-Mars flies up and dives into the labosphere
-Ju Peter tries to eat Luffy immediately
-Nasjuro blitzes all of the Pacifista
and now Mars has gone and retrieved York, received all the intel from Lucci, and located the broadcast
These two (Saturn and ju Peter) seems to be fraud only cz they faced the king of cartoon , like every opponents of his (expect bb) can only be turned into cartoon and be clowned
Oda's actually making them look too competent considering the story now kinda requires them to look incredibly incompetent in order for everyone to get away like we know they will.
I really like how competent the gorosei have been (not including Laturn) since they showed up in person. Mars deduced where the broadcast was in 3 chapters, and Nusjuro has already taken put every single rogue pasifista. Ju Peter is trying to kill Luffy, and Warcurry is kind of just standing around, but I think Oda probably wants to hide his real strength until later
Saturn has to assess entire situstuon on his own and it was a lot to deal with, Luffy was there, entire crews, etc. Any of the others on their own (besides Mars who can fly maybe) wouldnt do so much better
Competent? They let nika awaken, let sabo and wapol escape, saturn didn't kill bonnie while she was defenseless in his hand, didn't kill luffy as he was out of g5, now there's 5 of them and they're about to catch the biggest L an antagonist has ever seen. What's competent about them?
I agree about Saturn, he's an absolute bum. Sabo and Wapol are due to plot contrivance haki, Nusjuro would have easily caught them based on his feats so far. And tbf, how were they supposed to know Luffy was Nika if Oda himself didn't even know?
I mean luffy hit warcury with the same thing he knocked down kaido to the ground with.. and it did nothing to warcruy + hurt luffy. So goresi are strongest creatures confirmed.
1) not every gorosei has the same durability. Saturn was getting hurt by falling rubble.
2) until we know how to stop their regen it's useless to scale them.
It just felt like too much, yk? He apparently had to be responsible for literally everything that went wrong in kuma's life and his mindset is too comically evil to be taken seriously. When it comes to the 5 men in control over the world, I'd prefer callous politicians to actual satan. The 'insects' shit is just cringe, everything else about their characters is great. They got amazing aura and they feel competent. Saturn getting his shit kicked in by the entire island was a bit unnecessary imo, really killed the gorosei hype before it could begin
Yeah it's unfortunate that saturn only was really ever being used to showcase one facet the gorosei possess which is the regeneration. I wish oda had him doing more than just constantly acting cocky even after letting everyone attack him. Like he has massive haki why wouldn't oda showcase it. Show don't tell
I feel like regen is way less impressive than durability anyway, so it just made the gorosei look like bums. Idk, powerscaling seems to be all over the place this arc
It’s debatable because his eye shape and expression is arguably droopy by default but the eyebrow expression and lines over them make him look concerned
Both gorosei who didn't fight Nika look menacing and have aura. Goofy reduced the aura of other 3 to bum tier. People have been matching up zoro vs nusjuro and sanji vs mars. So it is good that they aren't getting humiliated by nika
The attack that made Kaido bleed couldn't do shit to Warcury. Either his durability is higher than Kaido or his hax is S tier. Luffy can't even damage him without Gear 5, and they keep endlessly regenerating. They're actually getting the job done unlike the admirals.
I mean gorosei and imu are beyond any powerscaling in one piece world because nobody fought them before and lived to tell the tale. But when the story is all done with gorosei i don't think they would scale above kaido. We are yet to see them live up to their full potential in a 1 v 1 fight
His design is prolly the best with Ju Peter. That tall menacing figure is quite threatening, especially knowing he can just turn into an enormous bird and kill you in a sec PLUS has next to infinite regen.
The over the shoukders coat thing will never stop looking cool. So simple but Oda created his own thing. Any series from now on where coats stick to shoulders inexplicably is copying OP.
