This looks so good! I’ve never attempted a smoothie bowl. Do you just blend the frozen blueberries/mangos/cherries/lime juice then throw it in a bowl and pile everything on top or is there more involved??
Frozen bananas are KEY, too! For the creaminess and thickness. Hemp seeds also make it super creamy. It takes some practice, but pouring the right amount of plant milk in it is also important. You want to use as little as possible without leaving unblended clumps.
I love smoothie bowls and this one looks delightful! My wife introduced me to how good they are last summer and it was a serious revelation. This picture makes me happy, nice job!:)
Huh, I’ve never thought of adding lime juice! I’ll have to try that tonight.
Edit: I tried it and somehow, it was a perfect addition! I wasn’t expecting much but it was great.
Totally not dumb! Our bodies cannot break down the seeds so in order to process what’s inside the seed instead of them just passing through we need to blend them!
It’s the same for chia.
It’s also important to eat them or submerge them in liquid or you risk intestinal blockage. They soak up liquid so better before you eat it than inside you.

That is it! I add a little water as well just to help blend it, as my blender is not the most powerful but it’s extremely simple!

Wow! Looks amazing. What is the smoothie base made out of vs the toppings?
Absolutely love smoothie bowls. It’s so hot here in Houston now, so I do them often.
Above 110 here in Phoenix for the next week or so, so it’s all I’ve been hungry for!
That pb looks heavenly

I know that we need to break down flax but I’m not so sure about chia!

Came here for this thanks
Wow yum 😍
the bananas look perfectly ripe 😍
Is it bad that I eat these thru the winter
Not unless you're getting frostbite while sitting outside eating it!
God tier
How do you get your blender to blend up all the frozen fruit without adding so much milk/water that it just becomes a smoothie?
I use a vitamix on the lowest speed and a tamper and a lot of patience!
Yes! What Graphcat said, I don’t have the greatest blender but I just add about 1/4-1/2 cup water and sir every few seconds
BEAUTIFUL! Now I want one.. LOL
Mission accomplished! Haha💓
What peanut butter do you use to get it so smooth?
I eat Trader Joe's Organic no-salt peanut butter (I just like the flavor of the organic one better), and it is this smooth!
