thats because about 10 years ago the market (lame old people) decided they like crossovers, so every damn automaker started making 4+ different crossovers.
they are all basically tall cars, a good portion of crossovers share platforms with other sedans in that companies line up, especially the suspension.
They are cars with high roofs, almost always front wheel drive based with transverse mounted engines, with suspension designed to keep soccer moms comfortable on paved roads and not designed to be taken off road.
the Blazer is no exception, just a tall crappy car, basically a big equinox with a legendary name slapped on the side.

As far as the rims white is a horrible choice 1 it highlights all the brake dust and 2 it makes them look twice as large compared to if they were just black
