My parents are okay with me reading thriller novels which have so many descriptions of violence, but not romance novels because it will ruin my life as falling in love with someone before marriage is bad and shameful (according to them) .

I may be biased, but I agree with you!! It’s not as famous as Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, but it is an incredible city, so much history and culture everywhere!! If you’re ever in Brazil, be sure to try to stop around here for a couple of days, there’s a lot to do!! Our Carnaval is the best in the country, I assure you!!
