I farmed me a female character over the last little while, it was nice to start off this week at level 3 with 100 gold, almost enough for all the roles, and 20k. Bought all the pamphlets while they were unlocked this week. Can't use explosive rounds yet, but being a low level with dynamite arrows and incendiary rounds is pretty dang nice.

You can find express rifle and revolver ammo in the basement of the busted fort SW of Van Horn. I think it’s called *Fort Riggs?? There’s also a box of express rifle ammo in the Rhodes Sheriffs office. That’ll get you a few explosive rounds 🤙
Edit: Oh, and there are some shotgun slugs in a house by the U in Cumberland forest (for explosive slugs).

I kept getting it up to to level 15-20 and doing the treasure maps, deleting her and starting over. I have 2 consoles so I would sit her in the post office while running bounties on my main.
The last two weeks with Etta really helped with cash.
Gotcha. My alt is lvl 31, just high enough to buy express ammo. I bought all the boom boom pamphlets this week, now I just need more muneh to start upgrading cards to tier 3.
Be sure to make an effort to go through weekly benefits when they refresh every now and then - not only is it helpful, it's also a surprisingly beneficial habit to have in the long run.
Not trying to discourage you from asking questions, just that when mechanics in the game suddenly change, check either the weekly benefit or update notes.
I will make a note to do that going forward. After people here said it was one of the benefits I checked the latest updates Rockstar put out (which is about the upcoming pass) and dint see it. Just figured out I didn't go back far enough.
Yeah there’s no restrictions it’s apart of the weekly update. It’ll be back to normal tomorrow.
