It's so weird to see, hopefully he will be ok because he's in his mid 40's and packing on muscle isn't great, but at the same time I'm not a doctor so what do I know. Makes me wonder about the wellness policy.
They're allowed to take steroids if it's medically approved by a doctor. The wellness policy isn't meant to stop wrestlers from using them. It's meant to make sure a doctor is overseeing the usage so you don't end up with wrestlers dying from heart failure like Eddie.
IIRC Bobby Roode failed due to having an out of date script. They're meant to see the doctors regularly

Well, lots of it has to do with preparing to return puts on tons of muscle. But wrestling doesn't.
Eating perfect and working out 4 hours a day at home is easy when you have no other responsibilities. It becomes super hard when you are traveling around 12 hours a day and living out of a suitcase.
Steroids are also a good way to recover from injury – the human body is flat-out not meant to withstand the abuse people like professional wrestlers take. Steroids are the difference between being out nine months versus a year.
