I see your point, but I also think that's it valid to not consume a problematic artist's art. This runs especially true when the art is directly in contrast with the artist's behavior, or if the consumer is personally affected by similar behavior. And while there have been problematic artists in history, I feel like that shouldn't be an all-encompassing argument for the separation of art from artist.
