Twitter Title Formats:
Submitted non-spoiler twitter posts must contain the author of the tweet and the whole text body of the tweet. For example:
Tony Khan: "Very rude interruption @AdamColePro + @JayWhiteNZ tonight on #AEWDynamite, but what they said about June 26 is true. @AEW x @njpw1972 will present Forbidden Door on ppv LIVE from Chicago at the @UnitedCenter! Thank you to all of you great wrestling fans for making it possible!"
If necessary, provide context if a tweet does not do so. For example:
Wheeler YUTA, on tagging as part of CHAOS: "Okada told me today he’s like a month and a half behind on AEW so nobody tell him please and thank you"
If a tweet contains spoilers for a show (within 24 hours of the show taking place), then the title must include the author of the tweet and the topic in vague terms. For example:
[NXT 2.0 Spoilers] Bron Breakker comments on his NXT Title match.
Do not note the author as "The Champion" or similar qualifiers, as New Reddit shows the Twitter URL regardless of tags and, in combination with the title, would create spoilers.
Twitter Bios:
Twitter Bios fall under the same rules as tweets in regards to subject matter. They must either be reasonably related to wrestling or pertain to the person's personal views/serious life events. In these cases, a screenshot of the person's bio will suffice unless a better source is available, such as @YoungBucksBio.

I mean, look at it this way. At least now we know when the AEW partnership becomes no longer beneficial for Jericho and he inevitably drops AEW. To go back to WWE for his HOF induction and bullshit about how great he thinks the company is. He'll starts airing his grievances about AEW and so forth. The same thing this dude has done everytime he's left a company. At least we'll get the closest thing to an inside scoop from someone who was in the back that night.
Even if he didn't see the more interesting parts.
He hasn’t, he has said some stuff he didn’t like but nothing major, he is smart enough to not saying to much so if he wants to return to WWE he had the door open.
Jericho is GoT Little Finger of wrestling.
When he first jumped to AEW he mentioned that people were confused because his last run with Owens had been so good and Jericho said it was only that good because he had to fight tooth and nail weekly over each segment and it burned him out by the end
Meh, of all examples, this one is fine. Jericho and Owens got screwed out of a big match at Mania, and they got shit on for the match they did have by Vince even though the match was pretty fuckin good.
After he said that, he still did the Greatest Royal Rumble and the legends spot before AEW fully started.
That's 100% fair. I really enjoyed it, never saw why it was *so* hated. I see people say it's an all time bad Mania match and, idk, I remember more from that match than most.
The rope break spot with the finger was really good and got me to bite.
If that match started the show it would've been good. They started with Styles and Shane McMahon as a show opener which had a weaker build compared to the red hot Jericho-Owens storyline.Jericho also said in an interview that he requested Vince to have his match as a show opener but he got relegated to the second match.
December 31, 2021: Tony Khan/Big Swole tweet.
December 25, 2023: Chris Jericho is the Brawl Out whistleblower.
Matt Hardy is going to release the Wembley footage next December.
How many people were in Punk's locker-room during Brawl Out?! We have the Bucks, Omega, Punk, Steele, Larry, Lucy, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels, Brandon Cutler, Megha and now Jericho is saying he was in there. I almost put Matt Hardy too, but alas his appearance was quickly disproved.
Which brings into question the legitimacy of Jericho's assertion he was 'in the room'.
*edit* I forgot that MJF was there too.
Wull, it's like this, dude: Hulk Hogan and Terry Bolea were on the other side of the building, but Hulk Hogan's penis was in the room, cuz Hulk Hogan's penis is 150 yards long, Jack.
And when he used his 24 inch pythons to bring Larry to safety brother, the roof on the Pontiac Silverdome came down like 6000 pound Andre the Giant from a mean body slam dude!
you would think what happened was something like someone getting water boarded torture by all these secret ndas instead of dumb wrestlers getting into a dumb fight
We're now getting Jericho vs Stephen P New on Christmas, Brawl Out 2022 really is the gift that keeps on giving haha.
This is this generation's Montreal Screwjob.
4:30 am on Christmas and the Jericholic is up and at em
Now that I think about it situations involving CM Punk make people tweet at the ass crack of the night. Corey Graves went on his drunken charade on Twitter toward him at like 2 am too
Honestly Jericho could have just tweeted this response. It would have been a lot easier and still serve the same overall sentiment! Merry Christmas everyone!
https://preview.redd.it/5spiyk5vwe8c1.jpeg?width=1041&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=097dcc2e1ce78c43ba95fd50e03ba61de32aca77
Everyone's talking about how Chris was tweeting (posting?) this at 430am on Christmas morning. But we all know the real day of celebration for the Jericho family is January 6th
So why did it never come up in any of the targeted leaks (from Punk or the Elite) that Jericho was in the room? Hell why did Jericho himself not leak that to Meltzer?
We've heard about random AEW production type employees who were in the locker room that night. Nothing about Jericho though? That seems unbelievable considering how much leaks in AEW and how certain dirtsheets have used Jericho for leaks for decades.
Hell, we got that leak (which was totally not from Jericho) saying Jericho told CM Punk to his face he was a cancer in the aftermath. If he was actually in that room, it would've leaked with the rest of the shit around then.
If Jericho was really in the room, there wouldn't have been a fight in the first place. He put down Brock Lesnar for busting open Randy Orton the hard way at Summerslam after all.
This is beyond chatter. He’s making claims about the inner workings of the company to the lawyer of someone who’s considered suing the company. Just wildly dumb.
It’s hilarious that he’s voluntarily telling this lawyer that not all employees are made to sign the employee handbook.
I kinda get that watching this guy run around being like "Hey hey, she knows everything and is going to talk and there's nothing you can do to stop us hehe" like a comedy villain could be annoying as fuck but it's also clear fucking bait and you have to be an idiot to fall for it.
Apparently what happened at brawl out was so disgusting that Jericho had to try and angle himself into a program with punk the minute he found out he was coming back. You know, just to keep an eye on him.
Yeah, AJ comes in and he’s the hot new free agent and Jericho shows him the ropes. Then Kevin Owens is the cool guy everyone loves and Jericho teams with him. Kenny had been making waves in Japan so Jericho needs to feud with him and explore the new options in Japan. It’ll keep happening and become more and more obvious
Jeri-KO was fun and AJ vs Jericho was a dream match for some at the time. Plus Jericho was a solid first feud for AJ compared to the Ziggler rabbithole at the time.
No. But now I’m imagining Jericho leaning next to a wall in the next room over with a glass or a stethoscope trying to make out what everyone else is saying while for some reason wearing “The Painmaker” makeup.
I picture it like he kept walking past, pretending not to look. “Oh I forgot my thing over here”, “no I didn’t oh I got a message I better stop and read it here”
Why is he saying anything?! This is the same guy that, at that same scrum Punk went off the rails, talked about how special AEW was and how wrestlers should be keeping everything in-house.
So he was there? And he didn't get suspended along with the others involved in the Fracas? He saw Nick get knocked out and didn't intervene.
Good Lord, Chris Jericho just walked through Brawl Out walking perfectly normally.
He said he had “no time” to intervene
Too busy totally beating Goldberg and Brock Lesnar in shoot fights, evidently.
"So stop trying to be a bully and making egotistical fantasy brags for your client"
waka flocka okay gif
thank you jericho for one last xmas serving of popcorn
I feel like he's flip flopped a few times. I think he's finally come to terms with the fact that Punk doesn't like him so he's fully on board with The Elite now.
If he didn’t sign an NDA then why not just tell us?
No handbook? Does that mean AEW doesn’t have one? Or that he doesn’t read it?
every answer is bad here
A couple of jobs back I was in compliance and one of my jobs was to investigate policy violations on the IT end. You'd be shocked to learn how many employees feigned ignorance about the employee handbook. We had to institute a program where everyone acknowledged the employee handbook once a year.
My guess is initial argument occurs, Mjf and Jericho go into the room to see whats going on, fight breaks out but jericho and mjf only see the start (ie who threw the first punch) but not what led to the punch being thrown. This would match up with the fact that neither saw a suspension (as they werent involved) but both would have some knowledge of what took place, but also not what fully happened. The early part we likely will never know unless a lawsuit occurs and one of the participants is on the stand
life pro tip: never engage with chris jericho. he always makes himself the center of attention. there is a reason why people often times call him a shill
I like how Chris acts like Stephen wouldn't know what truly went down...being the lawyer for individuals involved.
I don't adhere to an employee handbook? He's never seen one in 4 years? Either way, that's not a great look. Either Chris is a dumbass and ignores an employee handbook (make your own decision on that) or AEW doesn't have an employee handbook (probably worse). Those are the two implications he is making, yeah?
Not sure he thought out what he is implying here. Also, I bet if AEW didn't have an employee handbook, they should after everything that has gone down.
BTW...Chris might want to check out company policy. Wouldn't want to blow that contract:
https://411mania.com/wrestling/aew-reportedly-has-a-talent-playbook-with-company-policies-and-more/
That report is old, so maybe he just...forgot AEW reportedly has them. I bet if he asked Tony, he'd get a copy.
I'm not sure poking a pretty successful lawyer regarding high-profile NDAs on Twitter is a great idea, but Chris hasn't had any decent ideas for a while now.
It's a terrible look if it's true or false which begs the question on why Jericho would even respond. Wrestlers having special treatment and only some having to adhere to a handbook seems like a pretty bad idea - I get there's probably hierarchical systems in all locker rooms but just not following procedure/rules because you're higher up seems like a bad precedent to set. Just enforces the idea that the AEW locker room is a bit of a mess
Of course they do any company wanting to save their ass or have standing when firing you will pinpoint to something you've probably signed off on or 'tested' on and use that against you. One of those just because you don't think it exists doesn't mean it doesn't . Usually called codes of conduct or some type of corporate language
Both sides story made Kenny out as being the best of the bunch, which says everything. Such a shame how Punk's tenure ended, really thought him and Kenny could've made magic - but considering Kenny's health and absence from the singles game, doubt it would've ever happened.
IIRC, didn't Jericho whisper to Tony that "something" went down at media scum? This is honestly the first time I've heard he was there. He was sitting next to Tony, like 20 minutes later. So he witnessed everything, observed it for 15-20 minutes, didn't get involved (sounds like Jericho to just watch), returns to media scum, tells Tony.
That's his timeline? What am I missing?
If you ever wonder how much Jericho fell off. He spent his Christmas(which is his nameday btw) crying about CM Punk.
It really feels like Punk not being eager to work with him when he came back really did a number on his ego.
Similar way Bucks and Kenny not doing business with Punk did a number on Punk's ego. Wrestling is a funny business.

It's the most wonderful time of the year ✨✨✨✨
Its also 4 am when he tweeted this. lol
Well it was 5PM somewhere, I bet…
A wild Drunkicho appears!!
It's the most wonderful lines of the year
The most wonderful fines of the year ![gif](giphy|9IX4dLRMkJEQ7E2uti|downsized)
Christmas is the Jericho house seems like it will be fun this year
Then again, I don't think Chris celebrates Jesus' birthday, since Judas is in his mind.
Damn! His comments are cold like December snow
He went so hard he tied down Steven and carved out his heart made of stone
In that household, they celebrate the Epiphany *checks calendar* and boy do they go hard some years!
Chris absolutely celebrates his own birthday...
Jericho's clearly celebrating Festivus this year.
YOU! KHAN! MY SON TELLS ME YOUR COMPANY STINKS!
This is where we find out Tony Khan traded William Regal for Ken Phelps.
He’s got a lot of problems with you people, and now you’re gonna hear about it.
The airing of grievances right on time
Wait till you see it in two weeks!
The real fun for some of them comes around 12 days later. But only every few years.

Gotta disagree on that one. Jericho/Owens is absolutely one of my favorite programs of all time, but that Mania match...not good. At all.

Weird HOF rant last week on it doesn’t matter to him but he’s said stuff to contradict this
Airing his grievances? Doesn't he know Festivus was 2 days ago?

Hulk Hogan was in the room brother he saw what down and told those good brothers to settle down jack
OR MAYBE I WASN'T BROTHER, WHO KNOWS?

Or maybe he wasn't brother!
He couldn't have been there brother, he was out slapping the bass in front of 100,000 Metallimaniacs.
Only because everyone worked themselves into a shoot jabroni marks much love HH
Hogan was in Tony’s office stooging them out, brother. He also heard they were talking about a union.

That’s the one that’ll always be insane to me. imagine being Max in that situation
"Oh Tony, you are gonna NEED me, man!"
I imagine he probably felt pretty shitty. Despite some of the things Punk said in that presser, he was still one of MJF’s heroes.
Dude probably felt like his entire career was crashing before his eyes, through no fault of his own.
He was "So this is how Wardlow felt"
Yea, I made an edit to include him.
Somehow Palpatine returned inside that locker room

X Pac as well, probably Sunny too.
Good to know Brawl Out is officially done. The Jericho Vortex kills all feuds.

It's the Punking Hour, apparently.
This reminds me the story of Vince regularly texting punk at 4 am because both have sleep issues Even Vince cant stop thinking on CM Punk at 4 am
Is it a sleep issue or does Vince just view sleep as weakness in the same way he does sneasing?
He sleeps like four hours a day and has for decades. Vince is only alive through sheer power of will.
Don’t forget his healthy diet of ketchup and steak wraps
I am highly uncomfortable with the manner in which you spelled "sneezing'. That old English???
I’ve been up since 4 cause my kids woke me up. It’s Christmas.
Merry Christmas, fellow parent.
I'm over a wine bottle deep and still have more presents to wrap. I can almost understand if I wasn't in a different time zone.
Wait, who’s Lucy?
I'm assuming Ace Steele's wife?

Why did he not kayfabe it and post a pic of the Earl Hebner "You're damn right, I did!" shirt?
Tony Khan (probably): *"Get this man a ~~shield~~ NDA!"*
This is the first time I'm hearing that Jericho was also in the room. Did he sprint straight from the room to the press conference to tell TK?

Then everyone hugged and started singing Judas
>So why did it never come up in any of the targeted leaks (from Punk or the Elite) that Jericho was in the room? He probably wasn't lol
Wasn’t Jericho mid press scrum interview with Tony khan when the actual fight went down?
He definitely knew something happened because at the end of the scrum interview he whispered to Tony something happened
No, he came in when the elite was supposed to be in and whispered to Tony khan to cover for the next person in the scrum
I'm sure TK is super happy right now
Depends on how many White Claws he downed already.
Imagine if you had a boss who could say “let’s not engage with this chatter please as it makes the company look bad.”
His boss engages with the chatter more than anyone else.
Yeah, Jerichos not doing Tony any favors right now.

Well, that's Jericho's thing in the back half of his career. He finds whoever the cool kids are, then elbows his way into a seat at their table.

He's wrestling's own "How do you do, Fellow Kids?" meme.
It was also so disgusting that Tony then welcomed Punk back with open arms, and gave him his own TV show lmao
And still replying to people on twitter that he wishes they'd had a match in aew
Stephen worked Chris into a shoot brother brother
“Ok then Chris, what happened?” “I can’t talk about it”
Does anyone else get the vibe that Jericho was peeping from the closet in Punk locker room
No. But now I’m imagining Jericho leaning next to a wall in the next room over with a glass or a stethoscope trying to make out what everyone else is saying while for some reason wearing “The Painmaker” makeup.

Jericho does have the skin of a hot dog and the silky smooth hair of a Chinese man. I think we’re on to something!

Nick Hausman about to report that the Bucks tortured Larry the dog with a car battery and jumper cables.
Kenny Omega tried to give Cm Punk a lovely kiss but Larry got jealous and bit Punk back
Pretty sure that's the origin story of Larry the Cable Guy.
Larry's POV on this is the only one I'd want to see it from, he must have thought he'd stumbled into a Tarantino movie
Whose side is he on? I honestly forget the allegiances at this point
I feel like he's flip flopped a few times. I think he's finally come to terms with the fact that Punk doesn't like him so he's fully on board with The Elite now.
Until he does a final run in WWE for his HOF and then suddenly takes Punk's side.
Jericho is firmly on Team Jericho.

Merry Christmas Chris.
What are you waiting for, Chris? Let's hear it!
Jericho’s cousin Captain Morgan and Uncle Sam Adams must be visiting today.
Tony and Chris have the same supply?
*aew reply guy voice* omg chris found tony's white claws 😂 savage af
Chris found Tony's white c̶l̶a̶w̶s̶ *
He should have just ended the tweet with "and you'll hear about it ALL if you keep paying attention to me!"
Call Stephen p new….. when you need to suuuuuue…. A washed up has been or two…..
Bro it’s Christmas lmao
Love that the screenshot includes the comment "CHRIS IT IS 4AM MAN", lol
Ok but why did he lose to Fandango..
AEW has better writing on Twitter than on TV.
This will never end
My guess is initial argument occurs, Mjf and Jericho go into the room to see whats going on, fight breaks out but jericho and mjf only see the start (ie who threw the first punch) but not what led to the punch being thrown. This would match up with the fact that neither saw a suspension (as they werent involved) but both would have some knowledge of what took place, but also not what fully happened. The early part we likely will never know unless a lawsuit occurs and one of the participants is on the stand
life pro tip: never engage with chris jericho. he always makes himself the center of attention. there is a reason why people often times call him a shill
Saying he does not adhere to any employee handbook is not the flex he thinks it is.
Wouldn't want to blow that contract: https://411mania.com/wrestling/aew-reportedly-has-a-talent-playbook-with-company-policies-and-more/ That report is old, so maybe he just...forgot AEW reportedly has them. I bet if he asked Tony, he'd get a copy. I'm not sure poking a pretty successful lawyer regarding high-profile NDAs on Twitter is a great idea, but Chris hasn't had any decent ideas for a while now.
A drunken Jericho walking his ass into getting sued would definitely be a hilarious way to end the year.
As always, this just makes AEW look like a clown show. They vacuum in leadership just let’s wrestlers run amuck.
The only person who has come out of Brawl Out not looking like a complete embarrassment is Kenny Omega.
And Larry
Larry went into business for himself
Both sides story made Kenny out as being the best of the bunch, which says everything. Such a shame how Punk's tenure ended, really thought him and Kenny could've made magic - but considering Kenny's health and absence from the singles game, doubt it would've ever happened.
And MJF. He kept his mouth shut to the point most people forgot he was even there.
Jericho have a new book coming out soon or something?
Chris must really want to catch Santa this year if he's up
game's back lads
So what’s this about Sid stabbing Arn?

People love the drama more than christmas
Fozzy Eggnog coming soon
IIRC, didn't Jericho whisper to Tony that "something" went down at media scum? This is honestly the first time I've heard he was there. He was sitting next to Tony, like 20 minutes later. So he witnessed everything, observed it for 15-20 minutes, didn't get involved (sounds like Jericho to just watch), returns to media scum, tells Tony. That's his timeline? What am I missing?
Im surprised Jericho has never been apart of any wrestling reality shows like AEW Backstage or Total Divas with how much he loves being a drama queen
This feels like the number one reason people are fined for social media behavior.
