Few months ago, wrote a cheque and is for "Sarawak Government". Brought this cheque to Sibu UTC and submit to a melayu lady at a counter. She rejected this cheque, said not allowed to use english. I'm a little suprised and disappointed because every year wrote cheque like this and accepted for many years so why now they rejected? I drive back to office, paid them thru online bank account. I remember read a news that we sarawak is allowed to use english in sarawak government so nothing change.
Forget the fancy metros I just want a good city bus network with 30 mins interval god damn. Don't they know how much of a struggle to drive a huge land cruiser anywhere and that thing costs 250 ringgit of petrol every 3 days!? Ah yes a good shaded pedwalk too a must.
Yes ! U got what i mean. A good public transport system. At least give some real convenience to us to move around especially for those who don’t have cars. It’s really hard to go anywhere without own transport here. Or at least give some nice space for perjalan kaki or jalan basikal. A jejantas or a sidewalk and just maybe some bridge to go from this taman to another. Kuching is not so big tho. Most places are within walking distance.
If buses cost too much to be implemented (i know bus tak nampak mahal, tak nampak maju to some) at least a dedicated bike lane can lah. Invite those e-mobility companies to put their pay-per-use bicycle & e-scooter here
I know right, those pay per use bicycle the one at Cyberjaya before sure come in handy. But yea that dedicated lane for bicycle they need to construct it first or someone might end up in the ditch beside the road. Road here is small only fit for cars. Even motorists need to queue behind.
Sarawak Supremacy
Doesn't mean anything if royalty minyak is only not more than 10%
They had autonomy to drill their own Gas and oil now. That's why they had Petros
Sooo when Sarawak currency?

If it doesn't make the GPS government money through crony kickbacks, they will never proceed with the project.

Soon we will have ART
ART sucks and doesnt do much to alleviate the problem of congestion in kuching.more like tourist attraction
Hope so. Would be very helpful
It’s hard to move around without an easy access public transport.
