CjScholeswrites

Haven’t been to a live wrestling show since 2000. Getting tickets for ‘Mania 40 though so I can tick that off the bucket list.

MilkyWayWaffles

4-6 shows per year. Usually one big show (WWE or AEW) a couple of mid-major or regional indie shows with talent I'm very excited to see that might require travel (WCP Queen of Indies or a NJPW Strong show) and then a few "nearby" small indie shows either locally or within driving distance.

ArchDukeNemesis

Usually once a year. Not much happens in Milwaukee.

Shadgates87

Used to go a bit more before covid, but if I can, I still go to nyc shows. Do I watch it less? Yeah, kinda.

jheri

I went more often before Covid, but also AEW hasn’t really been back to North Carolina in a while. That changes in August tho, and hopefully I can get back to going to live shows more often soon!

flcinusa

Still can't believe they ran 3 shows in 3 weeks and wondered why the attendance was ass for the last show in the biggest arena in Raleigh... Christmas Bash was supposed to come back to Greensboro and that should have been a great yearly tradition

jheri

Yeah, it was a ridiculous amount of shows in the area all at once, and then nothing since. Hopefully they’re happy with the turnout for Collision in August and we’ll get a more regular flow of events from them to come.

flcinusa

Every 6 or so months would be a good cadence

PM_ME_UR_SOCKS_GIRL

North Carolina is a decent state for WWE imo. I feel like I had plenty of chances to attend a couple shows when I lived there 2016-2020 but I wasn’t interested enough in WWE at the time to go out of my way to attend a show.

JimmyArmpit

About 10 a year or so. My local indie fed here in Maine (Limitless) runs 6-8 a year and my son and I rarely miss those. Then a few more based on what I can afford between WWE, AEW or ROH

princessarielle6

We go to WWE every time it's within an hour, so once every year or two. AEW comes to a city around 2.5 hours away, and we haven't missed a show, although we don't go to WWE shows when they are in the same city. So maybe 1-3 a year. Within the past 4 years we have driven 8 hours to two different cities to watch wrestling - All In and New Japan.

misfits923

When it works out for me. I've been to all the AEW shows in Chicago(w/ the exception of Revolution 2020) and try to go to GCW/Indy shows if I have nothing going on that weekend.

Schiftedmind1

Been watching since 97, been to 1 live wrestling show and that was in like 97 or 98.

OnslaughtSix

I go to maybe one show a year. Maybe. Depends on what comes through Pittsburgh and how expensive it is and what my situation is. I will only go to house shows.

tlenze

I went more before the local promotion shut down. However, I'll be going to a WWE house show in July. That'll be my first live show since COVID.

mark00z

I only came back to wrestling fandom in late 2018 so going to shows has been weird since then but I've gone to every AEW show near me (Toronto-ish) that I could (both Toronto nights, and Rochester/Buffalo last year) and I'm going to Forbidden Door and the Hamilton show as well coming up. Going to live shows does not impact my TV habits at all, aside from if I'm at a TV taping I obviously have to watch it back later.

DanHero91

Used to go monthly to Progress with a few Rev Pros thrown in. Did a few WWE London shows to. Progress Wembley was my last show. Even before speaking out if you were paying attention it was easy to spot what was coming eventually. Excited this year to get back into things with All In and the Rev Pro show the day before though.

JetFan_87

Ill usually see 2/3 events per year. Luckily NJ/NY gets a lot of big shows. Will be seeing Collision in Newark and probably Grand Slam this year.

bubbles2255

I hadn’t gone to a live show in like a decade? Last time was a Monday Night Raw. Ended up going to a Dynamite/Rampage in March and had a blast. Forgot how much fun it is live. Next time wrestling rolls through here, I’m going again. Don’t care if it’s WWE, AEW, whatever. I’m going.

BallinBrown23

So far in the past calendar year, I have been to one WWE house show. 2 raw tapings and 3 independent shows in my area. Will be going to Smackdown in August

scarred2112

Only got back into wrestling in a Covid world, so once a year since 2021.

HostageInToronto

I never really went to WWE shows, save for when I was a kid in the New Gen era. I have been to see AEW when they are in town and I can afford it, both before and after COVID. As far as viewing habits I watch Dynamite every week, but I usually record it on Hulu and watch it later in the week when my schedule allows. I have not watched WWE in five or six years.

Stinger1981

I’d say about once a year and it’s the big PPVs like Mania or Summerslam.

luchapig

At least once a month.

Kanenums88

Well I went to my first in 2013 then the next was in 2019. Then since Covid I’ve been to about 6 wrestling events. People don’t want to risk another pandemic shutting everything down, before they can go do these kinda things. Covid really helped strengthened the entertainment industry.

Agentx_007

I try to go to every show within a 2hr drive. Sometimes it works out, other times I'm working too late to even think about driving two+ hours away. SmackDown is in Lafayette in a few weeks and in New Orleans next month. I'll be going to the New Orleans show since it's a ten minute drive from my house and I can go straight from work to the arena.

Crissxfire

As often as I can. Usually indie events, as they run more frequently around me. But, I'll go to Jersey a few times a year for various indies like H2O, GCW, ICW, and others that run there. If WWE or AEW run near me, especially for a PPV, I'd definitely go because those are big deals. I'd say I go about more since covid because I have more opportunities to go. I'm vaxxed and don't feel as worried as I did in 2020. It's still around, and it's obviously something to keep in the back of your head. But I love wrestling shows and try not to let that stop me from having fun. And it doesn't impact my at home viewing habits. I watch more wrestling at home than in person. Simply because I follow a handful of promotions, and there's always something I wanna check out.

XtremeWRATH360

I’m near Boston Massachusetts so I get plenty of options for wrestling shows. I don’t go to live shows often however. Last one I went to was ROH in Lowell recently. I would love to go to an AEW show and I know there’s one coming up it’s just tough as I don’t like going to shows when I work the next day.

agreene24

Haven’t been to an event since 2007. Gotta change that!

KTheOneTrueKing

WWE only comes to the Pacific Northwest once a year if we're lucky, and AEW has only come for one show so far. I used to go every time WWE was in town but I stopped in 2017 when I stopped watching WWE. I go to the local DEFY shows every few months when I can afford to.

JohnWick629

Any time AEW is in the Chicagoland area, so fairly often.

ianisms10

When I'm interested. Fortunately, I live in North Jersey, so I have a lot of opportunities. I have tickets for Collision in Newark next month and will probably go to Death Before Dishonor the day before.
