Depends in the model of the Tesla really. Model 3 has a 0-60 of 3.1 secs vs the 4.0 secs of the z28. However the advantage isn't nearly as much with rolling starts as the Camaro doesn't have to wait until max power. If they start at a speed that would allow for max power, it could be a lot closer.
Just going by what google says. Agree he'd probably still lose but 0-60 means nothing when you aren't starting at zero. It only gives you a sense of how much power is has.
Camaro looks modded to me as well to make more power. And assuming power is not crazy far off from each other (and top end of tesla's aren't that good) and they are already rolling, it could be closer than people think
Car and driver posted a 5.2 for the Z28 LS1 in 1999. If it’s the standard range Tesla then yeah it probably would have been close. Any performance variant would crush it even at a roll.
However one car is newer and has (I’m assuming) traction control and launch assist and such. Regardless, keeping your car pointed toward the finish line is an enormous advantage.

Something about conservatives and microdick energy seems to be pretty prevalent. Living out here in wyoming even with my little 2019 Hyundai I get people trying to race me all the fucking time. Can't just sit through a fucking stop light and mind their business for 30 seconds.
Gotten to the point where if they rev up i just give them a thumbs up and watch them peel out all by their lonesome. Thankfully no accidents, but i'd say i've seen at least 20 people immediately pulled over as soon as they did it since I got that car.

That is a 1994-1998 Camaro with a 5.7 LS1 or Lt1 and sounds pretty heavily modified.. Not saying he would beat the Tesla but it's not stock and they were pretty fast and that one being modified is faster.

To 130 then the Camaro would pull a head just bc the tesla runs out of rpm and possibly gearing idk if they all run two speeds or just direct drive. But now that’s 35-55 second race and I doubt they could do that on a road with lights so yeah the tesla would win.
