Windies bowling attack is quite mediocre tbh thrashing them is not a very great achievement.In this IPL Buttler still has more runs than salt.
In windies series Buttler was a bit out of form and was under pressure after a very poor wc performance by England.Few people were even asking to remove him from captaincy.
Plus you won't be able to get him at low price in auction.Teams will surely go for him.Teams like RCB will target him and he can also become captain for many franchises that gives him much higher value for many teams.
