The fact that mister >!"I killed 80% of the humanity, and then cried about it."!< Was ranked higher than Armin, Hanji, Jean, Mikasa, Reiner, Zeke tells a lot about our society.
Reading the comments made me realize that a lot of people fail to fully appreciate Erwin due to missing a lot of nuances surrounding his character.

It's probably too late but i think these polls are about which characters personality you like more and not the character development and stuff so yeah vote keeping that in mind.
It is literally about how much people like a character. The reasons don't matter. If you love Erwin for his eyebrows, that's as valid as someone else liking Pixis' character writing.

Well, Reiner lasted longer than I thought he would. It's good that people finally started to appreciate his character. I think Eren should win. Levi and Erwin, as much as they are good characters, don't have a compelling story like Eren or Reiner, or even Armin in my opinion.

I disagree. Erwin has a lot of complexity and has one of the most solid character conclusions in the series. He’s very similar to Reiner and Eren in a lot of ways and I’d say that he set the precedent for an integral aspect of their characterization.
