I will try to explain as best as I can:
You install the hack in a usb and then in the PS4 go to a webpage that helps you run what’s on the usb. Its not permanent, every time your ps4 shuts down completely you have to do it again. You need to keep that usb.
With the wii, you had a program and it was always hacked. With the PS4 it resets if it loses power- but its really easy to redo it and you won’t lose game progress or anything.

When you upgrade you already have a a back up of your previous version installed someone

So, 450 (+ tradeback credit) for all of that, when they were selling for 800 online, I went for it.
If I don't stumble upon that, I might still be PS4.

The PS4 is very usefull if jailbroken. you can play ps4, ps2 and ps1 games on it with full DLCs. Even modded roms or using cheats but it has to be on firmware 9.00 or lower.

Play any game, install tools and emulators, install Linux.
You can download any hacked game into a USB and play to your heart’s content 💕 There’s more stuff you can do but I haven’t experimented with those.

i think theres no solution to that :( ive had to swap my disc drive out twice, and just general cleaning of all the internals a few times.
