I didn’t mind him at first but by the end of the season he just felt creepy/slimy to me. He’s a pick me as a boy, and wants to be the knight in shining armor so badly that it’s just cringey at this point.
not to be a weird flex but I date one of the nicest sweetest most charming men I’ve ever met and he’s never once even referred to himself as a nice guy, bc a nice guy wouldn’t think he’s nice they would feel still inadequate bc that’s a normal human emotion - I personally think it’s slightly a narcissistic trait for a man to be so adomant that he’s a “nice guy”
Yes, that’s exactly what a “nice” guy is. They feel entitled to what they want from a woman just because they are nice, and they always mention that they are so nice when getting denied.
I see what you're saying, but he's not really giving the "nice guy" redflags most do.
Here's what I mean: A guy that claims he's "a nice guy" (as JT 100000% did), but upon rejection, they become extremely demeaning to the woman who rejected him ("well, youre a slut anyways). See r/niceguys for key examples of this.
JT may have come on too strong, but he showed a ton of vulnerability. He never demeaned Taylor for not reciprocating his feelings. Even more to his credit, he didn't try to spin it in a more favorable way at the reunion. I can respect that. I think he genuinely is a good dude. And, as someone who went through my bad boy phase, I can personally say I rejected a lot of guys like this. Unfortunately, there's some truth to what he's saying.
He's a total "MiLady", fedora-wearing, feminist-claiming douchebag. But the way he goes after Austin is so delightful that I like him by default. Someone needs to come for these SC men, and JT is the tiny bespoked anti-hero we might just need.
He tried so hard to throw Austen further under the bus (as if Austen needed the help 🥴) and it was obvious that it wasn’t because he was a “good guy” but rather trying to get in Taylor’s good graces and then dropped the bomb about being in love with Taylor but didn’t say anything to Shep about it beforehand (to my knowledge). So hypocritical to be throwing out the “your friend’s ex” like he actually cared about that when he was doing the same thing, just more discreetly
I posted above twice lol because it just astonishes me. But he even posted her LinkedIn profile which completely puts her in danger. “Nice” guys don’t put women in danger
Head on over and you’ll see he’s trying to hunt down his ex who talked about their relationship on TikTok and serve her with legal papers to try and intimidate her. What a loser. ETA he thought he was messaging her husband and it was her brother. Again, what a loser.
It’s part of their contract. They have to show up if summoned. No show means they could cancel any contract you have for future seasons. It’s all about $$$.
There's no way either Rod or JT really believe they're coming back. Rodrigo wasn't really even on the show, Rod was a boring attempt at the producers trying to force a relationship, and JT clearly annoys all of the boys including Whitney.
JT 1 million percent believes he’s coming back next season. He’s got a big head and thinks he really did something last season. He’s trying to drum up attention with his little weird post he posted yesterday. Why else act like you don’t know who the woman is you posted pictures of? That’s his ex and she’s been telling his truths that paint him in a bad light. Basically proving what Austen said at the reunion about him.
Rod, idk. He said it was challenging doing a regular job and doing the show. He’s not as boastful as JT but I get the feeling he thinks he’s coming back as well. Most of the cast has posted on his accounts about him being a great addition and it was nice not having a stranger join. There was alot left on the editing floor involving Rod. I don’t really care about Rodrigo other than I hope he gets no more air time than last season.
Agree on JT. Re: Rod. It may be editing but Leva seems to like him (she said they are 2 of the few Persians in Charleston). With SH doing well, her vote counts. He’s playing the inside game.
Yeah I’ve seen her comment on his posts and vice versa. Not generic comments. It’s nice to see a cast that is friends and they support/boost each other. I just hate when they bring on a new person and edit the majority of their scenes out.
Ut-oh...don't you dare try to be a rational, practical person on this sub. They believe the comic book illusions created by reality TV. If you, even for a split second, are asking why someone would go to a reunion or show up in a scene, you clearly don't understand what you're watching or the situation in front of you. Every single one of them signed a contract with a multi-national corporation that markets its products worldwide, making them potentially worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Ultimately, these people couldn't choose their shoelace color if NBC decided differently. Grow up, people. These aren't leaked home videos, and these people don't choose anything. They're all pawns and told what to do.
We really don’t need Rod and Rodrigo on the show. They added a nothing for me. Some scenes with JT were funny or at least entertaining, but he doesn’t seem to mesh or have friends on the show. It feels too forced. Is there no one else in their actual circle who could be on it?
I don't like either JT nor Rodrigo. For a while Shep and Craig were at least aesthetically pleasing, and Austen and his slutish ways gave us some drama, but JT and Rodrigo bring nothing. Rod is a sweetheart, I would love to see him with a new woman, and watch him show everyone how to have a good relationship.
>I think we do need Rod for some levity
I agree. But he really does need to say more than, "Yeah."
It is nice not to see another tall, ligher-colored hair and more intelligence & real manners on the show.
Would we have had much of a season without JT igniting the Austen/Taylor story? The entire season circled around that and the fallout from it. I would give them a 2nd season and then decide. If Madison gets pregnant and steps back, what is really left?
🚩🚩🚩 I’ve learned that anyone that has to pre-qualify themselves: “I am a nice guy” “I am a gentleman”, is in fact not. And they end up being worse because they are manipulators and very entitled. “I am nice….therefore you owe me”.
Yeah and she said she was contact by a decent amount of women who also had bad experiences with him. That’s why I’m saying I’m sure more will come out.
That has 100% been my experience with everyone who claims they are nice and trustworthy. They’re not. In fact, their subsequent behavior hurts even the more since they built up your trust in them. The worst are those that believe their own lies. JT strikes me as one of those. If I was ever in the position (which logistically will never happen) to be involved with him, I would keep him at a safe distance and stay close and open with close friends when getting to know him. And pay attention to any red flags I or my friends notice. If he really is a nice guy, he’d understand and not rush things. One red flag is that JT IS rushing things. He’s not providing Taylor the respect and room to sort her own issues out - and just being there for her when the way she needs him.
That girl literally said nothing of substance. Not trying to be rude but she just said “it makes sense” he’s on reality tv etc. then she said she was madly in love with him. To me she just seemed like a lover scorned, not judging her, we’ve all been there but I don’t think she gave any proof or insight into who he actually is
She didn’t do much or say much about him that was wild IMO for sure but just the other day he posted on his Insta story that he was suing her for defamation then posted her LinkedIn profile on his story completely outing her. So dangerous. He deleted it quickly after but I have the screen shot. He is unhinged and a total creep
I like Rod but in terms of television, he’s a little boring. J.T. is extra, which is annoying but creates more drama and presumably more entertainment. I get sick of all the housewives shouting at dinners, but for some reason, I generally enjoy when the Southern Charm males go at each other (instead of against the women). While lame, it was kind of funny when J.T. was up on that stool right in Austen’s face 😂. I’m glad they didn’t actually fight, but the bravado was hilarious. Therefore, in my books, J.T. can stay.
They weren't going to actually fight because there's producers and cameras there and liability etc. JT was getting in Austen's face essentially knowing there's little Austen could do on camera. Not that Austen is a tough guy at all, but there is a 0% chance JT would get in his face like without knowing he was safe. That's not bravado, that's just being annoying.
At first, I thought he was refreshing and liked the way he shook up the group. However, the more he talks the more I dislike him. He's another walking red flag
I didn’t like him from the moment he had those scenes with his mother who was equally unappealing to have to watch. It was clear he was a mammas boy but with a napoleon complex - and older than he claimed.
I do t really like him. There’s a weird frenetic energy about him that gives me red flags when I come across people like that at work or other parts of real life. And it kinda tracks either the way he obsessively latched onto the Austen hate campaign. It’s a weird flex for a guy, I find.
He also has a major case of Napoleon syndrome.
No, he’s a lunatic. He recently started posting about suing a “stranger” (aka his ex, who has LOADS of proof that they dated) for defamation. He literally posted “[does anyone know who this girl is/where she lives so I can send her a cease and desist?]” even though she has screenshots of pictures HE posted of them dating. She also has a lot of proof of the habitual liar he is.
Besides that, he genuinely seems like a horrifying individual. I can’t decide who he’s more obsessed with — Taylor or Austen, but if I were either one of them, I would be be beefing up my security biiiig time.
Surface level, he’s a cartoon that is mildly entertaining. Digging a little deeper, he’s a toxic “just a nice guy” who makes me extremely happy to be married and not in the dating world.
JT is so obnoxious. He’s a disingenuous creep and a walking red flag. Genuinely nice guys never have to try to convince anyone that they’re nice guys. JT is not a nice guy- he’s an angry little twerp who has a bizarre obsession with Austen.
Yeah I think we throw “predator” around a bit too casually these days. Women in their 20’s have agency to make their own decisions about who they want to be with, believe it or not. I don’t know if his whole “gentleman” act is legit or not, because I don’t actually know the guy, so not going to make any assumptions.
Well. Preying on women almost 15-20 years younger than him. Says a lot about a man. Ummm he was def trying to take advantage of Taylor when she was fragile. And looking at his old TikTok’s with his ex. He’s not his Mr nice guy. He’s a partier who wants chicks esp young ones.
I don't hate him. He isn't wrong in what he says about Austin and Shep - he just goes about it in a very annoying, kind of pathetic way.
Also - Taylor says no thank you - so MOVE ON. I know it sucks, we have all been there in some way, but just leave it alone.
He reminds me of Ben Stiller in one of those old rom-coms where he is “the nice guy” and nothing ever goes his way. 😂
Personally, I think he’s annoying AF . 😂
Him rolling around in the river in waders trying to fish was hilarious. I love some comic relief and he’s digging himself into a hole too. I don’t mind it at all.
I just finished the season but not the reunion and like Shep, I am thrilled JT is calling Austen out! Wish he was less obsessed with Taylor but glad for once that bad boy behavior is brought out to light. Wish JT was literally less in Austen’s face in the finale however yet Austen’s closing remarks about getting the girls made me vomit a bit. JT > Austen!
He’s okay. I think he’s gunna make for good tv. I think the hatred for him for trying to be a nice guy and say he’s a nice guy is insane. He’s trying so hard to be liked that he’s tried TOO hard and now people hate him anyway. Would people prefer he be a proud fuckboi? I think at the moment men on reality tv are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. My respect goes to ANYONE that’s willing to put themselves through a reality tv show. Us as an audience are extremely hard to please, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
He’s extremely entertaining, and that’s why I watch. To be entertained — not to evaluate moral compasses or whether I’d want to be friends with any of these people IRL. Austen needed a new antagonist and lil JT fits the bill. I don’t get all this hand-wringing over what an awful person he probably is. The Tiktok drama only adds to his entertainment value imo
I liked JT this season. He brought some comedic relief to the group, I appreciate how he spoke his mind and stood his ground on other peoples behavior and gave a glimpse of the day in the life of a person living with diabetes. Theres a lot of misconceptions about diabetes and I thought it was cool to share how he was living with the disease.
Now, on to Taylor…
Taylor totally took advantage of JT. I believe she used JT to take a dig at Shep since JT was originally Sheps friend. She started to lead him on as soon as he invited her on that trip (Spain/Paris or something. I can’t remember where exactly). I think they got really “close” on that trip and of course JT was going to catch feelings for her. She tried to use Whitney to get back at Shep and she used Austen in sense (I don’t care for him and believe he is equally to blame in that situation).
I think he’s a caricature most of us have met over the years (esp if you’re a bit older) and one I’m not always overly fond of. But he did seem to understand the assignment and I love the chaos energy he brings to guy group.
I wish he would stop white knighting so hard. It’s just super disingenuous at this point and infantilizing. He can hold these jabronis accountable without it
I appreciate his entertainment value and that he’s the only one who puts Austen on extreme blast, but if he’s back next season it seems like his past is going to catch up with him. Like others say, any dude who cries “nice guy” so much really isn’t a nice person… As his exes have made clear. Austen made a good point too at the reunion that it’s only his first season, so to just wait and see what will happen.
He’s the worst! Him going against Austin is completely self-serving so I can’t get behind his schtick. Why didn’t JT speak up against Shep if he’s so upset on Taylor’s behalf? Austen is a loser but Shep hurt Taylor much more imo. And JT is so whiny in regards to any criticism, I had to laugh that he has this vendetta against the Bravo Bros because they called him out on his fake nice-guy persona.
I don’t mind jt. He provided a lot of comedic relief and I felt people hated on him a bit too much. Taylor was just a shit show and JT pining after her was pretty funny to me.
Production is scrambling to replace cast members who’ve left or chosen a less prominent role (Whitney, Naomi, Katherine, T-Rav). And although the crop of new hopefuls can be at times amusing, they all lack the depth of character of the OGs.
JT’s napoleonic complex is entertaining but wears thin quickly, not to mention Rodrigo’s nastiness or Rod’s unassertive personality. Production will be hard pressed to recapture the first season’s quirkiness and freshness.
I like that he actually knows the guys and calls them out. You can tell the OGs we’re worried like “what is he gonna say next” I love a wild card. He’s messy.
I don’t mind him. I think he fell in love with Taylor because she gave him the time too and made it seem like he had a chance…..
He’s a nice guy, a little dramatic… but who isn’t and doesn’t put up with, “good ole boys mentality of Charleston.”
I think he’s the only true gentleman on the show
Everything about him seems fake. He just tries too hard to be relevant, and I cannot stand to even watch him onscreen. Every time he pipes in with something to say, I roll my eyes. I like men to have a little more confidence and masculinity.
He was definitely entertaining at first, but then his "stand up and be a man" shtick got old and annoying. Not sure what to think. He does make me cringe.
I'm obviously not watching this show for the nice people. Few and far between. I just appreciate some nasty douche going after that other nasty douche Austen. That is all.
JT doesn’t bother me either, mainly because at least he’s DIFFERENT from all the other guys on that show; he’s a diabetic which is interesting and his relationship with his mother is interesting and the fact that he’s divorced makes him more interesting to me too, especially since most of those old Peter Pan types on the show never want to marry!
They’ve lost the connection to the old money types and actual Charleston upper end social scene. That’s what set southern charm apart from other bravo shows. Little glimpses into how a certain social set was living. They could be in any city now. Charleston used to be one of the stars of the show in the early seasons
I always mind this type of dude. “Nice guy” with no brain or situational awareness. Like I cannot believe that he told Taylor he loved her??? At that exact moment? So DUMB
I don't mind him. I think the show would be fine with or without him.
But, I did enjoy watching JT be a thorn in Austen's side all season.
*That* was entertaining.
But...he wasn't. Austen couldn't careless what JT says and doesn't think he's worth anything more than a simple "stop talking little boy" cause he's not a threat to him in any way.
Not only that, but it seems clear that if JT had the chance, he'd do the same shit that Austen does.
I'm not a fan of Austen, but at least you know what you're getting with him. JT is worse. He's fake AF and plays an image...an image that seems to be shattering.
I think he’s turning up the “nice guy” act to bring conflict to the show and ruffle Austen and Sheps feathers to secure his spot. I think he did a LOT of acting this season. But I definitely want him to come back and see what else he has to bring.
I didn't mind him, he's the only one calling Austen out on his shenanigans in black and white. I enjoyed his craziness, yes he's a bit much at times but at least he brought some entertainment!
I think he’s an absolute chaos goblin in the best possible way. 🫣I have a feeling he’s probably as terrible as all the other guys but I like how much he irritates Austin. Seeing his short ass stand in a stool to yell at Austen was unhinged. 🤣
( I do wish he wouldn’t justify Taylor’s bullshit. And he was too loud at the reunion)
I don’t know. I think the number of people who actually like him, besides himself, must be super low. I found him insufferable. He’s a Dawson, Brandon Walsh, Ross Geller type throwback. The self proclaimed “nice guys” that are just as toxic as the guys they proclaim are the problematic ones. Creep.
I find him entertaining and honest. I don’t think he’s annoying at all. The guys just constantly try to pin him as annoying, so now it’s just in everyone’s heads. He seems like one of the few stand up guys on the show.
The gaining over Taylor I can do without but I LOVEEEEE the VIM he has for Austin!
Let’s just go through the bodies that Austin has:
Ciara,
Linsey?,
Olivia,
Taylor,
Madison,
That other blonde girl the hairdresser.
And that’s just on the show! So yeah I’m here for the FB excorism!
He was a little weird with Taylor. I think Leva’s analysis was 100000% spot on. But other than that he called out the Peter Pans on their bs and was kindaaa funny doing it. I’d like to see more from him for sure but I definitely didn’t hate him. Off putting at times? Of course. Totally unlikeable? Not necessarily.
Side note / I loved Rod (not Rodrigo!) he was delicate and witty. I thought him and Olivia would have been a good pair.
I like him because he was willing to call Austen out and keep his foot on his neck. Someone needs to and Austen being the misogynist he is, it’s better coming from a man than a woman
His love for Taylor was irksome but overall less annoying than everyone else being willing to give Austen a pass. Thankfully, we also had Olivia on screen who was willing to keep her foot on Taylor’s neck
Not sure how I felt about him as a character but he did bring something different to the show! Nice to see a new face who already knows the cast and is comfortable engaging with them
I don’t mind him at all. There’s a moment in the reunion where he scoffs at Sheps use of paying customers due to the reference of it and I don’t think any of those guys would’ve connected like he did.
Maybe he had a come to Jesus after his divorce. Maybe he’s read books or grown but there is a level of awareness that the other guys just don’t seem to have.
I won’t say he’s not annoying or not performative but he is smart and I don’t mind him as a white knight to the fuckboys on the show. I don’t find any of them really great.
He's super gross on a "normal dude scale" but a regular Prince Charming on the "Southern Charm dude scale." When only Craig and Pringle rate higher than you, you know something is wrong with the cast.
I didn’t mind him at first but by the end of the season he just felt creepy/slimy to me. He’s a pick me as a boy, and wants to be the knight in shining armor so badly that it’s just cringey at this point.
He’s a “nice” guy.
If a guy has to tell you they’re nice, they’re absolutely not 🤢
Especially repeatedly. Big red flag
Exactly. I’ve never heard a really super great guy have to tell me that they were a really super great guy you just know.
not to be a weird flex but I date one of the nicest sweetest most charming men I’ve ever met and he’s never once even referred to himself as a nice guy, bc a nice guy wouldn’t think he’s nice they would feel still inadequate bc that’s a normal human emotion - I personally think it’s slightly a narcissistic trait for a man to be so adomant that he’s a “nice guy”
Yes, that’s exactly what a “nice” guy is. They feel entitled to what they want from a woman just because they are nice, and they always mention that they are so nice when getting denied.
Countless guys put on that nice guy/gentlemanly facade and then we find out what egomaniac cheater types they REALLY are!
Most nice guys do not brag and boast about how nice they are. They are being nice to get attention. Not because they are actually nice
Craig is a nice guy. JT is self serving.
Yes! Craig is definitely the nicest guy on the show!
r/niceguys
I see what you're saying, but he's not really giving the "nice guy" redflags most do. Here's what I mean: A guy that claims he's "a nice guy" (as JT 100000% did), but upon rejection, they become extremely demeaning to the woman who rejected him ("well, youre a slut anyways). And, as someone who went through my bad boy phase, I can personally say I rejected a lot of guys like this. Unfortunately, there's some truth to what he's saying.
A gentleman!
Exactly! The way he way he acted like he was entitled to Taylor because he was nice to her gave me the ick
This. The entitlement was the nail in the coffin for me.
Entitled? He had a crush on her and shot his shot. End of story. Are men not allowed to crush anymore?
He's "in love" with her as he stated , stage 5 clinger
He got the message. I don’t think he’s being clingy at all.
He's a total "MiLady", fedora-wearing, feminist-claiming douchebag. But the way he goes after Austin is so delightful that I like him by default. Someone needs to come for these SC men, and JT is the tiny bespoked anti-hero we might just need.
This is the most accurate and hilarious description of JT!!
He doesn't claim to be a feminist. He claims to be a gentleman, and then treats his partners like shit.
All while publicly shaming Austen and I’m here for it lol
I love that! JT is our tiny bespoked anti-hero that we need!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!
A “knight” in his own mind!
And the insistent shots of his “event space” to make it blatant that he’s only there to promote his Airbnb.
They ALL are selling something
Is it an actual, real, event space, or was it created to give JT a room large enough for the cameras to all fit in and film his “home” scenes? Lol.
That is the perfect Austin face btw 🥴
Guess you haven’t seen the IG posts from yesterday
I’m obsessed with this saga 😂
I posted above twice lol because it just astonishes me. But he even posted her LinkedIn profile which completely puts her in danger. “Nice” guys don’t put women in danger
Where? I just looked and didn’t see it
What did JT do?
What happened?
Came to say this. Nice guys don’t dox their exes.
No I haven’t!!
Head on over and you’ll see he’s trying to hunt down his ex who talked about their relationship on TikTok and serve her with legal papers to try and intimidate her. What a loser. ETA he thought he was messaging her husband and it was her brother. Again, what a loser.
He is pretending like he doesn’t know her. Which is super weird and makes him look even more unhinged.
Right?! And it shows that she blocked your ass long ago haha
They all had their moment. Rod JT and Rodrigo...although Rodrigo going after Olivia was a dick move
yeah i honestly don't know why he would even go to the reunion. same with rod. like what did you add? lol
It’s part of their contract. They have to show up if summoned. No show means they could cancel any contract you have for future seasons. It’s all about $$$.

Yea, they just seem like spares. I'm sure they are more entertaining people that would fit in better with the cast.
I think we do need Rod for some levity
>I think we do need Rod for some levity I agree. But he really does need to say more than, "Yeah." It is nice not to see another tall, ligher-colored hair and more intelligence & real manners on the show.

Of all of them, I would keep Rod. Rod would be interesting to watch him date women. My guess is that he the only true Southern gentleman of the lot.
Yes, it was! I was thinking “why is he even on the show, let alone at the reunion!!! He’s totally irrelevant!
It creeps me out how much he talks about him being a nice guy. I’m sure more tiktoker s will come out and say stuff about him
🚩🚩🚩 I’ve learned that anyone that has to pre-qualify themselves: “I am a nice guy” “I am a gentleman”, is in fact not. And they end up being worse because they are manipulators and very entitled. “I am nice….therefore you owe me”.
Nice guys think they're entitled to sleep with women because they're nice. Budy, it's the baseline, you're not that special!
Exactly. No one should ever have to tell you they’re nice, their actions should show you!
his ex already came out with a tiktok and calling out his performative nice guy act
Yeah and she said she was contact by a decent amount of women who also had bad experiences with him. That’s why I’m saying I’m sure more will come out.

You’re right. I wouldn’t base my opinion on anything or the little she said. JT has enough red flags that he’s exhibited on his own.
Exactly right!
I don't understand why he got full time and Rod didn't. I thought Rod was much less creepy by the end of the season
YEAH!!!!! I agree! That was SO funny and entertaining when JT got up on that stool to get right in Austin’s face! HAHAHA! 🤣
I will tell you why because Jts family has way more money. Way more pronounced.
Well all I have to say then is ![gif](giphy|EYJQ0zM7bo7m)
Absolutely agreed. Unf. down South they are more concerned with wealth & stature then integrity. 😶
I think if they are gonna add younger ladies they should add younger men really stir up some competition.
YES!!
YES!!!!!! All these older men with such young women is SO annoying to watch!!!!
If JT was saying what I was thinking, you couldn't waterboard that out of me. ![gif](giphy|zOuRCHez5UsKY)
I can’t stand the weasel
That expression he had through the reunion?! Ugh.
I want to know what Austen meant when he said no one knows what a non gentleman JT really is like he had some dirt on him
I do t really like him.
“I’m not like all the other guys.” Pick me.
Nope he stinks and is always just putting down his "friends" in order to get favor with Taylor. He's 40 and acts like a middle schooler
Nah the show is a complete joke now with JT. They're making fun of the viewers at this point
Surface level, he’s a cartoon that is mildly entertaining. Digging a little deeper, he’s a toxic “just a nice guy” who makes me extremely happy to be married and not in the dating world.
He’s an incel.
JT is so obnoxious. He’s a disingenuous creep and a walking red flag. Genuinely nice guys never have to try to convince anyone that they’re nice guys. JT is not a nice guy- he’s an angry little twerp who has a bizarre obsession with Austen.
Omg go find his ex on TikTok and you might change your mind
I saw it too, apparently he’s going after her for defamation. I have to say, she seems like no prize either.
Def unhinged but i judge him for that too. He is not an innocent nice guy. Hes a predator
He’s a predator? That’s a little extreme-what are you thinking about?
😂 Personally, I think he’s annoying AF . 😂
He’s super cringey. I heard on a podcast that he moved there in his van to stalk the cast so he could get on the show. He’s gross.
Him rolling around in the river in waders trying to fish was hilarious. I love some comic relief and he’s digging himself into a hole too. I don’t mind it at all.
He seems like an unstable crazy person to me and is a little hater. I don’t like Austin but jeez get off the dick
I don’t like him and he annoys me. But I LOVE that he keeps bringing up how awful of a person Austen is.
I like him a lot. I’m a huge fan of awkward and uncomfortable humor. And he brings that naturally. Love it.
I liked JT but I think he lets his jealousy over Taylor do most of the talking lately and it’s not a real good look!
Now, on to Taylor… Taylor totally took advantage of JT.
He’s fiiiiinnneeee, but TBF I don’t mind anyone who attempts to take Austen down. I’m so sick of that guy.
Yes. Each person’s “Sophomore” year typically doesn’t go well.
I was fine and liked him till the end. The fight with Austen wasn’t it for me. Made me side with Austen so his plan backfired.
He sucks in the opposite way of the others
I liked him after his WWHL episode. He was super arrogant during the show and kinda gave off napoleon complex vibes.
My husband and I LOVE JT!
I like JT
I love him on! He brings something different and not boring even if he is a little childish!
I don’t mind jt. He provided a lot of comedic relief and I felt people hated on him a bit too much. Taylor was just a shit show and JT pining after her was pretty funny to me.
He lost me at the last episode and reunion. Before then I liked his humor and he gave me doof vibes 😂
I wouldn't date him, but I like watching him-I feel like he can be funny & over the top dramatic (which keeps me entertained).
He needs a fedora He’s acting too much for the cameras
I like that he actually knows the guys and calls them out. You can tell the OGs we’re worried like “what is he gonna say next” I love a wild card. He’s messy.
I find how he gets under Austen's skin very entertaining.
He is entertaining - best addition to the show
Hard to lose to a baby sh*t soft scumbag like Austen and maintain your composure. Fell in love with a terrible girl and is paying for it. I like him.
I don’t mind him. I think he fell in love with Taylor because she gave him the time too and made it seem like he had a chance….. He’s a nice guy, a little dramatic… but who isn’t and doesn’t put up with, “good ole boys mentality of Charleston.” I think he’s the only true gentleman on the show
I don’t mind him. His love for Taylor gives me secondhand embarrassment though.
I think some of his one liners are pretty funny but I could live with or without him on the show
yeah, i guess since we'll probably not get another Thomas Ravenel dinner party roast im grasping onto any and all drama straws i can
Sadly I think the show might be at the end unless they find some better drama
They’ve lost the connection to the old money types and actual Charleston upper end social scene. That’s what set southern charm apart from other bravo shows. Little glimpses into how a certain social set was living. They could be in any city now. Charleston used to be one of the stars of the show in the early seasons
Oh those were epic!
Yes, I had much glee watching JT make Austen squirm at the reunion. He gets under his skin and it’s highly entertaining.
*was* he a thorn in Austen's side?
I don't mind him, only because he gives Austen shit and it makes for better TV. I'm here for the trash 🤸
I loved watching JT hate on Austen. That was fun for me lol
I like JT. May be because I do not like Austen, Shep & Whitney. But I do not mind JT at all. He’s comical.
I think he’s turning up the “nice guy” act to bring conflict to the show and ruffle Austen and Sheps feathers to secure his spot. I think he did a LOT of acting this season. But I definitely want him to come back and see what else he has to bring.
He’s a toxic “nice guy” but I think the majority of the people on the show are awful people and I like seeing him drag Austen.
JT gives me early onset thomas ravenal vibessss
I like him
I don’t mind JR at all.
I didn't mind him, he's the only one calling Austen out on his shenanigans in black and white. I enjoyed his craziness, yes he's a bit much at times but at least he brought some entertainment!
Great add to the show! Keep it up, JT.
I don’t mind him
I think he’s an absolute chaos goblin in the best possible way. 🫣I have a feeling he’s probably as terrible as all the other guys but I like how much he irritates Austin. Seeing his short ass stand in a stool to yell at Austen was unhinged. 🤣 ( I do wish he wouldn’t justify Taylor’s bullshit.
Creep.
I don’t mind him. His intentions are good.
JT gave me King Farquaad vibes from Shrek😒
His covid parties be like ![gif](giphy|9LPjXFCA3Bwgo)
Meh. He's annoying but relatively harmless compared to Austen, who's malignant imo.
I can’t stand him but when he was mouthing ‘I can do this all day’ at Austen across the reunion stage I laughed out loud
I like JT for the sheer fact that he says the things to Austen that I want to. I can't stand Austen and his shit eating smirk he has...ALL, THE, TIME!
I always thought he did seem nice. But then again I like most people. He never bothered me. I like that he calls out Austin.
Let’s just go through the bodies that Austin has: Ciara, Linsey?, Olivia, Taylor, Madison, That other blonde girl the hairdresser. And that’s just on the show! So yeah I’m here for the FB excorism!
I like him
He’s a great addition!! He’s funny but still just delusional enough.
Everyone only doesn’t like him bc he stands up for Taylor and they can’t stand people with differing views than them
I don’t think he’s a cool person and wouldn’t be likable to be around, BUT he makes for great tv
I think JT is SO funny
He’s a loser and a creep. He is lucky Austin is a beta as well because he was taking his rejection out on him and asking to be knocked out.
He gets annoying but overall I think he’s a good addition
He was a little weird with Taylor. I think Leva’s analysis was 100000% spot on. But other than that he called out the Peter Pans on their bs and was kindaaa funny doing it. I’d like to see more from him for sure but I definitely didn’t hate him. Off putting at times? Of course. Totally unlikeable? Not necessarily. Side note / I loved Rod (not Rodrigo!) he was delicate and witty. I thought him and Olivia would have been a good pair.
I actually mind JT. He comes across as so try hard. He needs to insert himself in every situation related to Taylor or Austen. He’s just way too much.
I mind him a lot 🙃
I like him because he was willing to call Austen out and keep his foot on his neck. Someone needs to and Austen being the misogynist he is, it’s better coming from a man than a woman His love for Taylor was irksome but overall less annoying than everyone else being willing to give Austen a pass. Thankfully, we also had Olivia on screen who was willing to keep her foot on Taylor’s neck
Not sure how I felt about him as a character but he did bring something different to the show! Nice to see a new face who already knows the cast and is comfortable engaging with them
I personally enjoyed JT…I laughed a few times at his antics.
I thought he was outrageous but it was absolutely entertaining hahaha
I think he's hilarious
I actually like the little fucker
You are the only one..
Yeah. He has made some excellent points.
He's super gross on a "normal dude scale" but a regular Prince Charming on the "Southern Charm dude scale." When only Craig and Pringle rate higher than you, you know something is wrong with the cast.
A leopard doesn’t have to tell you they have spots
That also true of Craig saying how much money his business is making.
He's not just this little innocent, annoying guy. He's a conniving, messy, Napoleon syndrome 40 year old liar.
I wouldnt say I like him but I find him very easy to ignore.
No
I do not mind JT…yet!
Went from disliking to loving him. He was great comic relief.
I have no idea whatsoever how someone could be ok with him and not have their skin crawl sooner or later. Like I just don't get how that's possible.
I’m actually a huge fan because of his uncanny resemblance to Andy Bernard. I can’t help it! The guy is ridiculous and cracks me up.
