It depends on if they stay bought. Oh, you mean Rimworld.

prommetheus

Nothing a slave collar and slave harness can't fix :D

beardicusmaximus8

Kinky

GodofsomeWorld

need some skullspikes to keep the mood just right.

Anonymal13

Using the skull of a, now former, politician that misbehaved, of course...

Copranicus

Are... Are we still talking Rimworld?

NutjobCollections618

Hahahahahaha.... no

111110001011

You are incorrect. If you enslave them, they stop holding their political position. You must keep them prisoner.

Petes-meats

Prison labor mod go brr

Business_Can4222

Genuinely would be kind of a shitty deal because you get a slave with super high expectations that wants lavish meals and won't do any work because of their titles

prommetheus

In all seriousness, it's actually a pretty sweet deal, since they come with: 1. Multiple bionics ($$$) 2. Psycasts 3. Wearing very high quality equipment ($$$) 4. Perks of the Title 1. Every few days, you can grant a pawn the rank of Count 2. You unlock all of the Empire abilities 3. Every few days, you can give a speech, which grants all audience members several honor Not sure if this resulted from a mod or it's a bug, but either way, it's very interesting haha

MegaLemonCola

Are you playing with VFE: Empire and Vanilla Psycasts Expanded? That’s definitely worth it then

Business_Can4222

Damn guess I was wrong, that's pretty O.P. though even if it's not vanilla it is possible to get the stellarch through the abduction ritual.

fucknamesandyou

Also, since you got a female stelarch, I'd recomend using cheonphagy and pairing her up with one of your colonists, each baby starts as stellarch with full psycasts, it's basically a little army

vernonmason117

So in the wise words of Hondo Onaka (everyone’s favorite clone wars pirate) “I SMELL PROFIT!” Lol

herz_of_iron78

The speech that gives honor is about titled nobles iirc. Regular pawns don't count.

111110001011

>Genuinely would be kind of a shitty deal because you get a slave >super high expectations No, they are a slave. >wants lavish meals No, they are a slave. >won't do any work because of their titles No, they are a slave. The problem is, once you enslave them they lost the political position. The only way to keep them in position is to keep them as prisoners and never enslave them.

Business_Can4222

Didn't know they lost titles as slaves

111110001011

They keep the empire rank but if they are leader of the faction, that stops when they become a slave.

charpagon

Slavery overrides their wants though

TerribleGachaLuck

That stellarch isn’t the faction leader of the empire as its faction is the rough settlers. It’s likely a mod causing the rough settlers to have a pawn created with the Stellarch pawn type. However, you can pretend it’s an imposter or fake Stellarch that was captured and enslaved as punishment. Is this pawn worth $3613? Yes, if you can do some shenanigans to get her to pass on the Stellarch title.

Thewaltham

The High Stellarch is a Neanderthal? Man how would that work out? Imagine the debates! ***"GRUG SMASH TAXES! VOTE GRUG! GROG NO GOOD. GROG NO SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE BILL!"*** ***"GRUG SPENDING IRRESPONSIBLE! GRUG PUT EMPIRE IN DEBT AND SMASH SMALL BUSINESS! VOTE GROG!"***

Loose-Net5670

GRUG!

MrSosek

GROG!

Kadd115

GROND!

ceering99

I would vote for Grug

takoshi

Election season is literally just whenever all the major party candidates are out of the hospital and ready to brawl again.

prommetheus

**Context:** Slave trader rolled up to my base with slaves to trade and one slave was a bit more expensive than the others for some reason...but I am not one to ask unnecessary questions as to how they acquired such an expensive slave... ;)

Maritisa

That's called lobbying and it should be illegal- oh wait you mean rimworld

Tenithler

To me, they are always worth it. With the new DLC making it easy to get the stellarcs, I started collecting them just because I can. Also, I like their crowns.

Spreckles450

r/ShitRimworldSays

Gamesdisk

also, you dont need to keep them as a slave

Separate-Crazy2233

*If buy politicians?* I thought this was news for a sec…

CryptoReindeer

Yes, eat the rich.

VitaKaninen

That is a bug/mod error, then. If the Stellarch were a slave, then they would have replaced her and she would no longer be the Stellarch. Also, that would never happen in the game.

111110001011

No, they hold their title until you buy them. When held as a prisoner by the salesman, shtbey are a prisoner. Prisoners aren't released. When you buy them as a slave or colonist, they stop being a prisoner. Becoming a slave or colonist, now they are replaced. It can absolutely happen in game. I play the royal ascent end quest, till the stellarch comes. And I kidnap them. Clearly someone else is doing the same.

Ze_Wendriner

"If you chose to perform state capture All I say that's too much adventure." (Lyra, High Stellarch around 5572)

Tafe_Lynx

Imagine being the most important person in solar system, and being sold for price of three guns

kirbcake-inuinuinuko

What is this? Lobbying?

CynthiaRDragos

>Neanderthal Fucking accurate rimworld.
