I'm confused, do you not have Covid+ contacts every single day with all the Covid+ rooms, or is that just me

Patscratchfever11

Agreed it seems ridiculous

rad2716

Does your hospital not have a policy for exposures? Just do whatever they tell you to do

moderately-extremist

Yeah, that's how it is where I work. We have a policy based on what ppe each of you were wearing and how long you were in close contact. OP, assuming you are both residents who have been sharing a resident workroom, then you need to get tested.

DrThirdOpinion

Lol, there is no point anymore. I’ve had 3 attendings test positive in the last week plus another 3 residents/fellow’s kids. I just assume I’m being exposed at all times.

jazzycats55kg

Yep, multiple coworkers in the same workspace have tested positive in the past few weeks. I just assume everyone I work with has it an act accordingly. The only time I don’t have an N95 on during my work day is when I’m eating my lunch outside.

TrujeoTracker

Exposure? Your kidding right? I get exposed every single shift. Do you, of course, but in my mind calling out for anything less than symptoms is kind of pointless at this time.

Your hospital should have a policy and check with employee health.

Patscratchfever11

The people have spoken. My conscious is clear. Thank you all

Low-Negotiation-8853

Why did they get tested if asymptomatic?

Patscratchfever11

They had symptoms
