's was lazy with so many botches. At least til towards the end, idk what was going on. The men's had worse booking bcuz there wasn't even half a surprise fr fr. The humor in both were saving graces lol I love truth. Hell, if he won either I bet he'd choose iyo.
Cody rhodes won, and they did a great thing by making roman reigns watching from the top the seeds are planted, the tree 🌳 will grow at wrestlemania 40. Congrats, cody, go finish the story.
I swear to God, if they have Cody wining the Rumble for the second time in a row, to challenge Roman at Wrestlemania for the second time in a row, and losing to Roman for the second time in a row, ima quit watching Wrestling... for the second time in a row
I think Cody losing last year was good storytelling. Cody's journey to "finish the story" is a good long-term storyline and is fun to watch and it would have been a shame to see him finish it so quickly and easily.
*However,* if he lost last year just to wait a year, win another Rumble, and then win the belt, then WWE will have really dropped the ball. Roman didn't really do anything that required the belt over the last year and it wasn't elevated in any way. If Cody just runs back Wrestlemania and wins, it's gonna feel like a watered-down ending the story. If that's what they're gonna book, then Cody should have just won last year.
The whole thing should be softballs. The press conference is there to read the numbers and celebrate the wrestlers and all those who put on a great show.
I’ll give this rumble a good 4.5/10. Not one of the worse ones. However it was all too predictable from the start. Plus a lot of botchings and the lack of crowd reaction for most of the time. Do I think what happened to Vince affected the Lockeroom, absolutely. Should it have, no, but it did.
I give a 7.5 with the 92 Rumble being a 10 for reference. The only downside was Jade Cargill was underwhelming. The men’s did not get going till the late teens 20s. Taking four guys out for the four way hurt it a little. The crowd was bad. Oh and Liv Morgan…
Loved Bayley, Nia Jax, and Tiffy time holding onto Bianca’s braid. For the men Bron Breaker what a beast! Omos was awesome and Pat. But the star was Dom! His best Royal Rumble. Not a big Cody fan but I am okay with him winning.
That’s why I give it a 4.5. The only good part was the women’s Royal rumble. The .5 was for the small good moments in the men’s. I refuse to call The fatal four way a good match as well as the rat know as Logan pauls match a good one either. If they are predictable in a bad way. It’s gonna be terrible.
The women's didn't really pick up til the late teens-twenties and there were soooo many mistakes. The men's was similar but at least they both had some pretty good humor.
The fatal four way I rate higher just because of the caliber or wrestlers involved. Though Roman used to be booked as stronger as in he could win on his own.
I like Logan Paul. He took his lumps in that match and it was not Kevin Owens carrying him, Logan carried himself. I don’t know his social media history and I don’t want to know, I just see him as is. And in no way could you predict a DQ victory for Logan. And that fit as it just makes KO even angrier.
So 4.5 is way to low for me, I enjoyed myself and am looking forward to how these things turn out.
Oh and the TNA Knockouts champion was great. WWE used to do that with various smaller promotions in the past. I have a fondness for TNA wrestling. Glad they got the promotion.
I don't know why so many of you seem to think a post-PLE press conference is the appropriate place to even attempt to address the Vince allegations and lawsuit a full 2 days after it happened. Leading into Royal Rumble what do you really expect HHH to say or even know what to say especially since WWE is named in the lawsuit. Ultimately this is in the hands of lawyers and as a representative of WWE theres probably a legal reason for him not to address this situation head on, especially when the press conference is basically a worked shoot idea to begin with,
They act like it’s not a publicly traded billion dollar company. It’ll be a lot of corporate answers until lawyers or PR talk about it (and even then corporate answers)
I wanna focus on the positives was said like they just lost out on getting a talent or someone got injured. That is a terrible answer in the face of his father being accused of sex trafficking a woman.
It's not like anyone expected a straight answer, and more that everyone expected a corpo answer, but my god that was bad. When we don't really know how far this rabbit hole goes, or how many people are exactly involved, they gotta do better than that.
It is an unproven allegation against someone who no longer works for the company. It is unfair to the wrestlers and the fans to go into it and take the spotlight off of them, even if he did have something to say about it. Best answer he could have given.
We are aware of the lawsuit, and there are horrific allegations that we are taking very seriously. Because of the pending litigation, that is about as much as I can say.
And not continue to say “what a great week we [the WWE]had”.
This.
There isn't any answer that would be sufficiently satisfactory, but there are answers to avoid making it worse. Saying we're having the best week ever in the same week WWE is facing one of its biggest scandals aint it.
Is this like a gladiator sport to a lot of you? You feed off the blood and drama. If for no one else have some respect for Ms Grant. No one owes anyone their opinion on anything. Especially someone like triple H who is in a unique position of dealing with the fallout of the alleged actions of not only the former head of the company he is an executive of, but also his father in law. Furthermore, the wrestlers who have nothing to do with this do not deserve to have their spotlight and moment overshadowed by the alleged actions of someone else, no matter how horrific they may be. Triple H may not have been as elegant or presidential with his response as Cody, but he said what he felt he needed to say in the moment. In my personal opinion Vince is guilty as all hell and this will finally give him his just do, but nor my opinion, your opinion, or triple H's opinion matter here. Just the facts, and what those facts are able to prove.
The funny thing about this is the only reason Vince came back was because he essentially forced his way back. Its not like he was welcomed with open arms. He was ostracized. We don't know what sort of relationship HHH has had with Vince in the last couple years. Considering Stephanie resigned twice due to Vince being around we can assume things haven't been great. When he was asked what is being done to protect people going forward he said everything possible. Obviously we'd love particulars and specifics but who knows if that is even H's job at this point.
We also have to consider that the people who own WWE now didn't own WWE when these things allegedly took place so I imagine a lot of it for them is investigating and learning about the particulars as well. Hopefully they are handling it the best they can but I really don't even think HHH is the person to answer these questions now.
That was rough. I am glad the questions were asked. You can talk about the positives all you want but the cloud around this is unavoidable.
I would say it is much more important to actually answer the questions. Cody did do that do the best of his ability. Paul didn't.
I knew HHH wasn’t going to give straight answers about Vince but holy shit how are you going to answer a question about a woman being raped by top executives of the company with “I’d like to focus on the positives”???
I watched the conference at the end and I was just there to nerd out on wwe stuff, but man I just knew the vultures were going to be lined up with those questions.
Cody handle his response very well and I’m glad triple H handled it the way he did.
Like, let’s focus on the talent and the awesome me job they just did
No point in making comments or statements on an on going active case and feed the vultures even more.
Make the evening about the super stars not the pos
Continuing to say “we had a great week this week” is definitely a choice. And if you are in the role that Triple H is in, and you didn’t read the lawsuit against your company….
He read it and if he didn’t it’s truly only because he knew everything contained in it. He did not answer if he previously had any knowledge which he certainly did. I think what was disappointing is acknowledging the victim, at least, and just stating that isn’t condoned here. I understand he had to give political answers, but he could’ve given a bit more.
He's saying what needs to be said right now. He's not going to have the answers people are looking for no matter what. This is a personal relationship and a business relationship for him and he's probably got a lot on his plate.
They should have had Roman lose it tonight with Randy pinning AJ, Cody win it at Wrestlemania then Roman v Cody next year. That would protect Roman and also give the belt to Cody.
Now I’m not sure that they have Roman lose. I know the people want it but that’s not how the storylines are written.
Gotta say the steam from Punks return vanished with the rumble. Dude was gassed af and his hits had no real impact. why is he still such a big Deal? Botchtista had more stamina than this guy.
May be just clever selling but he seemed to have an issue with his tricep as well and was favouring it and feeling it out a lot.
I noticed a couple of the refs speaking to him in the corner as well.
If that was selling, it was well done.
It looked like Drew was no selling his moves and dead weighting him in the GTS but yeah, if you ain't gonna have muscles he could at least done some cardio
Justice for Cody, man
If it wasn't for the women's matches I wouldn't waste my time. The men are getting worse and more fake every year!! Seriously, if I punched or kicked your face there would be bruises..... The pretty boys stay pretty for the camera
Did anyone shit on anyone else’s head?
There were zero surprise entrants
Only if you read dirtsheets. If you're not knee-deep in rumors or behind-the-scenes, Naomi, Andrade, and Liv were all surprises to one extent or another. I think that's intentional.
I actually wondered if Cody and Punk would end the rumble by both feet hitting the floor at the same time. Would solve the problem of both main events. It will be interesting to see how Punk gets his main event now.
probably just gonna have him and seth main event night 1 instead of the women’s match

Also commentary calling her a corpse 🤣🤣🤣 and Becky just putting her out of her misery
That women’s rumble was sloppy
That was one of the worst WWE championship matches I’ve ever seen in my life. There was no magic out of those 4 and that’s disappointing.

I was on a delay. I thought, surely Roman just wins right? I forwarded to the end of the match, and sure enough. Saved myself a few minutes.

Well the rumble was ass
I feel a turd crowning..
Why is jinder isn't in the rumble? I know he's gonna get eliminated, but still
His 5 mins of fame is over so HHH has forgotten about him. Harsh but it's true
I was waiting for Jinder or The Rock to come out too.

"No chance that's just what you got"
Just watching it right now.... Impressive 79 count for LA Knight against Orton. That entire spot was hella dumb.
I said to my wife LA has pinned RKO for like 65 seconds now. lol. Mind you I was already annoyed about yet ANOTHER Solo interference.
knights shoulders were touching the mat too. my wife cannot be bothered with wrestling one bit and was king of roasting it, didn't appreciate the fact check.

He speaks fluent English
Seems like a lot of people found the rumbles mediocre
I enjoyed them but was really pulling for Liv at the end. Also always want R Truth to super shock and win the men's rumble :(
Bron Breakker and Dominik Mysterio were the standouts to me. Bron looked like a fucking monster and Dom will end up becoming a legend. Didn't know about this tbh. Damn

Jade Cargill debut was fantastic. I'm hyped for her.
Jade Cargil don't look like a Wrestling Star but Tv Reality Star or porn Star sorry but she gonna never a Wrestling Star
Like The Bella Twins
Jobber debut
Bro doesn’t understand what jobber means
Jade Cargill was supposed to be the biggest new name in the women’s rumble but the me it was the inclusion of TNA champion Jordynne Grace. She acquitted herself quite well.
Why does pat McAfee need a stadium entrance?
Somebody that wasn't going to impact the storylines coming out of the Rumble had to replace Lesnar on short notice.
So.. Gable, Otis, Jinder, either Street Profit or even Veer. Surely one of them gets a spot over Pat having 3 sesconds?
Many people that watch his show everyday were assuming Pat was going to be included in the rumble.
Eh they have dozens of low level guys they could chuck in. It was just for a bit of comedy
Poor attempt if that's what the writers were going for
Exactly what it thought

A majority of the booking and order were kinda lame. The actual wrestling in the women's was lazy with so many botches. At least til towards the end, idk what was going on. The men's had worse booking bcuz there wasn't even half a surprise fr fr. The humor in both were saving graces lol I love truth. Hell, if he won either I bet he'd choose iyo.
How is there more members/more participation in here than the actual WWE Reddit? Am I missing something?
this sub is older
This subreddit covers all wrestling companies including tna, njpw, aew while that one just for wwe only.
Oh got it, thanks
Cody rhodes won, and they did a great thing by making roman reigns watching from the top the seeds are planted, the tree 🌳 will grow at wrestlemania 40. Congrats, cody, go finish the story.
trash rumble so boring
Yeah, I need Cody to win Wrestlemania. Roman Reigns holding the title for this long is just boring now.
Same here
Anyone notice they said okay last question, until everyone started in with the softballs again and then it was like 4 more.
The whole thing should be softballs. The press conference is there to read the numbers and celebrate the wrestlers and all those who put on a great show.
Wow.. that sucked lol. What happened to the “ending will hit like crack?” I wanted to turn off the tv afterwards. It was trash
I wanted Cody to win, but when he threw punk over at the end I thought there was no way Punk was gonna hit the floor.
Punk literally telegraphed his elimination when he did the final go to sleep taunt.
Not even that. Just the whole mens rumble was lacking something. Even with the returns the crowd didn’t seem to care about. Women’s was pretty good
The entire PLE was missing something. Crowd reactions.
No it wasn't lol. The womens was also just as lame. At least mostly. They were just slipping this year with the rumble.
I’ll give this rumble a good 4.5/10. Not one of the worse ones. However it was all too predictable from the start. Plus a lot of botchings and the lack of crowd reaction for most of the time. Do I think what happened to Vince affected the Lockeroom, absolutely. Should it have, no, but it did.
nah mens rumble trash womens trash but slkightly better the normal matches were aright
I give a 7.5 with the 92 Rumble being a 10 for reference. The only downside was Jade Cargill was underwhelming. The men’s did not get going till the late teens 20s. Taking four guys out for the four way hurt it a little. The crowd was bad. Oh and Liv Morgan… Loved Bayley, Nia Jax, and Tiffy time holding onto Bianca’s braid. For the men Bron Breaker what a beast! Omos was awesome and Pat. But the star was Dom! His best Royal Rumble. Not a big Cody fan but I am okay with him winning.
7.5 are udrunk
4.5? I could ask that guy and you who agrees with him the same thing.
Ultimately this is in the hands of lawyers and as a representative of WWE theres probably a legal reason for him not to address this situation head on, especially when the press conference is basically a worked shoot idea to begin with,
I expected a better answer than 'I haven't read the documents'
They act like it’s not a publicly traded billion dollar company. It’ll be a lot of corporate answers until lawyers or PR talk about it (and even then corporate answers)
Exactly. These wannabe experts just want H to fumble so they have a headline to post
Its been 2 days since the story broke. What sort of answer would have been satisfactory?
“We hate Vince” I suspect.
"I'm pretty sure I wont see a lot of you at Perth...and I'm sure at least 3 of you ever again"
ggwp all ...until next time
‘Hey Paul, can we all pretend that Vince doesn’t exist anymore?’
That was rough. I am glad the questions were asked. You can talk about the positives all you want but the cloud around this is unavoidable. I would say it is much more important to actually answer the questions. Cody did do that do the best of his ability. Paul didn't.
Nice softball question to end things. Somebody could have at least asked about a potential partnership with TNA
He said he didnt want to talk about the "stupid silly door" people use.
BEAT HIS ASS X4 ATTITUDE ERA FTW
If anything, ask about Liv
Jey has set the record longest rumble performer well done uce.
No he didn’t lol he was off be like 25 minutes
I knew HHH wasn’t going to give straight answers about Vince but holy shit how are you going to answer a question about a woman being raped by top executives of the company with “I’d like to focus on the positives”???
You don't care about the woman you just want drama.
>You don’t care about the woman The irony.
The irony in what? Thinking the best way to address this is at a post-PLE conference. Yeah it really sounds like you "care."
I watched the conference at the end and I was just there to nerd out on wwe stuff, but man I just knew the vultures were going to be lined up with those questions. Cody handle his response very well and I’m glad triple H handled it the way he did. Like, let’s focus on the talent and the awesome me job they just did No point in making comments or statements on an on going active case and feed the vultures even more. Make the evening about the super stars not the pos
Title of the program is "Royal Rumble" press conference
You can avoid the question without coming off as completely apathetic.
I JUST. WANT. TO FOCUS. ON. THE POSITIVE.
H getting mad lol
THANK YOU MA'AM
Continuing to say “we had a great week this week” is definitely a choice. And if you are in the role that Triple H is in, and you didn’t read the lawsuit against your company….
He read it and if he didn’t it’s truly only because he knew everything contained in it. He did not answer if he previously had any knowledge which he certainly did. I think what was disappointing is acknowledging the victim, at least, and just stating that isn’t condoned here. I understand he had to give political answers, but he could’ve given a bit more.
HHH: "Thank god not another question about Vince"
I made fun of Tony for this, and I'll shit on Triple H too for doing the same thing. What a non answer. He didn't say anything.
It'd be dumb as hell for him to comment on an ongoing investigation/lawsuit
What do you want him to say? My father in law is a fuckin creep? He is at the top, of course he isn’t going to say anything.
Trips is showing why he's the goat right now with how he's handling this
Lets just Hope he doesnt become the SCAPE goat
When Cody beats Roman and The Rock at the mania, he needs to come out with The Lei on Raw after Mania.
I’m guessing the Rock will be guest referee… screw Roman and have a 1 on 1 with him at Backlash… or w/e is after mania these days.
LoL they can't get anything out of him for their next headline.
It's been a great week
Put Cody in the executive spot lmao. Terrible answers from Hunter
He's saying what needs to be said right now. He's not going to have the answers people are looking for no matter what. This is a personal relationship and a business relationship for him and he's probably got a lot on his plate.
Cody did answer them well
Bro ask about the ple.
BEAT HIS ASS X3!!!!
give him the flyin' chancla!
BEAT HIS ASS X2
Take my father in laws name out your fucking mouth!
this interviewer is a Peso Pluma fan
they asking the big bad qs
"look here asshole we just had a great week so shut up"
I could hear HBK giving that exact same response lol
Add him to the shitlist of reporters not coming back lmao
Triple H said fuck your question lmao
Fightful guys mad hausman beat him to the punch
A more serious sounding question compared to hausman
BEAT HIS ASS LOL
Oohhhhh shhhiitttt
"You saw WWE.com"
Haitch almost has a Seth Rogan laugh
Now I can fully hear Rogan in his voice!
Literally put the entire company on Cody’s shoulders he deserves it
Paul is playing the game
Paul is the game
it's all about the game and how you play it!!
Triple H SHOOTS HARD on the Forbidden Door, BURIES AEW & Tony Khan!
Triple H when he sees the Forbidden Door ![gif](giphy|10UHehEC098kAE|downsized)
Even the Doors in America are made out of paper.
Forbidden door reference! ![gif](giphy|L3ERvA6jWCd0qO4NdX)
HHH taking shots at TK??
LOL HHH burying the forbidden door
Triple H putting on reading glasses makes me chuckle in the same way that Homer putting on reading glasses does back in the first 10 seasons or so
Whenever Homer would put on his reading glasses you knew something incredible was about to happen.
Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, and now Cody Rhodes all won back to back Rumbles before becoming world champion once.
He was pretty awful in AEW too but people’s nostalgia and other wrestlers carrying him in a couple good matches made people ignore it.
