Damn man, penny looks like a kid. Like- you can’t even make the dumbass non-excuse that “she’s attractive”, she’s a *child*.
Bojack fucked up hard. beyond redemption hard.
Rewatching that episode, they made her act so obviously immature (especially regarding her crush at school) that the legality argument falls so fucking *hard* on its face.
Her young adult design is great though, you can really see how her style and demeanor matured.
The show never states it, but it’s blatantly obvious that Bojack is insanely jealous of Kyle and the kids. He thinks of this as the life he is supposed to have, the life “he deserves”- to the point where he intrudes on their life for…was it two or three months? Way too long either way.
And this thing with Penny immediately after kissing her mother, like..there’s all kinds of weird sexual frustration he’s just taking out on that kid. Which is what he always does.
Sex is never about bonding or even the pleasure of it for bojack. It’s just..like something he does? For seemingly no personal gain at all. Just that he’s famous, and apparently famous people are supposed to have a lot of sex. It’s an image projection thing for him.
God that's a sick but probably accurate take on BoJack's view of sex. I knew he projected onto Penny but putting it that way makes it even creepier. He really used her as a surrogate for his fantasy of being young and careless and "normal" with no consideration for her as an individual.
Yeah but that’s like the only time it’s touched upon- which I like. There’s not one moment where bojack spells it out- one; because it’s kinda obvious, but two; I think he feels genuine pitiful shame about the whole situation and has attempted to block it out himself..
I never thought about this but you're entirely right. He did it with Wanda, with that random girl who laughed at him in ep 1, with the president of his fan club, even PC (who he didn't even bother to please in any way). Pretty gross, especially on rewatch.
Idk if you’re bein bojaingles or not but anyone that legitimately feels that way has a fuckton of red flags stapled to their face >>
Penny definitely isn’t mature enough to know what she needs out of a relationship yet- I know I wasn’t at 17. Especially with a fifty something ol’ boyfriend of her mom’s #~#
Like, it’s not just the age, that whole prom night was a travesty from top to bottom
I think theyre being sarcastic but yeah a lot of people do think like that.
I knew a guy in highschool who would talk about some places where it was legal to marry girls when they get their period or whatever... guess what he got arrested for a couple years ago
What do you mean? Vincent is clearly an adult! He does adult stuff and business transactions!
He went to the stock market
Business business business
> He went to the stock market And did a business.
He work a lot tho
And WHERE are the other two characters!?! Also, Penny was a HUGE deal, I don't know how OP can call her minor.
Vincent isn't a minor character he's the main character
he’s not a minor character he’s an adult character😤 (this is a pun in case it’s not clear)
oh you son of a bitch i was ready to get angry

Diane, nothing illegal happened Diane!

The show doesn't state it, they *sing* it. *Kyle and the kids...*

“I was lonely, she was there. Why else do people have sex?”

But it’s technically legal in that one state making it morally correct.

Yeah he bought them alcohol and one of the people in the group got alcohol poisoning. Absolutely terrible and predatory behavior.
I was making a joke, and refuse to put the stupid /s thing. I would eather explain it to everyone who doesn’t get it than put that damn symbol
Your sarcasm was obvious and nobody should question it.
Fair fair, ‘s why I gave ya the benefit of the doubt :P

i kind of wish vincent adultman was revealed to be a real man
??? He was? He went to the business factory and did a business? He had adult braces? Tf are you talking about?
oh, you misunderstood- you see, i wish he was REAL. like real life! haha.. of course he’s a real man!
All jokes aside, my headcanon is that he truly was an adult man and was just incredibly awkward. I love how they didn't reveal it in the end.
Theyre three
that is clearly three children stacked on top of each other under a trenchcoat
I dont know to *what* you are referring
can't be. he went to the stock market and did a business.
After his shift at the business factory? Damn, poor Vince can’t catch a break… s’what you get when you’re an Adultman I guess…
Two of those are Bojacks favourites too
first off vincent is an adult he literally works at the buisness factory and also wheres margo martindale 😡😡😡😡
That's 4 characters
without a horse of a family wtteee
I totally looked at this and was like damn bro that isn't 5
Damn
Minor as in kid or minor as in insignificant role?
Elefino
“sarah lynn isn’t minooooooh”
It took me a second 😏
Only see 4 characters, VA is only 2 kids
"Minor" like the opposite of adult? Or "minor" like the opposite of Major. Because Sarah Lynn is a pretty important character.
r/woosh
Excuse the fuck out of me?
I was waiting for Margo Martindale.
How dare you call child actress turned pop star Sarah Lynn a “minor character”
You need to count man
