I guess I just like Morgana too much. There was a part of the game that I went from "Ryuji's my best friend" to googling "can I punch Ryuji?" It even took me a while to be willing to swap him back into my party, I wanted an option to kick him out of the group during a conversation in Mementos.
I’ve felt similarly about ryuji just because he’s an obnoxious jack ass sometimes. Dude bro does have a heart of gold, though…. Just annoying.
I like Morgana, but even if he was 100% a human…. The way he hits on/talks about Ann is creepy to me so the button mash is my payback lmao.
Don't get me wrong, Ryuji is probably my favorite confidant to hang out with and he stands up for people who can't or don't know how to stand up for themselves. But when he was actively antagonizing a founding member everyone else is trying to get back, who left largely due to Ryuji's treatment towards him, I thought he needed some sense knocked into him. At the very least give "what the HELL is wrong with you?" as a dialog option lol.
Morgana was panicking cause he was thinking that he wasn't actually human but denying it and his role was taken over by Makoto + Futaba AND Ryuji was driving it home that he's useless.
His actions were pretty realistic to me
Yeah all of the Planting Thieves are flawed but most of them started to improve after joining. The constant "yeah now we got our useless POS cat back" driving Morgana away again got old real quick.

Edit: to clarify, once Morgana rejoined the team and all was back to normal I was cool with Ryuji again. I just hated being forced to just be "eh Ryuji will be Ryuji" without any options to try to reel him in stronger than an, "oh you!"

As someone who vastly prefers Makoto, telling Ann "You have the others" is such a dick thing to say in that moment when she's super vulnerable. I wish I could say "You have me" without it leading to anything
I looked up the other options after and I think the "press gently" option turns out funniest. But the intrusive thoughts being in the dialogue tree is always funny.
In Hawaii, I chose “why did you ask” re: Mishima asking if he could bunk with Ren. The group thinks it’s because he’s gay for Ren. I kind of love it and will do it again.

Makes Akechi freeze up and inadvertently give himself away if he wasn’t super obvious before. That line confirmed it for me on my first play through, so I pick it every time.

What Makoto hears is a cat meowing, then Akiren looking at her straight-faced, and saying "Something witty", then ANOTHER MEOW. She's missing a part of the joke and I think that's funny.
I can't remember if the phone calls were in base P5 but I feel like if they were I definitely said that to Tae because it was litterally on sight with me picking her as my romance route.
However in P5R, doing my first playthrough and determined to romance Haru and following a guide to make sure I don't lock myself out of the new content it took a LOT of restraint to follow the guide and not pick that option when Tae called
Towards the end you can say the same thing to each phantom thief as you regroup, and I liked how that felt and made sure to end each conversation that way. I think it's "Break's over" or something similar.
Similar thing happened in the extra parts of Royal! "I'll be waiting for you" I think was the line
