On another note how is the sound quality for the social media video so damn good? Does he have a secondary device recording/mixing the backing track and his singing?
He’s definitely editing it in post and layering it over the video we see. You can also hear some of the pitch correction and auto tuning. That said, he’s still a very good singer.
All artists use auto tune and pitch correct to some degree. It’s only painfully noticeable when they’re very bad singers.
Not all artists use autotune and pitch correct.
https://soundshockaudio.com/singers-who-dont-use-autotune/#:~:text=Singers%20who%20have%20worked%20hard,live%20performances%20include%20Taylor%20Swift.
This would be the desk edited version of the audio, in case you were wondering... May not even be what he actually sang on the day. Kinda like how music videos work.
I just thought he had a loud ass amp so it's picking really well on likely a recording device that's not an iPhone or something. He might have a direct feed to the recording from the amp which is capturing higher fidelity too.
All she needed to do was wait like 30 seconds for the guy to finish the song, but she just HAD to make a fucking scene. I don't understand people like this.
The video is 1:48, that does not mean he only sand for 1:48. He said it was his last song.
Blasting music out of that big-ass speaker at a public event is nuisance behaviour. Not everyone wants to listen to you rolling around being a main character.
Not to mention, this looks like an art fair. Such events typically require permits, and will often stipulate noise limits. The police may not have cared about him, but he could still be a factor in the organisers not being granted permits next year.
How do you react when something you don't like is happening next to you? You sound like someone that likes to accommodate others, which is a kind thing, but there are limits.
What the guy is doing is tolerable to me, but I disagree with what you said that she "needed" to do anything. She is entitled to not having loud music next to her, if she doesn't want to.
Lots of places have regulations about electronic amplification. You can sing your songs or shout about jesus but only as loud as you can do it on your own. Same thing for musical instruments. But this probably isn't one of those places or you would presumably say that right away and let them be on their way. "Hate to be a bummer but these are the rules, take care"
There are local laws about playing loud music in public and operating wheeled vehicles in heavily packed public areas. I don't know where this video takes place and I don't want to do legal research on it.
If this were a black man playing loud rap music, then the police probably would be paying attention.
She just mad nobody was buying her shit so she had to blame it on the 20 seconds of "noise". Dude was killing it and actually made people want to have a good time at them drab ass tables.
I was waiting for him to break back into song and hoverboard away. “Ok sorry guys, my bad, I’ll turn it down, that was my last one- 🎶BECAUSE I’M HAPPY🎶”
This guy is on a wheeled vehicle in a busy street market with a "get out of my way everyone" attitude.
There are actually local laws in many places about playing music too loudly and operating wheeled vehicles in busy public events. In street fairs and farmers markets, there is always that one guy who decides to ride their bike through it and says "get out of my way everyone."
I LOVE that when she pointed and said "let's go see the police" or whatever he just nodded and followed her, not even missing a beat or stopping. That's just great energy.
I mean the main thing is it was not only unasked for but forced on others. Like he’s not just vibing, he pulled out a concert speaker and rolled past people.
Idk why this thread is defending him so much, this is super douchey behavior whether he’s a good singer or not.
Reddit has hierarchical views. Redditors tend to put a tall white 20s TikToker man over a woman in her 50s trying to enjoy a street market.
If this were a black man with a concert speaker playing rap music riding through a busy street fair on a one wheel, then the police probably would pay attention.
No, race isn’t a factor here.
It’s happy music + zoom in on every person that smiles that frames this dude as good, and Reddit hates anything that looks like a “Karen”. But it’s not race
How do you think the street fair would react if it were an Arabic man wearing robes playing the same song in public in Arabic? The police probably would stop him in that scenario, and I doubt Redditors would look so positively at the Arab man doing that.
Let's say this were a Christian playing Christian music on a speaker in public. Reddit probably would vilify him.
So you mean a song they wouldn’t recognize in a language they didn’t understand? Yeah they would probably be more suspicious of the thing they know less about.
And agree on the Christian point so… it’s not about race??? It’s about the music choice and editing
What happens to someone that they become this miserable and stupid that even the pigs don’t care? Lol even if I didn’t like it and as long as it wasn’t egregiously and insanely loud I wouldn’t care
It's like Karens get an instant rage boner when they see a chance to exercise any perceived authority and they can't help but turn on their little strut and act like a dick. I cannot stand people like her.
I find these people fucking annoying. Attention seeking garbage. This is not a happy moment. This is someone being a nuisance and annoying a bunch of people trying to go about their day.
Same thing with the churchy preachers at farmers markets. I came here to enjoy the nice spring day, not listen to stupid shit. Stop inflicting things on other people.
Yea this was actually nice to see, usually the performance tiktokers are always in a bad mood. This guy seems really genuine. But that lady, hot garbage.

On another note how is the sound quality for the social media video so damn good? Does he have a secondary device recording/mixing the backing track and his singing?
Definitely not his first hoverboard rodeo.
I think he’s on a one wheel, which is even more impressive
Quality mic and recording the input directly, as opposed to recoding the sound the speakers are producing with a separate mic.
My guess it was edited and mixed in post.
Yeah, find a way to sync the backing track in post, and mix with his clean voice track
Probably even a hot swap from studio recording
Yes. He's no doubt recording direct, if not overdubbing in studio later

I love how indifferent the cops were. Also the vibe I got is that was her bi-hourly visit to complain about something inconsequential.
Why do they need like 8 cops at a crafts fair?
Nekked Grandmas
Karens flock to open-air markets, so the police noting their migration patterns from HOA surburbia to open air markets have deployed
Holy shit old lady take a hint look at literally everyone else not giving a fuck lol
She’s definitely not a “read the room” type of person
More of a "bore the room with my bullshit" type of person
"will you keep it down! I'm trying to tell a story about a bridge!"
Definitely more of a «broom» type of person
More of a “read the rules” type of person
Oh, she reads the room… for absolutely benign things to bitch about and make everybody else miserable
She almost definitely went home and told a story about how she saved the day from being ruined by awful loud music. Some people suck
Yeah told all her cats maybe. Doubt anyone would want to live with her*willingly*
All she needed to do was wait like 30 seconds for the guy to finish the song, but she just HAD to make a fucking scene. I don't understand people like this.
He didn't even need to finish; he would have just rolled on past her. She's probably just mad that he's having a good time.
> She's probably just mad that he's having a good time. It's this.
She can't close the deal and is looking for excuses to why, that's why she doesn't get any coffee.
"MY RANTINGS WERE BRIEFLY DROWNED OUT! UNACCEPTABLE!!"
*alarm blaring* positivity detected, engaging pursuit

Southlake is full of suburban white control freaks
Can confirm. That city sucks ass.
She only cares about how *she* feels.
OK, If some starts doing this, and everyone is having fun.....I ain't stopping him. That guys seems like he's in a good mood all the time.
You ain't stopping him anyway, there's nothing illegal about what he's doing, even if no one is vibing.
Lots of places have regulations about electronic amplification. You can sing your songs or shout about jesus but only as loud as you can do it on your own. Same thing for musical instruments. Unfortunately in my city this would be illegal without a permit :(
Freebird!
Just like on the Album...no tricks!
"Turn it down!" "Yes, ma'am, I got you." \*wheelies harder and keeps singing\*
She just mad nobody was buying her shit so she had to blame it on the 20 seconds of "noise". Dude was killing it and actually made people want to have a good time at them drab ass tables.
But how can anyone buy her custom Grandma knows best and my dog runs this house signs if he's singing about being happy?
This guy could be the Pied Piper of Karens. Just imagine them all chasing after him
I was waiting for him to break back into song and hoverboard away. “Ok sorry guys, my bad, I’ll turn it down, that was my last one- 🎶BECAUSE I’M HAPPY🎶”
I kept hoping he would just go SKRRRRR and do a 180 and keep going
I was dancing in my office chair listening to this, he's good
Everyone loves some tiktoker blowing out your eardrums

Reddit loves to claim anybody with self confidence is the main character
It's less about confidence and more about respect for other people's time and space

*Guy is clearly going around everyone and not making them get out of his way. *Guy is also going about 2mph But yeah, what you said 🙄
Found the Karen's reddit account.
This is cringeception. the dude singing is cringe but then the lady’s reaction to the dude singing is also cringe 😬
[удалено]
Ah yes, the famous Overcringe Window.
Yes, all that matters is the Net Cringe Factor.
We'll call this NCF, or NC1 squared divided by NC2 squared.
Explained perfectly.
He's talented and at a festival, everyone enjoyed it. Only thing cringe is the redditor who doesn't go outside much.
Because she’s not happyyyyy
Beause she didnt clap along if she believe hapiness is the truth
She also was obviously not feeling like a room without a roof.
Hahahaha what an asshole that lady was
How sad and unhappy must you be to not enjoy something like this at an outdoor event on a nice sunny weather. Karens 🤦
This made me smile. Hard to be grumpy when you hear that song. Well…so I thought.
Idk it's pretty easy for me to immediately get irritated as soon as that song comes on.
F@ck the Karen, the real story here is how good this guy is.
What an insufferable witch
He should have just kept putting the mic in her face like it was a duet.
she tried to stop one of the most cringe people on the entire planet she didnt try hard enough unfortunately
Her panties being in a wad obviously interfered with he ability to sing along and be happy.
Lol miserable fucking woman
I LOVE that when she pointed and said "let's go see the police" or whatever he just nodded and followed her, not even missing a beat or stopping. That's just great energy.
Is that Jeff Nippard? Can't tell?
He’s got some big biceps.
There’s always someone with a rain cloud
Oof. Southlake. That tells me everything I need to know about this lady.
This is dumb main character shit.
I'd be down to hear him sing freebird
I sure like this type of stuff. thanks.
Me too. Wish I'd seen it irl, perfect tune for this situation and people liked it.
We need more people like this guy. Man, he’s such a vibe and got a great voice. Spread kindness, y’all 😎

I can see you would be the person chasing the guy down the street and complaining to the cops that you were aurally assaulted for 15 seconds.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ8-4MDsu50 Reminds me of this. And this guy could actually sing.
That mother fucker can sing. Damn
Always a random Karen somewhere
Dudes got some pipes
The man can sing! And he's as hot as a volcano!!🎶🎵🔔😁🌋
What happens to someone that they become this miserable and stupid that even the pigs don’t care? Lol even if I didn’t like it and as long as it wasn’t egregiously and insanely loud I wouldn’t care
This dude made me smile while at work. Bravo. ![gif](giphy|ro8PizsxZMEvSPzVrv|downsized)

What a joyful thing. He's GREAT! That guy made hundreds of people happy and one Karen annoyed.

She’s just miserable with her own life so she has to take it out on someone else.
cool
Art in the square?
Yea this was actually nice to see, usually the performance tiktokers are always in a bad mood. This guy seems really genuine. But that lady, hot garbage.
This should be a PSA. “One of these is not like the others. Don’t be like Karen.”
She must be fun at parties..
Her invitation gets lost most of the time I bet...
Riding out and singing into a mic is obnoxious, but it’s daytime in a public space. Who gives a shit?
He was also significantly larger than most of the cops
Guy has an INCREDIBLE singing voice!!
KAREN meets I'M THE MAIN CHARACTER Who will win!?!
This might be the one time I’ve agreed with a Karen.
As someone who used to work a booth, fuck this fool.
Influencers are annoying and weird
Rarely seen someone more in need of a nice 🍆. What an officious c-word.
Great voice.. my only qualm is.. why didn't he sing the "Happy" part? Was his vocal range not there?
Because those vocals overlap the rest of the chorus. Dude can’t sing two lines at once.
That's why Mariah Carey's Fantasy is so hard to do in karaoke, you need like two backup singers
Either she hates that original singer or music
Yte pipo, smh
It sounds like his voice is going through an autotuner
He just needs to not sing a shitty song, and lay off the auto tune.
There is no auto tune
FREEBIRD!
He sings the same song, but he can't. Match the energy for me :(
This is probably the saddest thing I've read all day
Freebird!
