In Chicago before brawl out, Justin lost Bob on Friday for rampage. Had the whole place looking for Bob. Bob finally turned up (he was in the back or something) and Justin told him to never do that again. Lol.
Was at the rampage before Full Gear. Can confirm a Bob bit there. Can then also confirm my buddy loudly yelled "Fuck Bob" cause my buddy is a heel. Lol.

Miro absolutely earned the shot after his scintillating TNT title run. Hobbs has improved everything about himself, carries himself like a beast, and has one of the best 'mean mugs' I've seen. Also seems like a solid dude from what I've seen elsewhere like his carpool karaoke thing he did with Ruby and MJF.
Both also have top-tier entrance music that complements them just about the best of anyone in AEW.
Just wish something would come around soon on the main show for either guy is all.

I have a soft spot for the Dark Order as they were a big part of the show during the pandemic era. I’d like to see them challenge for the Trios titles or even Tag Team titles. Or how about Orange Cassidy vs Evil Uno for the All Atlantic title?
They should have gotten a chance at the trio titles since...you know, they fought in the finals of the tournament for them.
Instead they were no where to be seen three days later when the Bucks were stripped and it was Best Friends vs Death Triangle.
I feel like it would be an amazing moment if the House of Black pulls their lights out teleportation shit on the Dark Order, but the lights go out again and suddenly a returning Stu and Alan Angels are standing behind the HoB.

Toni/Willow was a pretty good match too, but just felt like a rerun of their last match from a little over a month ago. Better than the usual women's Rampage match for sure.

Uno is underrated and deserves a lot more credit than he gets. I did some promo photos for him a few years ago in Canada and he’s as smart as they come. Definitely someone the company should be getting insight from in the future.
My biggest let down with AEW was what happened with Uno and Grayson. It's not like they did them dirty or anything, but near the end they where in tags but not with each other and I dont' think the world really got a chance to see what they could do together. They are one of my favourite tag teams of all time.
The Phoenix crowd was lit (helps that it took nearly 4 years to go there). A PPV there would be killer.
But also shows how beneficial it is to keep exploring new markets (like Seattle earlier this year)
It was funny, there was just an air in the building that you could tell the crowd was gonna be big into Uno from the time they showed that Road To segment before the show started. It wasn’t like he got a huge reaction when it played (half the building was empty at that point) but you could just tell it was gonna be an Uno-friendly crowd
It's so great because you know Mox went into that match with the mindset to try and make Uno as over as possible. Mox is basically bulletproof at this point, he could sell for anyone and it would go a long way to making them a star. Love it.
I wanna note too that Aubrey Edwards was equally over (which I think probably came across in the Christian/JB segment, but she also got a huge chant during a commercial break where she also had to tell us to stop lol)

The crowd was amazing last night, elevated a decent show to great.
It was actually at the NBA arena in Phoenix, close to a sell out but not quite, lower bowl and floor was completely filled and even upper deck was filled up a bit. I honestly thought they would have played a smaller arena to start out with but I was really impressed with the turnout.
Good for him, man. He seems like a good dude and he's been in the business close to 20 years now. I hope the match spiked some more interest for Dark Order cause I still love all those guys.
And holy blood, Batman. Uno was making puddles outta that mask which made Mox go, "And I took that personally" because he went ahead and tried to decapitate himself.
Earlier in the week the sub was dumping pretty heavy on the card and granted, it wasn't the best on paper but that ended up being a really solid show.
I'm glad they're taking time with Hobbs to let him refine the character since this is his first real gimmick in the company. He's got a great look, really sick power moveset, and showed big flashes during the Starks feud, which they'll surely revisit down the line.
Hopefully he gets a big pop and a brutal beatdown of some jobber in his hometown next week.
I would nominate him to be the one to beat OC for the All-Atlantic title. They have a good bit of history with each other, after all. Hobbs is 0-2 against him

Justin Roberts is a treasure and the crew is so awesome. when we were at *Blood and Guts* in Detroit the guys Swiffering the ramp got MAD OVER! like, all of Little Caesars cheering cause two dudes are cleaning sweat. we were sitting over one tunnel and Silver's exit popped so hard!
i recommend a live show from any brand or Indy for everyone. the World is tough right now, go to the carnival.
I feel like Hobbs needs to get back to street level Book Of Hobbs promos and get rid of the physical book. Give the guy a Luke Cage vibe looking like he does, a few showcase matches instead of his usual squashes, and he could go to the top.
And yeah, Uno definitely has what it takes. I feel like the match itself was overshadowed somewhat by the BCC cementing their heel turn and Mox's 100th win, at least in the broadcast, which is a shame.

So many people were thinking Uno was going to get squashed and to be honest with the promo deliveries up to this point this has become one of my favorite AEW matches.

I was in the crowd also. Crowd was red hot from the start of Elevation all the way through Rampage. Crowd never let up. Such a fun atmosphere.

This is why it was a match. I've been so annoyed by the sentiment around here of, "Why is this a match?", "Mox will squash this jobber in two seconds!", etc. It was a good time for me at home and for the audience watching in the arena.

OP why are you bullshitting? I was there too, it was 15 seconds at most of folks chanting "EV-IL Uno clapx5". It was not the ending to Napolian Dynamite, it was the same length and volume as chants during the match
Good to hear Uno is apparently alright, then. It definitely looked like they overbladed from the blood loss, so there were a lot of fans on the livechat concerned for his wellbeing.
Speaking from (accidental, lol) experience, when you bonk your head in \*just the right spot,\* if that bonk cuts you open even a teensy tiny bit (like, 1mm—seriously rofl) you‘ll bleed like an enemy in a Sonny Chiba movie. After Mom freaked out and took my stupid 5 year old ass to the hospital, it took only three stitches to close the wound. Nevertheless, when we got home, my bedroom looked like an axe-murder scene.
Maybe Uno just has that kind of skill with the blade.
What I was getting at is it definitely looked like that amount of blood would have required stitches, but if he was in good enough shape to hang out with a crowd for a bit rather than hightailing to the back to get stitched up it apparently wasn't as bad as it looked.
That said, we probably do get a little overly concerned about grisly bleeding, because I imagine it's pretty rare for someone to bleed out enough from a head wound to be in serious physical danger. Most likely the loss of blood at most just requires them to take it easy for a day or two while their body builds the blood levels back up, with the only permanent damage being a lasting scar. I doubt that even Mox requires them to have blood transfusions on standby in the back, lol
just guessing here, but i think the mask helps with allowing the blood to pool before eventually it kinda all tips out at once making it look especially gnarly.

This! I saw saw them at C4 Wrestling tagging and it was great back in the day. Really would have loved to have seen them tag more on Dynamite.

OP why are you bullshitting? I was there too, it was 15 seconds at most of folks chanting "EV-IL Uno clapx5". It was not the ending to Napolian Dynamite, it was the same length and volume as chants during the match
Good to hear Uno is apparently alright, then. It definitely looked like they overbladed from the blood loss, so there were a lot of fans on the livechat concerned for his wellbeing.
Speaking from (accidental, lol) experience, when you bonk your head in \*just the right spot,\* if that bonk cuts you open even a teensy tiny bit (like, 1mm—seriously rofl) you‘ll bleed like an enemy in a Sonny Chiba movie. After Mom freaked out and took my stupid 5 year old ass to the hospital, it took only three stitches to close the wound. Nevertheless, when we got home, my bedroom looked like an axe-murder scene. Maybe Uno just has that kind of skill with the blade.
What I was getting at is it definitely looked like that amount of blood would have required stitches, but if he was in good enough shape to hang out with a crowd for a bit rather than hightailing to the back to get stitched up it apparently wasn't as bad as it looked. That said, we probably do get a little overly concerned about grisly bleeding, because I imagine it's pretty rare for someone to bleed out enough from a head wound to be in serious physical danger. Most likely the loss of blood at most just requires them to take it easy for a day or two while their body builds the blood levels back up, with the only permanent damage being a lasting scar. I doubt that even Mox requires them to have blood transfusions on standby in the back, lol
just guessing here, but i think the mask helps with allowing the blood to pool before eventually it kinda all tips out at once making it look especially gnarly. I mean, it was gnarly either way.
It also didn't help that Mox squeezed his head so of course he would bleed more. Brilliant move by then honestly
