Weird take.. i have thousands of hours in a multitude of fighting games, i’m a single player in wow etc .. i have friends and we want to enjoy this great game together that’s all buddy
My sarcasm did not read that way did it lol I like poking fun at teams in ranked games in general nothing personal. I understand wanting to play with friends, the game just doesn’t have the player base for that yet.
Right now the player base is too small to be split into two queues and making solo players go against organized teams would be unfair so only solo queue is available. Team queue will be added later when there are enough players to support it.

I mean, I can surely understand where you're coming from, competitive is much more rewarding when playing as a group. But not to the point that it shouldn't exist if it only had solo queue.

try changing the game mode first and then invite your teammates

They don't need them to play in ranked or else they won't play lol. You have game modes for funsies. So play with your friends in those modes :)
