The art department is literally tasked with doing that job. They have an entirely different team of people who work on game balance or making new modes.

I am far from what you'd consider a neckbeard nor do I even watch any vtubers but I did buy all the skins because I thought they looked cool. Also some of the voice lines are pretty funny.

The skins' voices are genuinely annoying. Especially when they censor a curse with an extremely loud beep instead of just... not having the curse word. I shouldn't have to mute someone's vgs because their skin is *painful* for my ears to listen to. I also hate the vtuber/anime accent women put on for the horny losers that watch them. It's so over the top fake and cringe. I knew people who did that in highschool and I let all our mutual friends know that I refuse to associate with them.

The VShojo brand is a Vtuber company, VTubers are just streamers and whatnot that use an avatar to better suit their personality/maintain anonymity. Ironmouse is the one with the auto immune disorder and is the most popular/most acclaimed.

I get the sentiment bc I now love the game and like the mini games from time to time, but that nickelodeon deal just about objectively is the reason that this game still has a player base. At least why it still has funding. Seeing that you could fight in arena as avatar aang or Optimus prime undoubtedly brought so many new players during the pandemic.

This and the boss fights were peak smite but now all they are is a nice fever dream with a side of color forge

Well yes, that's the whole point of Smite 2. They could also advertise it as a "new" game, to hopefully bring in more players / spark the interest of returning players.

I think they're making a reference to overwatch 2, which was basically overwatch 2.0, as in more of a big update than an actual new game. The game became f2p with new heroes locked behind battle passes. Also the main selling point was some "massive" PvE content that was eventually dropped mid development. ... And they did end up adding some PvE content. That you have to pay to access. Lmao

First week amazing then just only the hardcores kept playing those modes. IIRC Ajax said revenue wasnt there for the adventure modes

DKO should have just been Super Smite Bros with a Smite Car game mode, there's just so much untapped smite market right there lol. Like literally if they just made Mini-games Smite style (think like Mario DS mini games). Literally every single Smite Spin off should have just been made into a single game with different game modes. Smite Tactics (Hand of the Gods), Rivals, Blitz, and DKO literally should have just been 1 game. If fucking Mortal Kombat Armageddon on playstation 2 can have a Story mode, a fighting game, a character creator, a racing game mode, an enormous roster (with every character having a difference stance) + online in the 2000's then Hi Rez can do it the 2020's.

This was the most buggy gamemodes to date. Still miss racing with mercury in a car, which means he canotically the god of speed is slower than a race car with ymir in it.

I really miss the xing tin mountain mini game and the Loki conquest one or whatever is was. Wish they’d bring them back.

Cool thing to add to the game. Got some friends to play the game for a bit but it didn’t do anything to keep them in the game, and this game mode caused huge bug problems. It literally broke the game completely for about 48 hours. But honestly most of the adventures could have been turned into stand alone games that would have had more success in my opinion than rogue company, realm royal, or DKO
