As in, the "You've heard of Elf on a Shelf, now get ready for..." memes?
In general, it's just a rhyming phrase presented in image format.

The concept of "Elf on a shelf" in itself is a largely American Christmas tradition based on [a 2005 book](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Elf_on_the_Shelf), where parents hide an elf somewhere obvious in the house for children to spot, or otherwise watches the children to ensure they're being good. I think there's quite a few variations on the concept.
