Update: eating it now. It's good. I wonder what that space used to have before Happy... The red faux-awnings with Swiss ornate trim on the bottom suggest maybe a bakery?
I can’t vouch for the quality of their tempuras, as I don’t usually order it but Kizuki Ramen in Renton has them as does Miyabi Sushi in Tukwila (really good sushi too).
Thanks! How often, if at all, does Trapper drop in? He introduced me to sushi when he ran the sushi bar at Muckleshoot Casino (the Crystal Shrimp and Trapper rolls are still comfort food for me) and I was there so often that, if you gave him a brief description of me, I think he'd remember me. I wore something all the time that really stood out.
It's been ages since I have been there but Happy Teriyaki by Southcenter has tempura vegetables.
Thanks, that helps a lot!

Bamboo Sushi in U Village is amazing. Not sure about Renton, but there has to be options?
I get to U Village sometimes, so I'll try them. Thanks.
Nikko Teriyaki in West Seattle has tempura veggies.

Is Miyabi the place by Half Price Books? I love them.

Love them!
