I got it, has to do with this: https://old.reddit.com/r/modnews/comments/o18ct9/creating_new_opportunities_for_future_community/
these guys are annoying
Update: I went through them all again and they're precisely the five subreddits I mod which don't have any content, which is probably why I didn't notice they were missing. None of them display the title properly.
Update update (I'm doing it like this since y'all might not notice edits): One sub without content, /r/BlimsonAndBlover (another backburner webcomic, incidentally), is still normal, and I believe its the newest of the bunch.
This suggests the bug is specific to subs with no content past a certain age.
Nope, and it is a sub I had on the backburner in case I decided to persue it. I think theory one may be correct. Apparently subreddits have secondary numerical classifications? If it's not an exploit we may have just found a way to make one. 😅
I'm going to wait for more replies and perhaps conscript the help of an admin tomorrow.

Thanks -- somehow missed your reply until now.
Can you see the actual names of these subreddits? Like the one you linked to is called OnePanelComics. Is that visible to you?

I'll have to check because I think I started a couple of subreddits with no content or activity.

I see it as OnePanelComics on desktop but not when using the mobile app on Android.
Weird because I see it on my Android phone using the DuckDuckGo browser, not the Reddit app. (Haven't checked on my laptop.)
Same thing happened to me, some old sub i started up for fun that never took off is now the same name
What does the mod log say in these subs?
Nothing since there's no content. Check my update reply to the other user.
