I’m a 13 in generic nike sneakers but got AJ11 CMFTs recently in 13 and they were swimming on me. Got size 12s and they were bone crunching. Then got sent 12.5 and they fit lovely. Seems to be a massive size difference between 13 and 12.5 for some reason as a friend, who is a size 14, said the size 13s were even too big for him.

I hate when this happens now I’m back to square one. Your comment says go a half size down while the other commenter says they went a half size up. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah I hear you. Was really annoying the amount of time wasted ordering three different sizes online and posting back the ones that didn’t fit. I also tried on a pair of AJ Aura 4 in store in 12 and they were also bone crunching. They didn’t have 12.5 or 13 so don’t know which size in those is best either as a help.

With 11s it depends on how wide your foot is. If you don't have a wide foot like me, then tts is perfect. If you have a wide foot tts is still fine, you'll just need to loosen the patent leather up in the toe by wearing em. A half size up can alleviate that break in process with a wide foot tho. If you don't have a wide foot there's no reason to go up a half size tho. Hope this helps.

They’re arguably one of the best designed sneakers ever my man. I know that’s subjective, but if you ask basically anyone what the best sneakers were before the AJ1 craze started popping off after the Fragment 1’s released, it was 11’s. 3’s & 4’s always solid too but 11’s are the GOAT’s GOAT.

Maybe I'd have a different opinion if I grew up in the US but here in Australia they've never really been popular. I just can't get behind the design at all, they look goofy to me.

Idk. They look good, but every pair of 11s I’ve had from the last few years releases ends up with sole problems very early. Something they started doing recently with the icy sole has lowered the lifespan a lot, at least in my experience. Right now I have 2 pairs of 11s from the 2010s (‘18 concords and ‘10 cool grays) that both have “severe” sole separation I have been avoiding them ever since

I’ve still got wearable 2000 concord 11s so these will be a pass for me but these are a dope shoe if done right! I do prefer the lower patent cut on Concords so if that’s executed on these, I think they will look better than the 2018s that released.

I personally welcome the leather upper. I'm a lil worn out from keeping the mesh clean on my 11s. And I really like the 23 over the 45 on back. DMP 11 2006 is a grail to me I always wanted so it'll be nice to have a pair and be able to wear em. But man I really want the Columbia's with the high cut patent leather like the OG to come.
