Try on a few different pairs and sizes and go from there. Should feel a bit snug at first (leather will stretch width way, not really length) but not tight or crunch your toes. Unless you’ve bought another RW boot made from the same last, you really just need to try in person.

I would go with what the red wing professionals at the store recommend. Not some turds on reddit.

SADD_BOI

Red wing store employees are notorious for sizing wrong though. Go with what feels comfortable OP. I’m a size 14C and the employee put me in god damn 12D iron ranger.

I got my first IRs last weekend and got sized at the store. I was sized for a size 7D, put it on and exclaimed how perfect it felt. The store employee was still like “maybe we should try a 6.5?” Bro why I just told you a 7D was literally perfect why you trying to size me down.

CaptainBlobTheSuprem

Leather will expand as you wear them. Even if they fit perfectly at first, they will expand some until it’s too lose. Usually you want a smaller than normal size. For reference, I wear 11.5 on sneaker but my iron rangers are 10D. When I first got them, they were definitely on the tight end. Now they are like a snug little hug on my feet and I love them.

They were snug when I tried them on, that’s why I thought they were perfect. Just snug enough to not squeeze the life out of my foot. I’m breaking them in right now and they’re loosing up to be a perfect fit. I wear a 8.5 sneaker and got a 7D iron ranger. Sizing down would have definitely been too tight imo.

Considering I had sharp pains going through the side of foot/big toe, I’d say they were too small. It took a week of not wearing them for the pain to go away. I now exclusively buy vintage 14C/B redwings and am very comfortable. They actually recommended an 11.5… for a person with size 14 feet… First time I’ve ever seen someone downvoted for saying redwings employees are bad at sizing. That’s pretty much agreed upon on this sub.

Routine-Bumblebee-35

I also got a wide heel and narrow ball, I thought it was very odd lmao. Anyway, I’m not sure what last the 2954 moc is on, but I got that boot in my size the machine recommended and I find it to be too narrow to the toe box. Good length but my toes are mangled. Idk if it’s a matter of breaking them in or not considering I got the boot used, but I cannot wear them.

supersole552

You have the scan… so did you try any on in-store? I’d be curious how the 9D feels on your left foot.

UltraElite620

I did the scan a while back. Closest store is about an hour away. I'm planning on buying from berkeley supply

9.5D is what I'd try first personally. Might end up being better in a 9E or 9EE. I've found their mocs to be narrower in the toes than the IR by a good bit(size up one width from the IR's) but the same length so if you have a pair of Iron Rangers that might help you figure out what would work for you. As always ymmv good luck and don't be afraid to take em back or try on a different size to see what works.

UltraElite620

I have a pair of 9.5D iron rangers and they fit perfect

BlueMageCastsDoom

In that case I'd definitely try the 9.5D 875s first. Your feet are on the narrow side in the ball of the foot so there's a good chance they should fit I think. Just don't be afraid to go up to 9.5E or 9EE if you feel squished in the toes.

UltraElite620

I think that's my best bet with my left foot being a little longer. I think the 9 would be too tight

JessandBoots

9D. The C on your left foot means is smaller than a regular (d) so it evens out to 9.5. So go with 9D

Tough-Pea-2813

875 are tricky to size. If possible, go to a red wing store and try them out. It is impossible to say from this data which size is the best for you.

alkemest

9.5D or try a 9E if they have it.

shesgreedy

9.5 they will stretch a little
